Hi everyone,
I have been using the 0.1% strength of Retin-A since November. Recently, I've noticed that my rolling scars are more visible, especially on my left cheek. The scars on my right cheek seem more red but they are less deep than before. Could the increase in indents on my left cheek be due to any possible wrong use of Retin-A?
Also, after the use of Retin-A, there seems to be some discolouration on my chin. It is not very visible but there are some red spots. Is there any treatment for this?
Thank you
My rolling scars definitely looked deeper when I was using retin a. It was pretty upsetting. I haven't used it for about a month and a half and the scars look marginally better (although I do have some new scarring from the retin a initial break out). I'm hoping it will go back to normal with time.
If you stick with retin a, make sure you're using a good sunscreen every day.
