Im so infuriated! Im gonna go punch the living daylights out of my pillow. My insurance company wont cover the Aczone and its not even guarenteed it would work for me since my skin is sensitive. I dont have $154 to spend on acne medicine. URGH, I hate insurance in this stupid country!

I have been reading through some of this thread, I feel your pain, you sound just like me. My acne is terrible, mostly cystic around my jawline. I have blackead, whiteheads you name it. I spend most of my time researching products. Nothing ever really helps, I have tried so many things. Sometimes things may work for a couple of weeks then they stop. Its soo frustrating. My skin is sore most of the time. I hate the way i look.

I am having the worst dermatitis! This winter has been absolutely horrible for me. I feel like Im crawling out of my own skin. I just when to shower and before I hopped in the shower, I looked in the mirror and I had these red lines on my shoulders and back. My whole body is itching! My dr prescribed me this stuff called fluocinonide cream but Im afraid to use it on my whole body. Its a steroid.

My face is not nearly as red as it was last week. Its slowly progressing but there is definitely some improvement

^I should not have written that yesterday. I wrote too soon! I keep on getting cystic pimples. I have one on my temple which is a place I hardly ever break out in anymore. I did in my teen years but I havent had pimples there in along time. I have another one on my chin.

This has nothing to do with acne but it has to do with my skin. I cannot sleep because I have dermatitis all over me.

I have had it through the roof with acne! I am so fed up! Just when I thought things were gonna look up because of these two acne medications, its getting worse. I rarely ever get cystic pimples but Ive been getting them a lot lately. I can feel two huge ones on my chin that are about to form.

I know its bad to fiddle with pimples especially with cysts but this one hurts like a bitch! I cannot stop picking at it. Theres a lot of pus in there. I can feel it. I didnt use my nails. I just sort of pinched it. I know dumb! Now Im leaving it alone. I applied both a hot and cold compress to it. Here is a pic of the ugly thing and my ugly redmarks.

Update: Im wearing everyday minerals today and it looks aweful! It wont cover my zits.

In my twelve years of having acne, I have never had an acne medication work so fast! My cyst is almost gone! It formed a scab and Im not getting many new breakouts. Im getting two pimples daily, the way it should be

Yesterday, my acne really got me down but Im seeing quite an improvement. I have redmarks but they arent as red as before I started epiduo. You really shouldve seen how bright red as a tomato I looked. They are definitely getting lighter. Of course they arent gone because acne doesnt go away over night but I definitely notice an improvement. There are some purple marks but those are gradually fading. I would say my right side of my face looks worse than the left side. There hasnt been much of an improvement though on the zits under my chin. Ive been on Epiduo for four weeks now. Here are some pics. I am not taking full pics though because I dont want people posting my pics on other sites to ridicule.

I have had it through the roof with acne. Just when things are looking up, everything goes wrong! The scab came off of my cystic pimple and now the pimple has started its life all over again! Its like three very deep pustules that wont go away! Then I have another scab that fell off and now its back to being one pustule. What the hell do I have to do to get my skin to heal! Damn it

As much as I like Shisheido I have to stop using it. Ive used it for over a month now and its not keeping my acne at bay. It might be too harsh for me actually. It has fragrance in it which people with sensitive skin should avoid. Tonight, I used MD Skincare All In One Foaming Cleanser for the first time.

Omg, I feel like screaming! This Epiduo really hurts my face! I think it just irritates my skin. It burns like mad! I think Im gonna tell my derm I dont want to take this anymore. This shouldnt be like this. Its been a month and its still burning. Even if I use it every other day, it still burns

I have a few new zits but a lot of them are drying up and I am seeing some improvement. Ive decided to only use the Epiduo for the blackheads on my nose and the aczone my chin and jawline

Great, I have a new papule or cyst on chin! I also am getting breakouts on my cheeks which is a place I dont usually break out, fudge

I just took an aleve since Im allergic to advil and covered my papule, nodule or whatever it is with a band aid.

Ive been thinking about Celexa. I often wonder if Celexa is what causes me to crave sweets all day long and worsening of acne.

If you think your love affair with sweets is due to the Celexa, please talk to your doctor/psychiatrist before even considering stopping the Celexa on your own, ok?

Yeah I have talked to him about it many times. He wants me to stay on it and I can understand why. When my grandma died in 2002, my bf also broke up with me, and I dropped out of college. I cried every single day for hours upon hours. I wanted to die.

Im glad you think my skin is improving. I think so too! Im not getting as many new pimples a day. I still wish it was less though.
