I am on my 10th day of isotretinoin (40mg/day) and I have noticed that at about day 7, dry skin has started to appear. I am getting a few new pimples, which I expected. I was wondering that since dry skin is inevitable, does it solely cause more pimples to form during the usage of this pill? I am using a face moisturizer but I am worried that dry skin could be the reason for pores being clogged. Is moisturizer even all that necessary or should I keep on using it even though I'll still have dry, flaky skin? Please reply and thanks!
