Yep, it can happen, especially when you lay low after taking a pill. It should heal in few days, maybe one week. Flax seed oil and aloe vera helps when linning of stomach is damaged, I would recommend it. I don't think it will work for esophagus, but just in case if linning somewhere lower was damaged also.
