I wish Accutane would have just killed the existing breakouts and not allowed new ones to form for you! I don't get all this initial breakout stuff when it's supposed to be shrinking the oil glands not making them more active! Gosh! I wish you a speedy IB and on to great looking skin!

After all the money and time you have spent trying new things bc you didn't think you could continue using your fav SkinCeuticals, perhaps in the end, the money you spent on the SkinCeuticals would have been worth it?! Are you still taking your Septra? If you are, then you can always go back to your SkinCeuticals cleanser again bc you know it worked SO well and cleared your skin right up in that regimen of cleanser, mask, Septra.
One thing you have going for you is the fact you found a wonderful regimen that works, so you don't have to get really bad and frustrated not having something that works. Then after you're clear, you can do the whole try out one new product at a time thing so you don't overwhelm your sensitive skin with too many new variables.

These two cleansers are pretty much the same price. The Dior is one dollar more but the reason I stopped using the skinceuticals is because I kept running out of it after one month and a lot pores out when I open the bottle. Plus, I can only get it on the internet which is also a pain because I gotta pay for shipping plus wait for the product. It gets to be too pricey with the shipping. Oh and no, I havent been on Septra for a couple of months now. I dont want anymore antibiotics in my system anymore. Im tired of them.

Ooooooooooo ok I wasn't sure if you stopped the Septra or not. If your skin is simply breaking out bc of your period, it will clear back up again shortly. I'm just happy that you know there is always your derm who has worked with you in the past and who knows your skin well. So if you were to have another major problem, he could quickly correct it. It's a really nice feeling when you don't need to rely on antibiotics too. It's nice to know they work, but it's nicer when you don't need them.
I totally agree with you about the skinceuticals getting too pricey bc of shipping and handling! I wish they would sell it in stores other than all the way at your derm's office or online! But since it's too thin a consistency, pouring out too easily, it's prob better you find another one that works just as well but is more convenient for you to use and purchase.
I'm always amazed when I read your log and you have reactions to new products like your makeup you had to stop using. Your skin really is very sensitive! It makes it more difficult to find products that you love AND can wear for sure!
I hope Dior does the trick for you!
I break out pretty much every single day but it definitely is worse before and after my period. It also was for sure a waist of money purchasing the skinceuticals cleanser and then it would only last me a month because of spillage. It really sucks that I have to be so careful about what I apply to my skin. I mean I used the St Ives Apricot Scrub and nearly two years after, I still have those blackheads all over my nose and Im starting to notice them on my forehead too! I never had blackheads until that cleanser. Oddly, I have blackheads and a lot of pimples, but my skin is extremely dry not oily. I also have to be careful about what I use on the rest of my body too because if I dont, I itch like mad. I think Im allergic to citric acid because whenever I use a body wash that contains it or a cleanser for my face, I itch like crazy and it turns into a rash. Make up wise, I think Im allergic to bismuch oxychloride among other things which I am not aware of break me out. Thank you! I hope that Dior works well too. This new cleanser Im using is a gel cleanser. I will have to give it a month before I decide whether I like it or not I started on August 30th so on September30, I will review it.
Update: The Dior moisturizer works well, but unfortunately I am almost out of it. It cost $50 and I havent even used it for a month! It moisturizes well, in fact the best out of the all the moisturizers of used but I wont be repurchasing. Its just too expensive for it to only last this short duration of time. The cleanser I probably will repurchase. Its been almost a month and I still have most of it left 
I am breaking out as usual, but I certainly am not breaking out as much and there are less pustules and papules 
I'm sorry, Molly. =[ What anti-acne meds are you on? I have a hard time with moisturizers, too. Cerave is the only one that's worked for me.I havent gone to the dermatologist since I used those benzo pads so Im not on any acne medication at the moment

I know that it is difficult to get access to the products that worked for you - but I really hope you consider going back to the skinceuticals cleanser and the bp that was working for you. You went through a great time of having your skin clear up then, and I bet even without antibiotics, it will help get your skin back in order!

That cleanser is great but it doesnt last long enough and even though it has SA in it, it doesnt help my incredibly clogged pores on my nose. . It turns out this one isnt lasting long enough either and I wont be repurchasing.

I've had the same bottle of cleanser for probably close to 3 months now and it's still about half full. How much are you using every time you wash your face? And how often are you washing your face?
Oh, and also what Mario Badescu cleanser were you using? I thought all of them had SLS in them and I remember you saying you were sensitive to it..

Erica, dont say things like that. I do not "hate you" for crying outloud! I dont even know you! There have been times Ive gotten mad at you (I often get mad at people because I am very sensitive) as have you with me but I do not hate you. I dont even know you in person.
The cleanser comes in a tube and its 5oz and no, the Mario Madescu one I have doesnt have SLS. Ive been using a small pea sized amount, but unfortunately, sometimes the tube runs
Today I had a horrible make up day! I still use EDM but today I wanted to wear Estee Lauder Double Wear. I tried applying it and then putting everyday minerals concealer on it and natural reflections light finishing powder. It turned out all cakey and all my blackheads were seaping through. I had to redo my make up three times! The third time I decided to only wear everyday minerals and the blackheads were still seaping through! Ive had these blackheads for like two years now thanks to that horrible St Ives Apricot Scrub. I honestly cannot get rid of them. There are a hundred of them! At work, two people asked me what the grey things on my nose were. That is so embarressing! I told one of them to shut up and to not draw attention to my acne. People are so insensitive.
Since I used to show pictures on this log of my second degree burn, Id like to post another picture of how it looks. Its looking really aweful! It has these red spots on them and I dont know what they are. They look like blood spots!

As of today, I am not breaking out as much. Clogged pores are really what are bothering me now though. My forehead used to be clear and now Im getting clogged pores there too
On a positive note, I listened to the advice of people here and I stopped eating ice cream. I eat it but not very often. I used to buy big cartons of it at the grocery store but I stopped. It has helped dramatically in my skin and I lost six pounds that I desperately needed to lose 
I woke up this morning and the pores on my nose looked incredibly clogged and they were dark black. Im pretty sure they are blackheads Kim. Anyway, I used this product I had picked up at the mall a few months ago. I use it once a week. Its a peel. Since Im almost out of my skinceuticals clay masque, I decided to purchase the dior one and have started using it once a week also.
Last week I had watched this youtube video by EncorMakeUp where he talked about a ratio of one part glycerin and three parts water to create a mixing medium. Ive been trying it and it works. Ive also been using it as my moisturizer. Im almost out of my dior moisturizer so Im just gonna use this glycerin water instead of dishing out a ton of money for that moisturizer.
