Nice Aaron, keep going. Glad you are getting better ^^
Yeah, diet and mind. This is what will heal us. Dr Morse is probably right with most things.
Very interested in cordyceps as Ive read it quitea few times lately ...
Will look intoGotu kola. Currently going with burdock, nettle, dandelion, licorice and some other herbs.
Thanks Eli. I agree with you about Dr Morse, he's right about MOST things. I'm still against fruitarianism. I guess if you feel better with those herbs then good. With me, burdock stimulates a massive dopamine loss, nettle wipes out my dht, dandelion loads me up with estrogen, and licorice wipes out my testosterone and causes hypertension. Just a heads up.

Not surprising it's hard on the liver, I read booze removes retinol from liver, but once again it's hard on the liver. I might try a glass a day still considering this.
@Aaron76yeah feellike these herbs work for me. giving me detox reactions. also, craving oranges lately ...
@Aaron76Yeah tangerines are nice too. But I do crave oranges more. They are not so sweet ^^ Anyway, it feels like the oranges rly detox the body. Getting mucus out ...

He talks a lot about the importance of lymphatic detox, and the concept of acid vs alkaline chemistry. This is in perfect alignment with accutane people, who are highly acidic from retinoic acid.
My current herbal combo is producing the best sleep I've had in ages. Ending the lockdown should help speed up the healing process.
Dr Robert Morse the fruitarian guy?
I'm starting to get a little concerned with the advice your giving.
The PH of your body is very tightly regulated. This is a physiological fact. If your PH changes drastically it is when you are dying. Alkaline diets are completely nonsense.
I actually bought some of the Gotu Kola stuff which was probably a big mistake in hindsight.
I think i'll carry on with what was working for me

I think that is true. Alcohol does release retinol from the liver but it just circulates around and goes right back into the liver again. I need to find where I read that.
The hard part is carrying the retinol out of the system once it is released after consuming alcohol. I've tried activated charcoal amongst other things for this. The hard part is knowing if it's actually doing anything at all.
Marsh, if you'd actually read, you'd see that i disagree with Morse about fruitarianism. I believe humans are Omnivores, and require food from all four food groups to be healthy. People who eat nothing but meat and dairy every day end up stripping calcium from their bones in order to maintain proper ph. Fruitarians overload their bodies with sugar and destroy their teeth. People who eat a healthy balance from all four food groups have a much easier time maintaining proper ph. Just because I agree with Morse about one thing doesn't mean I agree with him on everything.
But anyway, you better send back that gotu kola. It's a leafy green vegetable, consumed by millions of healthy people the world over, but since I recommend it, it might damage your liver. (Eye roll)
If you want to carry excess retinoic acid out of the liver then you'd better get your lymphatic system up and running. Gotu kola accomplishes this. But since I recommend it, then it must be bad for you.
Marsh, if something is truly working for you then you wouldn't be hear looking for answers. Everyone else, I would strongly encourage you to try gotu kola combined with cordyceps for at least a month.
@Aaron76I get it. Booze isn't a smart idea, booze is bad, just trying to get my head around this.
So dandelion root is a no go? Have read it can be good for liver, wonder why this doesn't work?
You read correctly about dandelion being good for the liver. It's also loaded with beneficial carotenoids. The problem is the phytoestrogen content. For female victims dandelion would be a good choice. For male victims, not so much due to the estrogen. If I had to choose between dandelion and burdock I would choose dandelion, simply because dandelion is more beneficial for brain health being more pro Dopamine, while burdock is more anti dopamine.
Gotu kola is pro Dopamine, has no phytoestrogens, and eliminates fibrotic tissue in the liver, while stimulating lymphatic flow through the liver.
I think the state of liver now is up to debate, as nafld is a low retinoic acid environment in studies. Liver Retinol levels didnt predict nafld only RA. But nafld patients have high serum retinol, but I do not with nafld. Obviously accutane is hard on liver, but the state of it now seems unknown.
Aldehyde dehydrogenase blunting increases risk for fatty liver.
Alcoholics seem to end up with retinol deficiency, so it's very complicated.
What I'm questioning now is does accutane give a you booze induced liver or an obesity induced liver?
https://ajp.psychiatryonline.org/doi/full/10.1176/appi.ajp.162.5.983
OF COURSE 15 year old study about brain damage from the Tane.
I'd say neither. I'd say it produces a retinoic acid induced fatty liver. And that a high fat keto diet helps to quell accutane induced liver inflammation. A diet high in simple carbs would exacerbate accutane liver inflammation.
Thanks Anna for the study. Either accutane produces permanent brain damage and is long gone from the body, or it's still trapped inside the body, and removal from the body eliminates the brain issues. Regardless, gotu kola is excellent for brain health, and for lymphatic detox. The loose and frequent stools is an excellent sign of detox occuring.

The vitamin c scares me in that it is an acid, ie ascorbic acid, and we're already too acidic. The d scares me in that it competes with a, e, and k. The zinc scares me in that it's known to wipe out copper and iron levels.
Accutane has either caused permanent genetic changes that result in vascular disease, or it's still trapped inside and removing it will remove the disease. Regardless, Ginkgo extract and whole gotu kola are successful for arterial and lymphatic diseases.
I tried gotu kola standalone and it destroyed my liver and gallbladder function. Pale stools, no bile flow, and had to stop. Ginkgo extract is required with gotu kola in order for it to work right. You will end up with more liver issues if you try gotu kola without including the ginkgo extract. Several European companies produce a whole gotu kola/ginkgo extract combo.
Also, avoiding GMO food is critical for us. Sun chips produces several flavors, including original flavor. All flavors are non GMO except for the original, which is GMO. Guess which one my body reacts badly to. You guessed it, the original flavor.
Earth is a homeopathic tincture and works on pancreas, stomach and liver meridians
over the last 3-4 weeks Ive experienced the least amount of ibs Ive ever had over thelast 15 years which is such a blessing!!
In todays session he said keep going with these drops, he also now wants me on B1 drops to help work on my hiatus hernia. Fixing this will also help me to fix persistentreflux issue which I still have
Anyway, thats where Im at, also still taking Vit D and C and Zinc with the Earth tincture. I feel like my immune system is pretty strong at the moment!!
Sounds good tj. Out of all your supplements I'd say your earth tincture is far and away the best one and likely responsible for the lions share of your progress.
Cannabis sativa (cbd, earth tincture) is widely known to help chemo victims, which is what we are. It helps regulate the autonomic nervous system. It also shows up in my biofeedback machines recommended phytotherapy section fairy often, although my machine doesn't rank it as highly as gotu kola or cordyceps. I believe if you keep going with the earth tincture, drop the 3 isolates, and add the two whole herbs I mentioned your progress would be even faster. Take care.
Ps--ive drank cbd based soda that I got from Amazon last year and did notice some nice effects mentally.
@Aaron76 I am very interested in trying out Gotu Kola and Cordiceps too. Could you please send me links to the products you are using? Thanks man Also interested in CBD oil. any experiences anyone?

Same here. Stools are going pale again after a week with Gotu Kola, but holy shit what nice it feels for the brain. Its like drugs. My speech is much better, intelligent words pop up automatically when i speak.
They sell a combo here in the Netherlands: Gingko, Gotu Kola and Ginseng in 1 pill. I also have the Gotu Kola seperate. It just feels nice taking them, like warm in my head.
i also notice some weight gain a bit.
i have access to alot of CBD and Rick Simpson Oil if i want. RSO is not doable when you have a job. CBD gives me more a general feel of wellbeing, feels very relaxed and puts the inflammation down. But after all these years, for the brain Gotu Kola works magic. The body however is working hard, pain in the sides when coughing, i think its kidneys, stools are pale again. Dont know what happens.
edit; i use this one
The interesting part about RSO is that the moment it wears of (like 18 hours later) i always had to Sneeze a couple of times, like some immune response.
while on it, it makes you enjoy music again, like music brings out emotions, and some other health benefits. If you want to try RSO, do the full 90day program. The same program cancer patients/chemo patientsuse. This will givethe best chance of health benefits.

My current brand of cordyceps is fresh nutrition. My current brand of gotu kola is organic India. I got them from Amazon but other websites sell them too.
Doctorcolumbus glad to hear of improvement but the next brand of gotu kola should be non extract whole herb, similar to organic India brand. Anytime I see a percent symbol on the back of the label I don't touch it. Percent symbols mean it's not a completely natural product.
Seafood is important for omega 3 replenishment. Whole grains, even if it's just sun chips non original, is important for butyrate production in the gut.
Banyan botanicals is a good brand of gotu kola too. I want everyone to set the cordyceps aside for now, save it for future use, and focus exclusively on the gotu kola for now. Why? Because cordyceps is a fungus, and if you have parasites in your gut, which most if not all of us do, it may feed them. Once gotu kola has restored proper bile flow and eliminates the parasite issue, you can then add back the cordyceps. I recommend 2 organic gotu kola capsules in the morning and 2 gotu kola capsules in the evening.
@Aaron76Thanks man, appreciate it ^^ Do you currently take cordyceps? Or do you hold it back? Just because it is a fungus does that mean it is bad if you have parasites or fungus? Can that be said so easily?
@DoctorcolumbusNice to hear that man! I have a question regarding the CBD: how many % (5%, 10%, ...) are best? And is it better to use CBD oil or capsules? Also whats the daily dosis? Thanks ^^

Are you not able to get surgery for your hital hernia. I had that surgery. It was a cakewalk and FIXED my acid issue.
I've put the cordyceps aside for now and am focusing on gotu kola only. 4 capsules daily. protozoa and roundworm parasites both feed on fungi, which is what cordyceps is. Once gotu kola has optimized bile flow and parasites are gone I will reintroduce cordyceps.
Rick simpson oil is illegal due to the thc content. I don't believe it to be any better than CBD oil, which is legal and readily available. I've done cbd in the past and for me, it cant compare with whole herb gotu kola. It's not even close.
