Hey guys I just went to a new dermatologist today and was prescribed Aczone , and Differin (otherwise known as Adapalene)

I've heard of both of these on here and when my dermatologist said I could try them I decided to give them a shot , she told me I should do a pea size drop of Aczone on my finger, then Differin , then moisturizer , and mix it all together then apply , do you think mixing the medications will reduce its strength / effectiveness? Not doubting my dermatologist , but just trying to get some opinions ?
