Yes, I did try PRP and did a few sessions. However, I did not try PRF. Im not certain what that is but Im guessing its a derivative of PRP. The problem with taking my own blood and spinning it and injecting it is I have a few auto immune diseases and am not the healthiest person so I dont think that was the best choice for me.
Just adding a couple recent pictures and two of my sweet kittens to make you smile . The pics arent the best quality so I will take some close ups of my skin outside in natural sunlight and post in the future as well. We all know that this condition looks dreadful in sunlight. The only damage that remains is some hypopigmentation on the outer left side of my cheek (in the picture posted) which is a result of being inflamed for so long. But since I am usually so pale it isnt noticeable.
@yola4 have you noticed that after damage your skin was more senstive to sun? I mean you get quickly red after few minutes on direct sun. Has stem cells treatment helped with that?

So while I was damaged I was permanently red 24/7, and I could not stand sunlight. If I was in the sun it would feel like I was being burned and would turn me even redder. Now, after stem cell treatment I can go to the beach and lay out and tan with no issues at all just as I did prior to the damage. My skin basically reverted back to its former pre damaged state. The only damage left behind is a small area of hypopigmentation on my outer left cheek but Im naturally pretty pale so its not very noticeable.

Ive had several people reach out asking me exactly what my treatment plan was. All I knew was the basic information: IV stem cells, stem cell injections, PRP, ultherapy, and stem cell injections again. Also there were stem cell masks involved. I had all of this minus the Ultherapy done to my scalp as well as my face as I had some thinning of my hair due to stress. The injections into my face were done every 1/4 to 1/2 inch, and I wont lie it was quite painful especially because my skin was extremely damaged and sensitive. I attached my treatment plan below for anyone interested. I hope everyone is doing well!
Hey everyone! I am so glad to be getting so many messages from those damaged who are planning stem cell treatment! It makes my heart happy that my journey is making a difference in the lives of others. So far theres been 5 people who Ive spoken to that are planning stem cell treatment in the near future, and I hope those of you who are will update this thread with your story, your treatment, and as well as your recovery! I tried to update the title of this thread to Orange peel over exfoliation Success Story, in hopes that more people would find it, but I couldnt figure out how to do so. Maybe in time, I will create a new thread when my busy schedule allows.
Ive attached an angled BEFORE photo showing the strange marks that appeared all over my chin, cheeks, and forehead. My forehead had these weird large indents too which were probably from the skin being thinned (however it looked thickened). My cheeks had weird scarring similar to my chin as well as what looked like ice pick acne scars covering it. I had an overall shiny, crinkly red-orangey look. Its so strange to wake up to marks appearing all over your face. But as Ive said time and time again, the biggest motivator for me was the constant pain and inflammation I was in.
Ive also attached a FB photo as well as a comment from a friend of mine. My friend had no idea I went through such hell with my skin as I isolated myself from everyone except immediate family. So her comment made me so happy inside. Im attaching it because I feel its important not to over analyze photo results as a simple change of lighting and angles and you can go from looking like you have bad skin to amazing skin. I feel like commentary from someone who has seen me in all different lighting situations holds more value than any photo I could ever post. Ive seen it time and time again, on these threads, where people will say they see 60% progress from treatments and upload some great after treatment photos, then down the road they will update better quality photos just to say they didnt get any improvement from said treatment.
Keep in mind that Im almost 1.5 years post damage now. It was so important to me to wait over a year to inform you guys. A constant on my thread is keeping information quiet until I know that it definitively works and this is because I was so desperate during my research that if I saw someone say they were healing Id immediately jump to try whatever it was they were doing. And inadvertently damaging my skin even more from so many different skincare regimens and treatments. I want to be as candid as I can with you guys because traveling to foreign places and getting non FDA approved skin treatments is SCARY!!! Especially in my case as it was during a war, but you can probably already surmise that Im slightly crazy .
Anyhow, now you can see that my peers also think that my skin is in pretty great shape. And what a strange thing it is to go from one extreme to another from severely damaged skin to skin that others aspire to have. A crazy mix of emotions but the biggest is being humbled by it all, and realizing to never take life for granted. I wish you all the best!

Hi, I am currently doing PRF as it is cheaper than stem cells so I will see if it make difference in long term or not. So far I did few PRF sessions. Definetely if someone is going to to stem cells treatment please let us know.
@Evewaddell do you remember what treatment protocol the doctor used? It was somehow different than protocol @yola mentioned in previous post?

Have u been in contact with them since then and told them that youve not healed? They basically promised me that they would work with me until I healed, but I paid $20 K so that might be why. Perhaps if u havent healed maybe there is something else health wise/internally going on with you as you mentioned. They did IV stem cell treatment for me because I have rheumatoid arthritis and Hashimoto's autoimmune diseases so they knew it would be harder for my body to heal itself. Did Mediland do bloodwork on you prior to treatment? They did for me just to make sure I didnt have any other underlying issues that could be adversely affecting the skin barrier issues. I definitely did not have rosacea induced by Retin A simply an over exfoliated skin barrier. You could literally see the demarcation lines running down my cheeks from over exfoliating as I had about 3/4 of an inch of normal skin on my outer cheeks. But, of course, two different dermatologists diagnosed me with rosacea and simply would not listen to me when I told them what caused it. They saw redness, inflammation, rough and irregular skin texture and they automatically assumed rosacea. The rosacea creams they prescribed me set me on fire and made my skin condition much worse. And then a different dermatologist said it was eczema which it was not either and this time I was smart enough to only try the eczema cream once. One and done because it also burned my skin.
Now Im not saying that your issue isnt rosacea induced by peel. Im just saying that I know mine definitely wasnt. The outcome for her is still confusing to me because if it was indeed rosacea for her, Mediland treats and heals so many skin conditions/diseases including rosacea so Im still lost on her lack of results. Hopefully she can come back and answer my questions. When I tell you that my skin starting coming alive again within days of stem cell treatment, Im not exaggerating. I could see it getting healthier each day and by 3-4 weeks I was back to being me again. It was kind of miraculous tbh. I know I had two guardian angels with me every step of the way.

no, PRF is not so painful (at least for me). Currently I can not say it is no helping, but still I have some redness on my face. Also I am doing vbeam laser for redness (unfortunately I was rosacea prone before peel so I was always little more red on cheeks). Probably if vbeam or PRF will not make big difference I am willilng to do stem cells treatment in future.

No, it was before the damage. I had some acne in my 20s and some residual redness from it so I had a V beam session. It decreased the redness by about 50%.

I did not have an IV done or anything of that kind. They only did exosomes, Mesenchymal and neural crest injection. I was there 2 days. Within 2 months of working with my ND (it was Dr. Michael Jurgelewicz) my bloodwork came back normal and I no longer had joint flare ups. If its internal than you are most definitely in good hands.

You want to give up and throw in the towel, but if I can heal then the rest of us can too if we keep at it until we find the right plan/treatment for us. Thank you for your message. I appreciate your response. No they did not run any blood work . Just promised me I will be fixed but then when I arrived and had it all done and went home Olga told me that my skin didnt show any signs of rosacea when I was there and my skin looked fine. She told me its internal. Yet she still took my money when I arrived. I dont trust them anymore. If they cared enough they would have told me hey your skin doesnt show damage we dont want to give you treatment and false hope itll work. But they didnt do any of this just told me afterwards. I had a lot of testing done including gut testing, toxicity, heavy metals, deficiencies. Only thing I found was gut dysbiosis, candida infection thats active, possible mold which Im still being tested for and elevated T3 that keeps going up and then down. Still uncertain about the thyroid. I really have lost a lot of hope. Im pregnant right now so I cant do any detoxes etc.

My skin burns, flushed almost purple when stressed or when I go out in the heat. Its horrendous. Turns very blotchy. I have no tried beta blockers because Im currently pregnant

They didnt do bloodwork?! Thats crazy to me. Idk why they did such drastically different things with us. They said your skin looks fine but then recommended more treatments?! Hmm thats very strange. With me, they said my skin looked much worse in person and that the pictures didnt show the true extent of the damageneedless to say, that didnt make me feel so good.
Yes, when my card declined for 3 days in a row (I kept going back and forth with my bank), they kicked me out of the hotel that they had me booked in as they were footing the bill for it. But I get it.Business is business. All I know is my personal experience, and I honestly owe my life to them because I probably (no most likely) wouldnt be here today without those treatments. If I hadnt healed after losing my family I would have lost my sanity from being so depressed and isolated. My parents were basically the only ones who saw me during the 6 years of damage.
The ND taught me that your health really starts with your gut so any gut issues can cause an array of different problems. If you dont already, take a probiotic everyday. Dont lose hope. There has to be a reason why you didnt respond to stem cells, and I know you must be bitter (because I know I would be too) but businesses will always take your money for services provided. Even when they completely botch you like you see all over Realself reviews. What stuns me is Mediland not working with you to help you more considering you didnt heal. I mean they could have easily told you a list of things to go get tested for and told you that once you found the underlying reason they would formulate a better plan of action and treat you again. Have you asked them if you were to get another treatment if they would discount it considering you didnt heal the first time around? Im not saying to go back to them Im just curious how they would respond to that? Id be pissed as well and wouldnt leave them alone until they agreed to help me more. Its completely unfair.

I thought in my mind, well if I do two trips then they have to hold accountability for it if it doesnt work the first time around. Just make sure you follow all the directions he/she gives you. Did the naturopath get you tested for intolerances, deficiencies, etc? Does he/she have you on a specific diet? Within 2 months of working with my ND (it was Dr. Michael Jurgelewicz) my bloodwork came back normal and I no longer had joint flare ups. If its internal than you are most definitely in good hands.

You want to give up and throw in the towel, but if I can heal then the rest of us can too if we keep at it until we find the right plan/treatment for us. Just promised me I will be fixed but then when I arrived and had it all done and went home Olga told me that my skin didnt show any signs of rosacea when I was there and my skin looked fine. Even when they completely botch you like you see all over Realself reviews. What stuns me is Mediland not working with you to help you more considering you didnt heal. I mean they could have easily told you a list of things to go get tested for and told you that once you found the underlying reason they would formulate a better plan of action and treat you again. Maybe after pregnancy try beta blockers (Carvedilol) and PRF or PRP (they are cheaper and more available than stem cells) and you will see. How long are you after damage? If I were you I would not try any laser as Vbeam or IPL at least 2 - 3 years after damage. Usually first 2 or 3 years are worst, skin is more sensitive, more red, etc. Which moisturizer are you using now, have you tried Avene Tolerance Control cream?

Ive spent $6000 in Ukraine to have the best stem cells injected into my skin for it not to do anything so I know better now unfortunately. Im definitely not trying any laser either. Its terrifying. This is an internal issue for sure because if topicals dont work, then it has to come within. I dont use any creams at all because everything aggravates my skin. The only thing I can use it a small layer of organic beef tallow balm thats it.
