So. I am a 17 year old who has struggled with acne. Im on Accutane. I weigh 180lbs about 82kg. I am on 3rd month of accutane. First and second month at 10mg. 3rd month at 40mg. I exercise 5 times a week with a very healthy diet. I went for blood test and about 6 hours after they call me and tell me to stop treatment immediately because of elevated liver enzymes or something like that. Haven't got the full lab report back yet. I go to the doctor in a couple of days to reevaluate.
Why might my lab reports come back bad?
How can a healthy persons liver be effected by such a low dose for my weight?
Any other suggestions or things to mention to the doctor would be great.
Cheers.

Just to clarify I think they meant liver enzymes. And wouldn't it be pretty serious is they call 6 hours after the blood test?
I had the same issue on my last course with my liver enzymes in the 400 and 500 range. It could mean your liver is not processing accutane well for whatever reason. No one can say for sure why that is unless you're messing with your love vet by drinking, etc. your dermatologist could try lowering your dose back to 10 mg
