Acne:

Skin looks good.. Nothing newwwwww!!!!!!!!! I feel very stressed tho so im so glad I have acupuncture in 2 dayss.. !! The new girl I went to treated me for acne and this is the clearest iv been in a LONG time.. Duno if it's from running or acupuncture.. But I am getting great results this week

Acne:

Small painful whitehead coming above my lip.. But other then that im clear.. I ate a tiny bit of black bean soup and it tasted spicy so I really hope I don't hate myself later.. This week I found out that almond butter keeps me sane and full.. Without it I have felt like cheating numerous times.. and already cheated 2 times.. Looks like I will be buying 3 jars for 2 weeks instead of two so I don't run out.. I feel kinda gross eating it like it's ice cream but I am just always so hungry..

Just had to add this because its so awesome!! Woke up today and my chin was 100% clear!!! !~!~!~! Along with the rest of my face .. just old red scars no new bumps!!!!!!!!!!

 

I know my journey is not over!! I am going to try to do this diet for 8 months to a year.. But I just wanted to add I really truly think the reason I started breaking out is because I was SOOOOOOOOO out of BALANCE.. And my face was screaming for me to give my body and mind some attention.. Last semester was the worst 4 months my face had ever scene.. I looked more like a pepperoni pizza then a human.. and when people looked at me they cringed.. I was so out of balance that I would sit in my house all day and all night because I felt so ugly.. I felt to ugly to walk my dogs, to go outside, to go to school and the only thing that was positive was my grades in school.. This semester im taking a completely different turn at the way I live my life.. I am taking out time to exercise, to spend time with friends, to run with my dog, and to cook every single meal I eat. Last semester I lived off of oat meal with lots of honey, raisins, lots of fruits, oat or rice cereal with almond milk and all that bad stuff.. I will interpret those things in my diet in 8 months to a year but for now my skin is worth the sacrifice of my taste buds enjoying life a little bit more.. Now I am enjoying life a little bit more.. Acne is HORRIBLE and I hate it so much... And when I see people with acne I want to tell them what I went through and to go take acupuncture, cut out carbs for a while, exercise, take some taurine, b complex, and vitamins, and just try to stay balanced.. I know my process is not over and I am still not sure if or when another out burst will happen.. But for now my skin looks good. :)

 

Eating some shrimp today with lemon and pepper.. Hopefully no reaction!!

My face looks great however I do feel a couple 'under the neath' pimples on my chin.. One is slightly painful on my left side.. Noone can see them but I know they are there. The ONLY thing I have done different is added in almond butter.. I am thinking I am might have a reaction to the almond butter :(.. Which would stink because I would go crazy without it.. I am going to go get a better allergy test done to see. Oh and I added in the shrimp but im pretty sure it's not that.

Face looks good.. Still feel the 2 on chin but you cant see them.. I wanted to add that when I went to acupuncture the lady told me she felt "dryness" in my pulse.. which means that my stomach is messed up..

 

 

Does anyone know if I eat to much almond butter or walnuts is that bad for me?

Well I dont think it's the almond butter.. I have HUGE exam coming up and am having a big cystic breakout on my chin.. However it's weird because they are all under the skin pimples and hard to see by other people.. But my pretty chin is turning into my old pimpley chin :(

One pimple came out on the chin.. and it hurts.. the others inda went down/you cant see them.. thee are 2 on my right cheek but they are small and painless.. stress=acne.. have acupincture tmrw so maybe she can help

Chin not doing so well duno how any there are but cystic acne forming under the skin.. Pimple abover ride side of lip..literally almost on lip.. And 2 more red spots on right side. :/ Sometimes I wonder if school is worth acne

Went to acupuncture he helped me a lot.. right after a few hours later my chin calmed down a bit.. And I went to yoga which helped.. I have to cram (study at least 5-8 hours a day) for the next few days so the acupuncture and yoga helped but my chin is still breaking out.. No huge complains I mean I am not red and inflamed like I use to be... But I was getting use to pretty skin this little ordeal reminded me of how horrible any kind of breakout is.

Acne:

nothing that I am upset over but there are some 'under the skin' cysts that no one can see.. Right check is clearing up and just 2 red spots now.. Upper lip cleared.. Just tiny red spot.. Chin seems to be the only thing that might do same damage over the next week.. Going running tmrw 100%

popped to cyst things on my chin (sorry for the graphic picture) but my acne isnt as bad as I thought it would be one day before my test.. Hopefully I will clear up after my big test this week!

Big test is over! Chin dont okay.. nothing new and old stuff is going down.. but the texture of my skin hasnt been looking as good as it did like a week ago.. Skin doesnt look flawless by dar.. But the only place that really has any flaws is my chin.. And the tiny pores on my cheeks.. I wish I could get rid of those :(

Acne:

Breakout pretty much going down again.. I did cut my taurine down to 3000 mg or less a day and thats when I broke out so now im back upto 4000 mg or more.. so Im not sure if that was the cause or my tests.. Face is looking good.. Starting to feel pretty again w/o makeup when I look in the mirror. There are 2 small whiteheads on my left side of my ear tho.. Thats it!

I havnt been running as much and I have been eating sugar free candy :( so hopefully I can get back on track and feel good again.

Just an update! I was looking pretty clear so I tried to be brave and add some cream to my decaf coffee.. OPPS! Now I have 2 huge undertheneath pimples (big ones which I use to get but havnt gotten in a while)

 

No half and half for me :/

Hi everyone.. Still on my normal diet.. Normal exercise.. Skin is starting to look really really good when I dont cheat! I feel pretty lately :) When I look in the mirror I dont cringe.. Something I am doing is working.. I still contribute it to my diet, acupuncture, yoga, running and taurine!

Heyheyhey everyone.. Still eating the same old stuff but I did want to discuss what transformation my body has went through from this diet so far. No more yeast infections and my white tongue is gone. BUT I learned if you want to gain weight you should eat

avocados

nuts

almond butter/peanut butter

and seeds!!!

 

That's all the stuff I have been eating and I don't weight more but I do have more fat on my body if that makes sense. I am scared to stay on this diet for longer because I know we need glucose for the process of glycolysis/krebs cycle/ETS which should be your main source of energy. I have been fine this long but I am afraid that if I keep eating like this my body is going to eat all of the glycogen from my muscles and I am going to end up one glob of fat! My body is definitely more 'shapely' now. :/

 

On the plus side.. My face is clear.. Iv had small breakouts but they go away in 2 days instead of weeks.. Just had one Monday and the two pimples are gone already. My skin looks great but there is scarring and pores.. I don't feel 100% perfect which I don't think I ever will.. But hey at least I don't have angry red marks screaming in my face everyday.

 

These are the things I am still doing daily..

1) Food= no carbs besides the ones in veggies and sugar free gum.. sometimes sugar free lifesavers..I eat just the same as all my logs before say.. No meat besides salmon and shrimp.. Veggies ... Avocado..

2) I started shaving my face.. I know its weird since I am a girl but it has cleared up my cheeks almost 100% because it exfoliates them.. my cheeks look pretty :)

3) Acupuncture

4) Lots of exercise daily or at least 3x a week.. Minimum everyone should do is 3 days a week at least 30-60 minutes of cardio with your heart rate above 60.

5) Avoiding the foods that I know broke me out before

6) Washing my face with organic face wash NO chemicals like benzyl peroxide or sulfate.. yuck!!! I also pour clean bottled water into a cup and splash it on my face every time I take a shower or wash my face.. That way the toxins and bacteria in the water don't get on my skin.

7) Still taking about 2000-4000 mg taurine, b-complex, vitamin c, calcium/D3/magnesium

Haven't had a bad breakout in a while now!! Knock on wood.. Skin is pretty clear.. now if I could just get rid of my scars and pores.. I think the taurine powder does work w/ b-complex because when I stopped taking it for a couple days and switched to the pill and not as much I noticed I broke out a little. But it could of been something else.. I'm not sure.. Still sticking to veggies and fish + acupuncture + lots of exercise + lots of water + taurine and b-complex + vitamin D3, C, Iron, and Mg.

 

No my skin still isn't perfect.. but if you are suffering but huge cysts on your face that make you look like a monster I recommend doing what I did for a few months.. I am basically clear now.. Like I said my skin is not perfect but it's getting there :)
