Oooh I love apple pie, and cherry pie. In fact name any sort of dessert type food and I like it. I wouldn't mind having a sweet tooth if I didn't also love all things savoury too ;)

I really can't think what the itching could be, it looks like you've got all the bases covered in terms of the pillowcase and using products recommended by your derm and if it was an allergy surely the hydrocortisone would have helped.

lol about what you wrote regarding desserts and pies. In fact, I am eating a slice of my apple pie for breakfast again. I bought all sorts of delicious desserts at trader joes on Friday. I also bought tera misu (sp?)

Maybe I am just allergic to the air. I did not enjoy my walk to work yesterday. It was windy and cold and my skin clearly doesnt agree with this weather

Im gonna go back to sleep now. I was just waking up to eat my apple pie, take my antidepressants and my cefadroxil. I also wanted to see if anyone had posted anything under this topic

My skin doesn't like winter weather either (well, at least winter weather in the bay area). I think for me its the increased humidity and all the rain that causes problems. I want another dry winter like we had last year!! :D

Hey,

I checked out your newest photo today, and I would have to agree with you that your skin has not improved enough for you to be happy with your current regimen; that is, unless your doctor specifically says it is supposed to take longer than the elapsed period of time. We will have to wait and see what he has to say at your re-scheduled appointment. Hopefully, you will be able to get in to see him when you request.

Once he looks at your face, he will probably give you something for the itchiness too. There has to be some good moisturizer/lotion/cream specifically for dry, irritated skin. I think at this point it's best to just wait and see what he suggests.

Have a good day!

Im gonna call his office tomorrow and maybe reschedule the appointment for nest Monday which will be my day off from work. I really am not happy with my skin and I think another thing I need to do is stop wearing foundation. I really wonder if there are comedogenic ingredients in the prescriptives foundation. It probably isnt helping with the itchiness and redness and might be exaccerbating my acne.

I popped a new zit and a whole lot of pus came out. It was pretty nasty! Can cysts have pus? This zit is huge around and its really red. It was just too painful to not pop and it had a small head to it

Its so embarressing to have a face like this. A nursing supervisor asked me tonight what happened to my face and she asked me if Ive tried proactiv. I said it doesnt work for me. She goes, "Really? I thought it does" I go, "It didnt for me. The thing is Jessica Simpson and Cameron Diaz were on Accutane also. They do not tell you that on the infomercials and thats a major part of why they are clear. Plus they only have mild acne to begin with"

Im crying my eyes out. Im under a lot of stress at work. I got in trouble today.

Hey~

I just checked out your new photo. Now for some reason, your skin looks much calmer today. It might be the fact you said it's dry without the moisturizer so that is hiding the true redness of the spots, but the spots that were having a party on your right side seem to have gone home, or passed out or something lol because they look a lot less naughty! Sure I see that one spot, but they look like they are resolving themselves. I could be wrong in the light because certainly YOU see them up close!

I couldn't find the ingredient list of Prescriptives online, so I wrote them an email to see if they could help me with one. I'll let you know when they send it to me, but I wanted to know too. I do have that makeup even though I only use it on spots actually. It would, however, be nice to know what's in it because I threw away the box, which I'm sure had the list of ingredients on it.

Just as a side note, your eyebrows have a nice shape to them. They must be easy to pluck because you don't have to re-shape them. And, you have a dainty-shaped nose so that nose ring/stud looks nice. I don't know if I would like it on a large nose or a really long nose, because that might draw more attention to a feature I would want to try to not bring attention to lol, but I would have to see the nose first I guess. Wow, I guess that made no sense to you, but it did to me. Anyway, Christina Aguilera has a nice little nose ring too that looks good on her, as does Kelly Clarkson.

Update us all on your itchy skin and how it's doing tonight at work!

Hope work was good for you. Ciao!

My face has been dry with or without moisturizer. I still have a lot of redness on my right side in addition to red marks. I also am getting quite a few new pimples everyday and my cheeks are still bright red! It looks like I have rosacea but it doesnt feel like it. My cheeks are not burning or anything. They just hurt. \

OMG thank you for writing to prescriptives. Thats awesome! Hopefully, they will write back to you shortly and I sure as hell hope they dont tell you its a secret and that they cannot tell you what the ingredients are.

Awww, youre sweet! Im glad you like my eyebrows and my pug nose. Actually the reason I pierced my nose is because I do not like my turned up nose. I thought piercing it would make me like my nose better and it has. I really like Kelly Clarkson. Shes one of my favorite singers. Christina Aguilera I like but not as much as Kelly.

My skin is still pretty itchy and red. I will put the baby oil on again before I go to sleep which is gonna be pretty soon.

Thanks, work wasnt fun today. I just sent you a pm with more details

So this baby oil I used last night helped me. My skin is still red and itches but it has subsided a little bit. It also was very moisturizing and so far I dont have a new pimple this morning. I also rescheduled my derm appointment yesterday for next monday at 3:00pm

I remember that Emu-Oil Thread and just wanted to warn you of something. You seemed interested in it, but if you have allergies to birds I don't recommend it... I can eat chicken and stuff but being around a bird makes me sneeze. So I thought that as long as the product didn't contain feathers I'd be fine... but it made me break out horribly. >_< Just wanted to share information. Most people don't seem to get allergic reactions...

I decided not to buy it anyway. Its too expensive. Its like $13 for a 4oz bottle. I dont think thatd even last me a month. Thanks for the heads up though. I dont use most oils on my skin as most oils make me break out. This baby oil isnt comedogenic though and it doesnt contain any parts of an animal

Yeah, baby oil is basically 100% mineral oil. It's in a lot of facial creams~

Yes like Ponds make up remover for example lol I used to use it. I didnt like it though. It made my face greesy.

You know honestly I love the taste of meats and animals, but I always feel sorry for the animal that was killed. I would totally love to be a vegetarian but my family and I tried it a few times and we just couldnt do it. It made us extremely lethargic.

P.S.^sorry for the randomness. I just thought Id throw that in there 🙂

Don't cry Molly! :comfort:

I'm having a bad time at work recently too so I can sympathise. And I would have thought that your colleagues would know by now that you're sensitive about you skin and they shouldn't make stupid comments like 'oh proactive worked for Jessica Simpson blah blah blah'. Stupid colleagues!

Mmmm chocolate, I eat far too much of it. Especially when I'm at work because if I get down I use it to pick myself up.

I'm going to Spain for the next week so I don't think I'll be able to post until I get back but I'm thinking of you and keeping my fingers crossed for your derm appointment.

Hugs and love ;)

Hey Molly, I was just thinking about going to Trader Joe's, and I thought of you. lol! Maybe it's because you're always going on about how you get this and that from that store. I've never been there before (it looks like I've been missing out), so I was checking out their online flyer and one of the things that looks interesting is the gluten-free pancake made of several different grains. Have you ever tried it? Is it good? What would you recommend? :D

Yes Ive tried those pancakes! They are delicious! Also buy their chicken stripped which you can put in the toaster oven and buy their already made chicken salad with cranberries and wallnuts

Thank you for comforting me. That means a lot to me. I need it.

Maybe next time I should just flat out say. I am very sensitive about this issue. I do not feel like discussing it with you. I eat anything sweet when Im down in the dumps especially chocoate, pie, and ice cream.

Oooo, have fun on your trip and when you get back, pm me telling me all about how much fun you had 😀 I will make sure and update on my log here how my derm appointment goes on Monday.

My face fucking hurts and itches still. Its bright red and it looks like someone abused me by slapping me all over my face 🙁

Molly: Seems like a strange question, but are you allergic to peanuts?

You mean skin wise? Im not allergic to them but I do break out when I eat peanut and peanut butter. I rarely ever eat peanuts though so that certainly isnt it

I was wondering because I've recently started breaking out with my Jojoba after stopping my BP application... So I did some research on the chemicals found in Jojoba and learned that there's Arachidic Acid. Arachidic Acid being a derivative from peanut oil. So I'm wondering if my breaking out isn't partly because of Jojoba. My breakout to Emu-Oil was easy to spot out... But now I'm worried about Jojoba because of the Arachidic Acid...

I used Desert Essence Jojoba Oil. It was horrible for me! I had used it as a moisturizer one night and when I woke up in the morning, I had ten cystic pimples all lined up in a row under my chin. Ive told that story a million times on here but I dont know if youve seen it lol

My face is still pretty red and itchy this morning despite using baby oil. However, some of my zits have healed quite nicely, finally. I hope I dont get anymore massive breakouts
