I totally agree with camaroz28. Live to regret your looks are NOT gone. Trust me I am a girl i know what I'm saying.
I think is seems a little bit worse in our heads (mine as well) then it really is. I know how you feel. I'm loosing so much hair every day
is unbelievable I'm not bald yet. My skin is very dry, I have acne on my back, which I didn't even have before accutane (what the f**)
Nothing works, but the more I worry about it the worse I feel. Furthermore on the pictures before accutane you are wearing some make up
which you don't have on the after pictures. I think you are beautiful and I love your style. You still have some hair left, mine are short and dry now, and there is nothing I can do to style it.
I have just finished my first liver flush, feel like shit today, I don't know if it's because of all the toxins getting released or what, but I'm planning to do next ones. We will see how it works. I thinks drugs and supplements are just putting more pressure on our livers.
Please hold on, you are not alone, I know this doesn't help with how you are feeling right now, but at least we can all try to find some sort of solution one day. If only I could live in Australia, I think sun would help my mood a great deal.

Basically, we in a nutshell.
Thanks for the brutal honesty Joseph [Edited image out], yeah I know Ive lost my looks since accutane, Its because my hair is destroyed, and my skin is ruined from cellular dehydration.
I do not look like the person I was 12 mnths ago - Thats not because of sugar, its because accutane has dried me out like an old boot.
Pre all this I lived on alot of the same foods but I have a sweet tooth.
I just dont see the point in depriving my body of anything it needs to try and heal itself. Cannabis oil is not going to fix the dried out skin or hair issues, I need to kick start my cell division into working again.
I am sorry, but I just looked at your profile pics, and I don't see nothing horrific. like yes, there is hairloss. but your skin actually looks flawless and you just look like you have a slim face for your slim frame. where are all these cysts? you actually look like a beautiful late 20's girl, and I not even joking. where are all the wrinkles?
anyways, I need supplements for crepitus and to try to prevent full blown arthritis. the part that is most painful for my is my left tumb. for some reason it hurts and it's stiff.
@Robert1000- Well, if you insist on playing with fire by taking Propecia could you please report back if you have temporary resolution of your sexual side effects while on it?
A Dr. Kevin Pezzi mentioned Propecia reversed his Accutane-induced sexual side effects. This is the first and only case I'm aware of that the reversal was permanent. I have heard a few stories of Propecia making the sexual side effects of Accutane worse.
@Robert1000, with all due respect, you really REALLY need to do your research before you embrace another pharmecutical with devestating side effects similar to accutane. Propecia has destroyed many lives too; don't take my word for it... go read the Propecia Help website and chat with some of those guys and let them tell you.
As Dubya_B mentioned there was a guy named Dr. Pezzi who reportedly suffered impotence for about a decade after taking several rounds of accutane. His story has been the stuff of legend on these accutane forums. According to his book Science of Sex, (yes, I actually bought his book in my desperate search for answers)...he reportedly cycled finasteride (I think for 3 years) and things actually went further downhill for him while he was on finasteride. After he discontinued it, he received a "true sexual metamorphosis" in which he goes on to graphically describe what happened to him afterward.
I think his only Accutane side effect was ED whereas you'vedescribed irritated eyes, eczema, other issues. You take Propecia and you may see your issues multiply. It's a big risk for consideration.
Was in the studio recording a new song all of yesterday.
Stuff like that makes me feel goooood.
Do it.
The song won't be up for a little while but it's so rad.
Ended up getting lost after dropping a friend home though... Didn't get back until 2am.
Driving at night is tough. My eyes get tired and I get cranky as fuck when I don't sleep.
Had to get up early today to visit a relative.
But I've been feeling good the last week.
Definitely making progress.
I stand by protein being helpful. Eggs and buttered toast seems to be a good meal for me.
Haven't read all the posts from the last 24 hours... What's this about Joe talking dirty? haha

I can't say this will help you and you may have already tried it, but my fingers use to crack and other joints just by moving. I took Vit D liquid and then some Magnesium and Hyluronic Acid and it helped. Worth a shot if you haven't tried it. could be possible too with the thumb maybe trigger finge? I had some issues with my fingers where it wouldn't even bend after accutane and had physical therapy.
Hi guys!
I tried so many suppliments, no result. Eating healthy with no result. Detox with no result.
My eyes get irritated 2-3 times a day, the pain its so big, its a hell. Eye drops doesnt help at all.
I lost about 80% of my eyebrows, now i only have few hairs there....looks like shit, there's not sign of new ones growing.
On the head, in the temples area, the hair is receidding alot, also in the center of the head.
I'm really tired. I'm gonna go on PROPECIA.
Has anyone tried Propecia here? does it really work for accutane hair loss? please reply me. thanks guys.
Did you ever go back to a physican and have lab work that you asked me about? such as hormones etc... I know your desperate, but I wouldn't jump so quick to propecia!
Oli Girl, i think i posted somewhere in here my hormonal results :
LH - 6.6
Prolactin - 222
FT4 - 20
TSH 1.15
Testosteron 19.09
The endocrinologist told me that, according to these results, my thyroid is fine. But i'm sure i have a hormonal problem, all the symptoms lead to hormonal problems. But what should i do?? Which tests should i do next??
Could i have diabetics? or some autoimune disease? which test should i do to check the pituitary gland?
I really dont know what should i do.....suppliments doesn't help at all....
Propecia , have you lost your mind lol... hasn't isotretionin taught you anything about synthetic drug side effects??? . If anything try Saw Palmetto like I did
I have grown considerable hair back since taking it and had NO bad side effects , none in fact only positive ones , I cycle on and off it once per year.
Live to Regret,
I didn't post any current photos, but after looking at yours, we look very similar without makeup. Deep bags under eyes, pale skin, slightly thinner face...you still look beautiful. Not gonna lie I get pretty jealous when i see a girl my age with nice plump skin, fully hydrated with a nice shine, but i think you still look your age. I think my hair stuff is more bothersome to me, as i already had SUPER thin hair..it's like super thin now, brittle at times, but most of the time i struggle to keep it from getting greasy, in which case i need to wash it everyday, which leads to more brittleness and falling out. I'm more shocked by the fact that this is all happening fucking 8 years after accutane....8 years. That's how long I have been off of it, and it is still effecting my body. whether it's in there or not, it;s latent effects were way more potent for me. To think I was going to get off with just some leg pain and dry sinuses was a mistake, but how did i know. I have full blown arthritis, chronic dry skin, cannot eat acidic foods or else my forehead wrinkles to a fucking 80 year old forehead, hormones are all fucked, chronic constipation, weakness, etc. I can go on....but I am still alive, I can still walk although the pain in both of my hips is excruciating. I'd take a slightly older looking face over the fucking pain in my body any day. I am just trying my best to live a healthy life...that's all I really can do as there are no clear answers out there...yet. What i do know works for me, and it's worth a shot is iodine supplementation (gives me smoother skin), MMS (oxygen and energy, some joint pain relief), and hyaluronic acid for joints. The other shit? Don't think it does anything for me but overloads my liver. you are beautiful. Beauty isn't just about skin either. you seem to have a great personality, but i'm sure the depression over your body changing/ quite like mine has drastically in the past year is nothing less than horrifying. Just hang in there, people can heal with time, symptoms may plateau, you may get a diagnose you never knew about, or you won't, in which case you will keep on going, keep taking each day at a time. Try to do one thing each day that makes you happy. For me right now it's learning songs on guitar and singing. Continue to do what makes you tick. you are a beautiful person inside and out.
Well said , think positive , we all have side effects some worse some less than others but try to make the best of what you have , find out what works for you , a lot of my symptoms have improved over time , time is a great healer for both mind and body. (=

I'm curently taking a hair suppliment which contains saw palmetto and horsetail extract. Taking it for about 2 weeks,. but nothing's changed.
The big thing is that my eyebrows are getting bald ... this is creepy!!! What should i do about it?

Do not take any 5 alpha-reductase inhibitor period. There is not a single person over at Propeciahelp who would ever consider what you are doing; having the courage to do what you are doing, and then openly admit it, in the context of such a thread is beyond reproach. Do not believe the garbage that natural supplements are safe; that is just nonsense people tell themselves when they are extremely fearful and soft.

Camaro Z28 you are a piece of work ha , natural supplements are a hell of a lot safer than synthetic drugs you just have to know what you are taking and how much , extremely fearful and soft lol , taking a herb that makes my hair grow back is not fearfull and soft its SMART , because it actually WORKS but to each his own.
I've just dealt with one charlatan recently, and I really don't want to have to deal with you again. Dealing with Joe's showy pretenses to knowledge or ability is one thing (he is right about some things); but, you condoning clearly dangerous behaviour is nuts. This stuff about using it sporadically to grow back hair is crazy. You are obviously lying about a great deal. I'm sure you are not a bad guy, but you need to cut the crapola. It may not be just Robert reading that which you should be keeping to yourself.

camaroz28, I'm interested to know why you think we shouldn't take any alpha reductase inhibitors. Why do you think so?

They can cause permanent sexual dysfunction (for both sexes). Just look up "post finasteride syndrome"
Although Accutane itself is a 5 alpha reductase inhibitor (hence the sexual side effects some here have)
You forgot to mention the emotional blunting and severe depression that often accompanies the sexual dysfunction linked to inhibition of 5 alpha reductase.
This may be caused by reduction of neurosteroids resulting from 5ar inhibition and has been shown to be highly probable.
unconquerable

I think you should only consider anti-androgens if you are clearly facing a seemingly almost unconquerable problem - cancer or disfiguring cystic acne.
@Sbowlchica: I just read a little about you; I'm sorry you are dealing with hair loss post Accutane. I will say that hair loss for women is much more socially debilitating for women. I still don't think you should risk further damage.
@Gladiatoro: I just noticed you own a stang. I used to own a 65 fastback with all NOS replacement sheet metal. It's not all bad news for you, I guess. The Z28 was never a match for the Boss 302 or Boss 9.

I think you are the charlatan , and don't call me a liar , how would you like it if someone called you a LIAR , screw you buddy , the herbs I take are none of your business and yes SP works for me , by the way I study herbs and know WAY more than you about the topic .
Saw Palmetto is a herb that acts to tone and STRENGTHEN the MALE REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM . It may be used with SAFETY where a BOOST to the MALE SEX HORMONES IS REQUIRED. IT IS USED AS A SEXUAL STIMULANT FOR MALES AND TO ENHANCE BREAST SIZE IN WOMEN , It is specific in cases of enlarged prostate glands. It will be of value in infections of the genito-urinary tract.
Applications:
Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH)
Thyroid deficiency - preliminary results
antiseptic, sedative, cardiac, tonic, diuretic
BPH is considered to be caused by testosterone accumulating in the prostate. The testosterone is then converted to dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which causes the cells to multiply too quickly and leads to enlargement of the prostate. The saw palmetto extract prevents testosterone from converting to dihydrotestosterone. It also inhibits DHT from binding to cellular receptor sites and so increase DHT's breakdown and excretion.
In several double blind studies Saw Palmetto extract was an effective treatment for BPH. It was found to be SUPERIOR to finasteride (PROSCAR). While Proscar takes up to an year to show some beneficial effects, Saw Palmetto extract showed better results in shorter period of time. Most patients reported obtaining some relief of symptoms within the first 30 days of the treatment with the Saw Palmetto extract. Saw palmetto had no demonstrable effect on the serum prostatic specific antigen levels.
Useful for asthma and all kinds of throat troubles, colds, bronchitis, la grippe, whooping cough, and when the throat is irritated and painful. Especially useful when there is excessive mucous discharge from the sinuses and nose.
Valuable in all diseases of the reproductive organs, ovaries, prostate, testes, etc. as well as for Bright's disease and diabetes
Combinations : For debility associated with the reproductive system it will combine well with Damiana and Kola. For the treatment of enlarged prostate glands it may be used with Horsetail and Hydrangea.
You should study herbs camaroz28 , you might actually learn something USEFUL.

No wonder I don't like you ha , your a fan of Chevy lol..... you should have kept your 65 Mustang fastback , bad move , seriously stop attacking me , your PISSING ME OFF.
Would you give your Mustang Saw Palmetto? [Edited image out]I think you would consider it, if no one was looking. You don't sound very passionate to me about the blue oval. Seriously though: just don't spread your hippie propaganda in this thread. You have the rest of this site and the net for that.
