Hey guys.
So I just got to my 2 month mark on Amnesteem. I was on 40mg for a little over a month and my doctor upped the dosage to 80mgs once a day for the rest of my course. Well, I had a bit of an "IB" (initial breakout) when I first got on the medicine. But, after a couple weeks now of taking the increased dosage (80mg) I am breaking out worst than the IB. I have seven cysts right now all on my chin and three are right next to each other making it look like I seriously have a mountain on my face. I am very unhappy about this. I would like to know if anyone else had a really bad break out when they had a increase in their daily dosage??! My spring break starts on Friday and all I want to do is hide under a rock until my skin looks better. Very discouraging when you had clear skin on 40mg a day and then get increased and your skin is back to square one....
Im on round 2 80mg, finished my 2nd month, and my breakouts are HORRIFIC. They are cystic and painful, and I am at a loss right now. I worry I'm just suffering for nothing and my zits will never go away. I thought being on a higher dose round 2 would cure me but right now my skin looks like the Predator unmasked.
I understand. I am 3 and a half months in and I am still breaking out consistently. My breakouts are worse now than they were before I went on accutane. I am almost regretting going on this drug. I graduate from college Sunday and my face is a mess and I can't stop crying
