I've been on Retin-A for a few weeks now to help treat my acne, but I find it problematic that I can't go outside in the sun without a strong sunscreen. So far I've been using Cerave zinc oxide face lotion for the last few weeks.
What are the best non-comodonegenic sunscreens to use for people with acne-prone skin? I want something strong that doesn't also break me out.
I use 2 that work really well and are made specifically for acne-prone skin.
One is a chemical moisturizer with spf 30. Cetaphil dermacontrol moisturizer. It claims it helps with oily skin, and it does to some extent (I have much more oil using just a moisturizer).
One is a physical moisturizer with spf 30. Devita solar. This is, again, made for acne-prone skin. Recent reviews say that they changed the formula and it creates balling, etc... but I recently started this one and I didn't notice any of it. It also controls oils.
I tried some other ones (Olay complete for 2 years, neutrogena, etc.) The ones I mention seem to work best.
