Swollen Cheeks (Epiduo)

Hi, I was given Epiduo samples by my derm the other day. I didn't think it was a really strong cream since that wasn't really the reason why I went to see my derm. He included my other skin problems which was nice. Anyway, stupid me, I'd assumed that using it twice in a day wouldn't hurt and I also applied a generous amount.

Minutes after applying it the 2nd time that day, my cheeks have become red. I didn't think much of it, but the next day, my face seem to have developed hives and it's become a little swollen. Then as the day progresses, it's become more swollen and irritated. I thought that it may disappear the next day so I just kept washing it and putting on moisturizer.

The 3rd day (which is now), my cheeks are extremely swollen. They are dry and painful from constant friction (washing, etc). They aren't as red as they were, but now they are bigger.

Do I really need to seek medical help or can I just treat this at home?

If you're not having breathing issues then you may be able to wait it out. If this does not go away within a week, please see your doc.
