I've been using epiduo since the beginning of november. I was using the minocyclin antibiotic too until 2 weeks ago I gradually stopped them. For a week my face was fine. Then I went snowboarding and the next day my face looked like a red desert. Since then I've got a little breakout and huge scars that don't seem to heal. I'm considering to stop epiduo because I don't want my face to rash everytime I go outside for long periods of time. I also moisturize twice sometimes three times a day! Something has to be wrong my face is horrible, the scarring is so red and my cheeks are rashy. This obviously isn't normal, after 3 months of using the product you'd think my face would get used to it. Should I stop?
How much of the epiduo are you using and how often?? Also were you using BP routinely in the past before starting the epiduo? The winter season with cold dry air outside and then hot dry air inside your home from heating will take a big toll on skin that is being treated from BP in my experience.

I've been using it routinely for the past 3 months with maximum four occasions where I skipped a night because I had forgotten it. I use 4 pea sized balls for my cheeks, forhead and chin once every night before bed. This is the third occasion where I use epiduo to heal my acne. In the past it's cleared my acne so well but my face was red so I always stopped it for that reason. I think that right now it's what is keeping my acne from leaving and it's making me feel uncomfortable because of the rashes. I think this product is not for me after all. I'm 90% sure I'm going to quit it now. I don't want to deal with the itching and redness again.
You've gotta keep in mind that the dry winter weather is making it much worse. Before you throw in the towel try a couple more things. Try using a little less of the product and after it drys completely apply a moisturizer specifically meant for the facial area. You've never used a facial moisturizer with it? I think that would help tremendously with the tight flaky dryness feeling. The moisturizer they sell on this website has been my favorite so far so I'd give that a shot if I were you. Also I would invest in a humidifier for your bedroom to keep the air in your room from being bone dry at night, that helped me out with my dry skin a ton also especially during winter season.

You're right, the cold and dry weather is definately not helping my cause. I am using a facial moisturizer that my doctor recommended me to use. I've spent a long period of time outside other than that time snowboarding but my skin this time is much more dry and flaky than I've seen before. Applying the moisturizer stings. In the past I've always stopped due to dryness and redness. I will keep trying to apply it for a few days, but if it doesn't heal, I'll stop using it. Thank you for your replies, I appreciate it.
