Thanks!! I was going to go off the diet because I was doing so well but after I ate beans, the apples, corn nuts, and regular salted nuts I broke out on my chin! Only a minor breakout but back to no carbs!! Hope you are doing well also!
Talked to my acupuncturist today about some very interesting stuff... He was telling me how he want to this cell biologist lecture and found out that animal products (red meat milk butter pork etc) have two different sugars around there cells.. where we only have one (because over time evolution has taken the other sugar away because we did not need it anymore) .. but it is still found in apes.. so I was think since when I ate these products which have this other sugar my body doesn't know how to react.. The scientist and my acupuncturist went way deeper into the subject and could explain it way better.. but I just thought that was interesting and wanted to post it here. They think that this sugar may cause cancer and that is why cancer can be linked to red meat etc..
Ate turkey for the past 2 days an drank lots of water with it.. So I gues it was the honey mustard. Face has cleared up but still have red marks and pores ... Has anyone tried a chemical peel? Just a light one that costs around 100... I have been thinking about getting one
Have been drinking apple cider vinegar the past few days and taking turmeric powder.. I don't know which one is helping but wow I have noticed a big difference. I haven't been to acupuncture in like 2 weeks and I guess that is what was controlling my breakouts because after about a week I started breaking out a tiny bit on my chin again. Then I took turmeric and apple cider vinegar 3 days in a row and my chin inflammation has went down a ton. Going back to acupuncture tomorrow so hopefully I will be 100% clear again soon.
Went to acupuncture yesterday. I felt 2 painful pimples on my chin last night (time of the month) so I took an extra dose of apple cider vinegar.. So when I woke up they were gone and my chin looked dried out. Not sure if it was the acupuncture or apple cider vinegar.. My skin glows since I have been drinking ACV... Just ordered a dermaroller.. Let you guys know how that goes
Ever since I have been drinking tons of ACV I think I have been detoxing from the candida again. I am showing signs and symptoms of the die off again. My chin also looks almost 100% better.. Just old bumps dieing down.. However I didn't see my acupuncturist yesterday so he probably had something to do with me clearing also. But I am sure I still have a candida problem and the ACV is helping. My skin has a glow to it and everything is clear besides the scars and dieing pimples from a couple days ago. I am going to start taking stuff to kill off the candida along with ACV. It's so weird because I feel like I can only eat unpleasant things now.. garlic (to kill off candida).. ACV (to kill off candida), turmeric (which tastes weird) ... and the few good things I have in my diet I am getting tired of. I hope this isn't forever and I hope I can eat fruit again soon without upsetting the candida.

i mean not one pimple.. Not one pimple coming.. just clear beautiful skin like I once had before... So now I KNOW it's candida.. I wasn't bad at all but my chin still wasn't perfect.. I'd say 90-95 at all times but never perfect... And the nuts and almond butter have carbs in them which can feed the candida.. I don't think I can go to long without nuts but I am going to try... I hear pumpkin seeds are anti fungal's so maybe I switch to pumpkin seeds 24/7.

If I stick to a paleo-esque diet, strictly cut sugar AND gluten, and make sure I'm eating more alkaline than acidic foods, my skin looks DAMN good. The tone is clear and white, not red and ruddy, and no breakouts. I found that almond butter breaks me out, which sucks because I LOVE almond butter. I tried cashew butter and so far so good. I really like cutting pieces of banana up with dipping them in cashew butter for a snack.
Good luck with your journey! My anti fungal of choice is definately cocount oil followed by the physillium and bentonite shake. I find this is very effective at adsorbing the die off (or at least really helping to minimize die off symptoms).

I will try the cashew butter instead... I have done this diet months now but not the anti fungal part so I guess now im going to try to kill these suckers.. Im going to the dr the 24th and am going to ask for that antibody test you can get done if you have candida.... I am still in the phase right now where I do not eat banana.. But I cant wait to bring back fruit.. I miss bananas so much
Took two huge spoonfuls of coconut oil yesterday and today.. Oh my gosh it hit me today.. I have been in bed all day.. I feel so nauseous and have been running in and out of the bathroom.. I had chills really bad and am starting to get a headache now.
This is day 3 with no nuts or almond butter in diet. And day two with anti fungal's.. I have been pretty clear with the nuts in my diet but not clear enough. I am going to try to cut them out not for the rest of the diet and add in antifungals.. They made me feel so horrible today it's unexplainable..
Still feeling sick from the coconut oil... The endotoxins for the candida are running wild throughout my system I guess. I know breaking out is also a form of detox and my chin has broken out sightly . ... I have been on this diet now 5 months with nuts and not taking anti fungals... So now I am going to do it 5 more months with no nuts no almond butter and tons of garlic and coconut oil. I am going to my Doctor tomorrow and might try to get a prescription for Nystan if he will give me one. Woah... I thought I was beating the candida but little did I know they were still thriving in me somehow.. Just with a lot less symptoms because of the acupuncture and the positive change in my diet. I love fruit and I love the way my life use to be before I was 19 and got on minocycline - tetracycline - amoxicillin... etc... I just want to fix what those antibiotics messed up and get my body functioning normally again. Please if you have any good advice on anti fungals that have worked for you then let me know. Thanks

Great anti-fungals are onion and garlic. I get as much of both in my diet as I can.
You should also try drinking home made chicken broth. Buy a full chicken, I get organic chicken, and slow cook it in a huge pot of water with spices and veggies all day. Chicken broth is amazing for you, and I make it so that it is full of nutrients. It is great for the digestive system and leaky gut.

Yeah I thought it was pretty crazy too.. I am very serious this time about NOT cheating at all because of how horrible my symptoms and die off reaction are. Yeah I just eat fish and veggies.. And shrimp.. I know how boring it sounds but im use to it by now. A typical eating day for me is wake up and either eat salmon or shrimp or both with zucchini and onions. For dinner some kind of fish again with broccoli or spinach. And if I get hungry I snack on broccoli, cauliflower or other veggies. Before this week I was eating a ton of almond butter and nuts. But they have to go too if I am really going to beat this thing. I will def. try the chicken broth thing.. and I might even eat the chicken if its organic and free range. That sounds so good! My symptoms have gotten a lot worse in the past day. My whole chin is broken out just as bad as when I started this log. I'm not sure if I should take more coconut oil or give my self a break. It's crazy because I really was almost clear.. I mean I had weeks where I was 100% clear. And now because of the die off im back at point A...breakouts all over again.. but I know I have to go through this to kill off the candida.. it's just my body causing a immune reaction and releasing histamines. I hope this only lasts a week like everyone says it should. I hear some die offs are long, and some are short. I hope mine is short.

Have you ever thought of green smoothies? Im firmly believing they would be a HUGE benefit to someone like you with an already clean diet. Here is a mock up of what your diet could be.

I am not eating like this forever.. Just till I get my candida under control.. Not to weird you out but here is a web site of what candida looks like when you go to the bathroom and have a 'die off'... which is what mine looked like 2 days ago. Sorry for TMI.. I know this is disgusting but candida is very real. I took antibiotics for years and acne doesn't run in my family at all. Actually everyone in my family has beautiful skin... Everything that I am going through was caused by me by eating antibiotics for over a year period and completely wiping out my good bacterial flora. Now I am just restoring it so I can eat normal again and not like a freak.
I guess the 'break out' stage of the die off has come and gone. It got really bad the first day I took the CO.. but now my skin looks good again. A few minor things going on on my chin but my face is overall back to being 90-95% clear. Every Time I take the CO my tummy gets uncomfortable for a little while but it usual goes away after about 30 minutes. My skin has an overall glow to it (I think from the coconut oil).. Anyone doing this diet take the coconut oil and even if it makes you break out keep taking it because it will go away in about a week. I take about 4-5 spoonfuls a day. And I am trying to still take apple cider vinegar everyday but it just tastes so nasty. I think I am going to have 100% clear skin soon!! I am def heading in the right direction after struggling for so long. If acne is getting you down everyday take a look at what you are eating because to me food is not worth breaking out everyday. I think healing yourself internally is key and your external organ (skin) will show a healthy glow again once you are healthy. It has taken me about 2 years to get this down and finally have it right not depending on topicals or pills to 'fix' my problem but fixing it myself by what I eat, how much I exercise, how much water I drink, and taking anti fungals and vitamins everyday.

My daily consumption of food usually consists of some kind of fish, shrimp, and sometimes other meats but not often. I usually eat broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, zucchini and onion everyday.
I ate bad 10 years of my life, iv been on this diet 5 months. So I think I have about 5 more months till I will be 'balanced' and can add grains back in! Yay!
Still going strong on my diet.. Having candida die offs everyday due to the CO. My next steps are going to be a parasite clense and a liver flush. Here is a good link I found on the other holistic page... After everything I have been through with topicals, antibiotics, etc I must say the holistic approach has worked the best for me so far so here is a great guide line on how to get clear. I have done the diet part as you can tell from my log and the next steps shouldnt be to hard. Cant wait to eat my first apple when I am cured

Bought some symbiotic's colostrum last night and im ordering the parasite cleanse today... Then it's off to the liver cleanse.. I cheated 2 days ago and ate almond butter and got 3 little white heads on the left side of my chin.. Bought some cayenne 500 mg pills and have been taking them the past day... I was fine with them till the last one I just took. It's making my throat feel like it's on fire. Got my derma roller in the mail but im not going to start that till im 100% clear. Wish me luck guys.. I'm 90% and trying so hard to get that 100%.. I think the parasite and liver cleanse is going to get me there.
Also I have been in a great mood.. Feeling happy without acupuncture which is a good sign. I think my candida symptoms (mood swing/depression) are leaving slowly.. Feeling in a great mood, going out a lot, helping the homeless and staying positive
