hi everyone
I am about to come off my course of roaccutane which has worked wonders for my acne but now I have tons of really large pores that almost look like icepick scarring. It's strange because my acne was all over my chin and forhead and hardly ever had any on my cheeks so I'm not sure why it is my cheeks that have been left scarred.
These photos don't really show how bad it is to be honest but it is VERY noticeable! And I'm not just being paranoid lol I've asked a couple of very close friends to be totally honest with my and they have said it's noticeable but obviously do the kind-friend thing and tell me not to worry about it..but it is making me feel pretty low. Strangely since the weather has started to become a bit hotter it has improved..it was WAY worse in winter but I would still love to get it sorted if possible. Does anyone think IPL or fraxel could help and if not then anything else maybe?

Can i ask the duration of your course and your dose?
secondly my cheeks look EXACTLY the same and it is freaking me out
Im finishing my 5th mnth and may continue an additional mnth or 2
Like you my main issue pre tane was under cheekbones and sides of face and if I did break out..it didnt leave any indentions like i have now..I have indentions places i dont even remember ever breaking out..has me bummed...it is primarily my cheeks
Is your Dr planning on putting u on retin-a after treatment
I think that would be the first step as far as possibly smoothing the skin
Im hoping some of the indentions look worse because of dehydration and dryness from tane and once i get off they may plump up a smidge
Ive heard you must wait 6 mnths after tane to do any sort of peel/ipl/bbl etc
