Tea tree oil, about $5-7 depending on sales( lasts about 4 months)

Aloe Vera gel $7 ( about 7-8 months)

Neutrogena moisturizer $9.50 (8-9 months)

Dan's AHA ... Like $18? I don't even know cus it lasts forever lol!!

Tea tree oil soap $5 (7-8 months)

Paula's Choice BHA $16 I think (about 6 months, and she ALWAYS has sales so you can stock up!)

For makeup I do:

Eye-liner $.99 ... Woo!

Mascara $7

Blistex deep renewal chapstick $1.50

Gloss, like $2

Eye shadow, like $4

I don't splurge on makeup cus I don't wear it enough lol I prefer a natural look and fresh skin, I can't stand foundation or powder anymore. The only thing I like is MASCARA, so I'll have fun and go wild there, for big dark eyelashes ... So fun

Where do I begin? I don't even remember the price for most of the stuff I use. The cheapest ones are aloe vera gel, honey, tea tree, oregano oil, and lemon juice which I sometimes use topically.

I use Mineral Fusion products which are all relatively cheap ($7-$15 dollars for a scrub and toner). But then I also use more expensive stuff from Image cosmetics because they use mostly natural ingredients that don't break me out. The Image cleanser I use costs around $25-27 dollars.

Cover FX SPF primer - $30 (normally $36, I got a discount but still SO expensive)

Various drugstore concealers, from $7-$12 (still haven't found one that matches my skintone)

Smashbox Liquid Halo foundation - $42 (now I know where my paycheck goes, lasts about 2 months if I use it regularly)

Backup foundations - Bourjois healthy mix foundation - $12 (lasts a long time), Lilly Lolo mineral foundation - $18, Meow cosmetics finishing powder - $16 (lasts a long time)

Boscia blotting paper - $10

Desert essence lip balm - $3, Chanel lipstick - $18, Buxom lip glosses - free with sephora points

Eye creams and concealer - usually free samples I get from the mall cos I never have enough money left for those

Now I know why I'm poor. I won't even mention the $ I spend on facials.

PS. I don't use all this crap on my face at the same time...these are just things I have and use from time to time.

Do you like primer? I've never used it before. How helpful do you think it is?

moisturiser: about 14 USD (5 months)

face mask: 5 USD (a few months)

shy.gif I seem to have a problem! lol. And I didn't even add everything to that list. But I also use a lot of samples.

About primer...I think that a good foundation shouldn't need primer, just a good moisturizer. Unfortunately, if you have dry or oily skin or visible pores, you might need a primer more than a moisturizer. The primer I use can also work as a moisturizer with spf, so at least it's multitasking. It helps my foundation last longer, that's about it.

Free on a day where I don't care about how my face looks :P

I'd say 100$ on days where I do care, I have a lot of high end makeup and when I want to cover my skin I go mad with the makeup.

EEK...figured I'd chime in. I know this is an old thread, but I figured I would go ahead and do a post just so I can pull my hair out later when I look at the numbers and the spending, lol.

Makeup Remover: $40 (Lasts forever though)

Cleanser: $4.00 (Big thing of Johnson & Johnson Head to Toe Baby Wash-this will be lasting me awhile)

Toner: $16.00-about 3 months

Moisturizer: $40.00, $26.00 (I use two) will last about 6 months

Eye Cream: $50.00 (sheesh) about 3 months

Foundation: $22.00, $24.00 (I'm using two different ones) will last about 6 months

Primer: $21.00- 6 months

Powder: $25.00, $38.00 (I use two different mineral powders for both oil control and concealer)

Eye Shadow....Um...I have quite a bit. Probably best not to put a number on this for fear that the hubby may be looking over my shoulder one day....neutral.gif

Lipstick/gloss: Yeah...we won't even go there, either....crazy.gif

I have heard Vit c is good for your face, so decided to give this a try. I like how my face

feels when I use it, but I haven't noticed much of a difference in fine lines or wrinkles. Maybe

it will with longer use. The one i got from Amazon is Triple Action Vitamin C Serum by VoilaVe only cost less then 30 dollar (on Sale).
