Health:

Ran over a mile and did a hard core workout in the morning

 

Acne:

Red mark under lip calmed down a bit.. never appeared as a white head and is now going down..

Hit the punching bad and did an upper body workout

 

Acne:

Bad breakout on right side of chin.. 2 small pimples on forehead..Diet wise all I have been doing is chewing a LOT of gum.. and I ate a vitamin C.. School maybe stressing me out=breakout? And I do admit I have been thinking about my skin again lately... So maybe I caused it just by thinking about my skin more and comparing me to others.. I just dont understand where it came from!

Made sure to take 2000 mg of taurine alone this morning!! Waited at least an hour or two before I started eating.. Lately I feel like my body is needing some more carbs.. I have been exercising so much and I just feel like I need some.. Even if I get them through prunes or something lame like that lol..

 

Duno what to do!! My nutritionist says I need at least 130 grams a day and 250 if I workout a lot.. I have been so low on energy lately.. My body just feels like it's missing something. If I do decide to eat some carbs which ones should I eat? Fruits which have fructose.?. Or the more complicated carbohydrates like brown rice flower etc.. I did a form and it figured I was only getting 40 grams of carbohydrates out of my 130.. I study A LOT and I need brain food.. But I am scared that I will break out if I go off this diet :/

Acne:

Chin doesn't hurt anymore.. Still inflamed and red on the right side but things do look better since this morning (thanx taurine) .. Taking taurine by itself with the seltzer really helped I think but I'm not sure. I also steamed my face with some extract and got everything out that I could. Still putting the lights on my skin daily which is also helping.. I did eat some salmon the other day that was kinda off tasting so maybe it was farm raised and mislabeled and the hormones broke me out. Drank an espresso shot mixed with decaf coffee at Starbucks so hopefully my skin doesn't hate me for it!

Chin is looking inflamed on right side.. Another pimple that hurts seems to be coming..I think it's school stress that is causing these.

Pimple on left side of forehead... chin has a small few bumps on right side but they dont hurt.. Took the taurine with seltzer 2x without food for at least 1-2 hours.. Use to take it with food but im going to see if this works better. Face still great compared to what it was...

School stress can definitely worsen acne - I always used to get flare ups during exams. Hang in there :) Sounds like you're doing good

Thanks for the positivity :) Yeah I know it has to do with school.. But today I drank an all-americano from starbucks and now I have like under-the-neth cycts on my chin :(.. Like 3 HUGE ones.. Others cant see them but when I wash my face I can feel them.. Not sure if it's from the coffee or stress.. I'm thinking coffee since I got them within a few hours of drinking it and didnt have them this moring!! NO MORE COFFEE!!!!! lol

Pimple on left side of forehead..still there...tried to pop it but noting came out... chin has a small few bumps on right side and one is starting to hurt.. Huge under the neth cyst on left side of chin.. DARN IT COFFEE and STRESS!!! Hopefully the taurine does it's magic and makes them go down this weekend.. I'm going to take an extra 2000 mg tonight with no ood in about an hour + seltzer.

Hey congrats on sticking to your regimen. I hope vitamin c doesn't cause pimples because I usually take a lot haha. Do you use any topicals on your skin? Did you ever have any yeast die off as you progressed with the diet? If you're still thinking about adding carbs back in maybe squash would be an idea? I've really been craving some of that lately...

Thank you!! Salmon and avocados are getting me through the diet.. I am going to try to stay on it for a year if I can. I don't use any tropicals, just face wash that has NO harsh ingredients or oil. When I use any kind of harsh product on my face it usually makes it worse then better. Retina-a/BP gel/lotion tore up my skin a while back and the red light is just now healing what the retina-a/BP did. I notice every time I eat vitamin C I break out.. but maybe it's just a coincidence. I did have white stuff in my stool 3 different times.. And my bowel movements have been very light lately...but I eat a lot of light foods too so I'm not sure. My test results came back negative for yeast but I am just going to stay on it whether its candida or something else. I highly recommend acupuncture... it has changed my life 100%.. I think the taurine has helped also along with using the red/blue lights.. Though my chin is broken out right now my breakouts seem to go away way faster then they use to (1-2 days compared with 1-2 weeks before)

I aggravated pimple on forehead so now its not a pimple just a scab thing.. Chin is doing okay.. It's not clear but I want to wait till morning to see what happens..

 

Edit: Woke up this morning and chin went down SOOOO much.. I think the taurine + b complex + seltzer is making my pimples last a lot shorter period then they use to .. Because before those would of popped up and lasted 2 weeks and left an ughly red mark.. But now they just went down and I can bearly notice them this morning!! Forehead still had the big scab on left side but im not to worried about it.

Acne:

Scab thing is still alive and well on forehead.. Chin is doing okay.. Nothing hurts but still some inflammation and small bumps going down. Left side cyst has gotten small and others cant see it I just feel it when I was my face. Right side of chin looks wayy better than it did yesterday. Small whitehead pimple surfacing on left cheek...But it's very small and im going to try not to mess with it. Face still looks 1000% better then it did before so I am not unhappy with these minor bumps.

 

Mood:

I need coffee to study.. However coffee breaks me out.. So now I guess Ill be studying sober :( Maybe ill try some green tea.. Or some decaf and see if it has a placebo effect on me..

Scab thing fell off.... Chin has cleared a ton.. 2 tiny pimples on left side/chin/cheek .. one is going away and one is starting to hurt a tiny bit.. but it's a small white head. Cyst on chin still unnoticable and a lot smaller.. Something under left side of nose is starting to hurt.

My skin is looking smoother .. I think my digestive system is very messed up because if I stay on this diet I am good.. But if I stary and even drink diet coke, coffee, or eat anything weird then I break out. Havnt strayed in the past 2 days so in turn I have no new pimples.

Forehead=no pimples but used the blue/red light because I felt a slight itchy spot

Chin= No new pimples.. white head is scabbing over that was in chin/cheek area

Right cheek= Tiny whitehead popped up.. but it was so small I barely noticed it

 

I looked at my skin very closely in the mirror tonight and kinda picked at my face (to get blackheads etc out on sides of cheeks) and when I was looking at myself I thought omg there is nothing wrong with my skin! I mean yeah I still have TONS of flaws but it's smoothing over almost like before I had acne.

It's probably the detox of it...or just the caffeine unless it's caffeine-free. Caffeine is a giant acne trigger. I've never had an energy drink in my life and I'm afraid to...

Yeah I noticed I have a under the skin painful one coming on my left side of chin :/.. of course after I drank the caffine.. :( I need some brain food (CHO) or caffineeeeeeee cant wait till the next year is over so I ca have some carbs again.

I also noticed a small pimple on right side cheek tonight when looking in the mirror and forehead has 2 minor bumps.. Chin also had huge cyst in the middle I just felt when I washed my face.. and the other pimple by it that hurts.. My normal acupunctursit is gone right now so I have been going to someone else.. I am starting to think that because my normal one is gone I am breaking out b/c they dont have the same technique. But it could also be that I have many hugeeeeee tests coming up and im stressing.. Or the green tea.. grrrr

(both used with 1 can seltzer and I try to avoid eating for an hour when I take the powder)

 

Acne:

I put green tea extract on my bumps tonight and tried to extract 3 pinprick bumps on my forehead which are inflamed now so they look worse.. And I did the same thing to my chin.. My face is not as bad as it was at all when I talk about these bumps.. they are minor to what I am use to.. I didn't even wear makeup to the hot tub tonight.. (big deal for me) But it might sound worse if you just read it here.. I have 2 cysts that don't hurt and no one can see but they are underneath the skin on my chin. My friend tried my makeup recently and said it gave her cysts so I don't know what to do because I need makeup to cover scars when I go to school etc.. Bump on left side that hurt doesnt hurt anymore and it's going down because I popped it.. However I do have another bump (which I popped also even though it wasn't ready) on right side of cheek by nose.. I know this sounds really bad bad it doesn't look as bad as it sounds.. Yes my skin is worse then it was last week but I got really upsetting news this week and have tons of exams.. Not to mention the caffeine I drank all week. I also think it's because my normal acupuncture was working on all of my issues and the new one I am going to while I am gone just doesn't do the same job as my normal one. Sorry for the long paragraph.. It's been a long day and im still studying :/ Now back to studying.. hopefully the taurine/acupuncture (session tmrw)/exercise kicks in soon.. Oh yeah that's another aspect to look at.. I haven't ran all week.. Which helps metabolize glucose and helps with stress so that could be a factor too.

Went to acupuncture today and had a really great run with a friend. My face already looks a TON better.. My breakout was from stress 100%.. I need to find better balance.. I think I will go running everyday again because I noticed my skin looked good when I did that.. And I didn't run this whole week and then broke out.. My Acupuncturist also treated me for acne today.. She said it was caused my to much heat (stress).. And to avoid it to avoid fried foods, hot foods, stress etc.. She said I Should exercise and meditate to help with it.. Which I am going to try to interpret everyday to see if it helps.

Skin looks good. I had a 'stress cyst' coming in but I ran and did some yoga and it went away. Red bup i popped on left side of face.. Not bad at all though.. Forehead looking good again
