I have no complaints with the Cranberry Cream other than how it spreads. If your skin is not damp, you will have a hard time spreading it around. You don't have to use a lot either because of the water helping it along. It hasn't caused any break outs yet though. The texture is similar to Yoplait's whipped yogurt haha. I've never seen a cream like that, but it's fine by me. I got over the smell too.
Yikes. I did the peel on the entire right side of my face. I made sure to wait until everything was frosted. I have a feeling this will peel more. I sure hope so at least! I was pretty happy with my right side when it came to red marks anyways.
I am starting to drink ACV+water+honey again.
Here is my skin flaking the most!:
Right after the right side TCA peel (You can see all the frosting):
The peel on the right side of my face is like 90% done. There are some parts that still have flakes. I don't know if I see ANY difference on my left side. It's been over a week since I did it , so it's all flake free.
I was told that I should wait a couple weeks till I try the TCA peel again because it will go deeper and that would be scary and risk burns.
No pimples or anything on my skin right now.
I don't think I said I did extra spot treatments on here, but I did. I did the TCA over the spots I thought were the worst on Thursday and they are mostly peeled now. I made sure I waited longer for it to frost, so it would go deeper.
I don't know if I see any difference with my red marks. I do know that I haven't gotten a cystic pimple since that CeraVe mishap .
So, I figured out that instead of getting PMS pimples on my chin, I get a rash like consistency over my forehead and cheeks. It gets itchy and then turns into a ton of little white heads. They are pop able and they have both a white head and black head plug inside. Hmm. They aren't huge or even medium size.
I thought I should describe how my skin looks now. I must have gotten really deep because on my first TCA peel, it didn't turn reddish brown on the second day. It looks like a rusty color over the areas that frosted the most.
I have been breaking out again. It wasn't anything major. It was pretty small breakouts, but they still alarm me a little. I have been using more lotion lately and that might clogging my skin since I have also been experiencing black heads on my face, which is rare.
Here are some unflattering photos. These are right after the TCA peel, like 5 minutes after. I still remember my face throbbing.
You can see how the skin looks like it belongs to an 80 year old woman, haha. It reminds me of dried glue on my face. There is also a section that got deeper and is a reddish brown.
http://fr.tinypic.com/r/2m3gz1w/6 - Today. It was really hard to brush my teeth! I could hear the popping sound of the skin breaking. No pain though. My skin is rippled. Now that I am peeling, it should be much easier to eat. It is so hard to not want to pick off the skin. If I avoid the mirror, I won't do it. No break outs from it.
My skin cracked too much from eating and brushing my teeth, so I ended up with raw and red areas. I put neosporin on them, but the drawback to that is neosporin, aka white petroleum, breaks me out. No big breakouts, just little ones. I still have a long way to go until all the skin is peeled off. I have 4 more days until it will be a week and that is normally when the peeling is done.
The peel is almost over. I have some parts on the side of my face that hasn't peel since it isn't near the mouth/muscles.
I am just glad this peel is close to being done. It was annoying. It wasn't painful, but I like things fast. I'm not sure if I see any difference in my indents. At least it didn't get worse. I guess I would call them rolling scars since they aren't ice picked.
I am all peeled! My skin looks nice. However, I know I'll need to do many more peels before it is completely clear. I got a large cystic pimple forming and I'm pretty sure that is from my cycle. It is only one, so that's good. I put the peel on the zit to try and burn it off since it didn't have a head and wasn't that big. I wonder if it'll work. It looks like some orange spot. Otherwise, my skin looks fine. I am still spot treating the biggest marks on my face with the peel.
The red marks where I spot treated with the TCA peel are turning red/orange now and crusting, so that's good. However, I got three nasty pimples on my chin. One is large and in the crease of my chin. I always get those around that time of the month, but they normally aren't cystic like this one is. The entire head is dark yellow. I'm not popping that. There were two little ones near it and I popped those. I was surprised that it had yellow pus in it also. I'm guessing it was yellow from my cycle. I ate a lot of sugar recently, but I don't know if that could be the reason it was yellow.
Everything else is fine then. After the red marks peel and heal completely, I'll do another full peel.
Ugh. My skin is acting up and I don't know why. I am getting a ton of little white heads on my face. It normally is over my cheeks, but now it is going everywhere. I am guessing it's either from my PCA soap or from the Cranberry Cream. I don't know what's up. I don't think those little zits are from my period because those are normally larger. These are pin sized pimples.
I bought Niacin and should be getting it in the mail soon. It will be interesting to try that out.
I bought some emu oil online today. I always hear rave reviews, so I might as well try it. However, I have heard bad reviews of it wreaking havoc on their skin. We'll see.
I peel some of the skin back on my face and noticed more clogged pores. I am just popping them because they are annoying and small.
Right now, I'm just using Cetaphil to wash during this peel and not using any lotion. I wanted to see if the cranberry cream was giving me clogged pores. I might go back to using lactic peels in the future. Maybe it will help my clogged pores.
