speaking of diet, the most extreme would be elemental.
what you might be doing is starving out microorganisms that are telling you how to think, what to eat,
what you crave, obsessive type behaviours.
you see how microorganisms can control the host if allowed to over populate.

Coprinus comatus and Ganoderma lucidum interfere with androgen receptor function in LNCaP prostate cancer cells.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17431821
For the first time, to the best of our knowledge, we demonstrated that C. comatus and G. lucidum decreased androgen and glucocorticoide receptors transcriptional activity in breast cancer MDA-kb2 cells in a dose-dependent manner, and suppressed androgen receptor (AR) protein level in LNCaP and MDA-kb2 cells. Our findings suggest that AR and non-AR mediated mechanisms underlie the effects of C. comatus and G. lucidum.

Discontinued: Candida albicans Serology and Antigen Tests
As of July 31, 2018, send out testing to Mayo Medical Laboratories for Candida albicansAntibodies (IgG, IgA, IgM) and CandidaAntigen Detection will be discontinued.
Mayo Clinic discontinued these tests due to a lack of clinical significance and challenges with interpretation as compared to fungal culture.Candidaantibodies are detected in 20-30% of healthy individuals while immunocompromisedindividuals at increased risk for systemic candidiasis have blunted antibody responses. Sensitivity of 62% and specificity of 53% have been reported when using antibody levels to diagnose candidiasis.
I tested positive for all the antibodies above.
20 to 30 percent in healthy individuals.
so 70 to 80 percent got something going on.

whats the follow up plan?
Id like to see a couple more people get this tested.

Fungi and Intestinal Inflammation Finding May Open Door to New IBD Therapies
https://www.genengnews.com/gen-news-highlights/fungi-and-intestinal-inflammation-finding-may-open-door-to-new-ibd-therapies/81255369
Weill Cornell Medicine researchers have found that immunecells that process food and bacterial antigens in the intestines control the intestinal population of fungi. Defects in the fungus-fighting abilities of these cells may contribute to some cases of Crohn's disease and other forms of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), note the scientists.
CX3CR1+Mononuclear Phagocytes Control Immunity to Intestinal Fungi
Intestinal fungi are an important component of the microbiota, and recent studies have unveiled their potential in modulating host immune homeostasis and inflammatory disease
"After discovering that fungi might be involved in the pathology of IBD, one of the big questions in the field has been how to identify patients who would benefit from antifungal co-therapy, and our finding suggests a way to do that,"

Hi is beta alanine still helping with your dry eyes?

Hi is beta alanine still helping with your dry eyes?
I stopped it a few weeks after posting. It made me really hungry and a little anxious. I found myself eating everything on site but I haven't given up on this. I think it worked to hydrate me by acting as an osmolyte. I have tried other osmolytes but none had the obvious and noticeable effect of beta-alanine. It gave me a great pump and also feel like it helped with muscle mass. But the best part was no more dry eyes or bloody nostrils in the morning. I will be cycling this likely on workout days.
Curious to see if anyone can replicate my results.

Maybe this is why I seem to have a problem with fungal infections after tane. Have a bad case of balanitis going on 5 years and it doesn't seem to remit. vinegar and miconazole help but it comes back if I eat sugar or carbs or sometimes for no reason at all. Started biotin again and hope this will help. Biotin def leads to fungal infections and this is lowered by tane.
what else. some more thoughts real quick.

Anyone here has high SHBG but normal testestrone and estradiol? (Also cracking joints....). How did you deal with it? Did you figure out the cause?
Guys I know what is needed to end your pain and suffering. Accutane is trapped in your liver and skin. Vitamin a and dha are the normal activators of rxr and rar. Dha is a detoxifier that can draw toxins out of the cells and into the toilet. But regular dha supplements are no good, because it's a toxic pufa, and we react badly to regular dha. You need some saturated fat with it to make it a nontoxic supplement.
Swanson health used to sell a product called super dpa menhaden formula. And it was working brilliantly for me, the only bottle I had before they changed the formula to non menhaden species, which does not work because these other species don't have the saturated fat that menhaden does. Everything, and I do mean everything was coming back to normal, mentally and physically.
I feel like the solution has come and gone and we will never recover. The only chance we have is to apply a full court press to Swanson health and DEMAND that they bring back the menhaden super dpa product. Everyone here needs to email Swanson health customer service, share your horror story, and tell them the menhaden super dpa is your only hope, and that you'll be a lifetime customer. If they receive enough nagging to bring the formula back, they'll do it. Without your voice, we are all doomed to a life in hell. Go to Swanson health right now and tell them they need to bring it back. God be with you.

Hi Aaron!
Could you provide a link please?
There's a petition at change.org called a cure for accutane syndrome. Go to change.org right now, look it up and sign it, and email to family, friends, etc. Let's get this product back online to get our health and lives back.

Aside from yourself, how many others responded well to this product?
How did you come to know about this product in the first place?
Even though its discontinued, where is the best place to learn about the product? How it works etc - perhaps a link if you have one, Im keen to learn more about it.
Why not email and tell Swanson you want it back? That's really what's needed. Testosterone requires more saturated fat and less pufa. Also, dha promotes sleep, and epa inhibits sleep. So I searched for a fish oil high in saturated fat at nutritiondata.com, saw menhaden, googled menhaden fish oil and found it at Swanson. There are other menhaden fish oils on the web right now but they all have epa, and epa is toxic to us because it competes with arachidonic acid, which we are low in due to an accutane induced retinol deficiency. We need the two primary fats of the brain, saturated fat and dha, which is exactly what that Swanson formula was.

Canned sardines, mackarel, and wild alaskan salmon are all sources of high DHA. They also contain 100% of the RDA of Vitamin D and wont have any issues with oxidation that the highly refined fish oil industry is very prone to , since the tissues contain natural anti oxidants.
The canning process can destroy omegas though (but not always), so the most ideal source is always fresh, which is not always feasible due to price

And your thoughts on the Swanson one being a cure for us??
Ive had heaps of fish oil over the years, the Udos brand is known to be good which Ive taken. Only take it cause its supposed to be good for you - absolutely dont feel any changes though at all!!!
But are they good for Accutane victims....probably not.
Again, your thoughts on Swanson being a cure?

It looks a high DHA fish oil supplement. I'm honestly not sure whether it could be a cure for a symptom.
Probably good supplement for general health though.
You could also achieve high DHA intake via sardines , salmon, or mackerel, etc

An advertisement for a Swanson vitamin disguised as a plea for help with Accutane side-effects?
No way would anyone in their right mind sign.
Wow. You're clueless if you see it as an advertisement for a health supplement. Completely clueless. It's about bringing back a product that can restore peoples lives. Nothing wrong with that. Wow. Accutanes really done a number on the way you think.
Truejustice, you're being an ignorant moron too. 99% of the fish oil on the market is no good because it's isolated pufa. Isolated pufa is bad. Menhaden dha is completely different from 99% of the fish oils on the market because of it's protective saturated fat content. Has tons more saturated fat than all other fish species. It's this Saturated fat that sets it apart from all other fish oils. You feel bad from typical fish oil because it lacks saturated fat. Menhaden dha solves this problem because of it's saturated fat content. I know from EXPERIENCE how amazing the product was.
speaking of supplements, I noticed something interesting at the drugstore the other day.
The Align brand probiotic, which is probably one of the highest quality probiotics on the market,
came out with a new formula that's 5x the amount ofbifidobacterium infantis 35624 for relatively the same price.
anyone that's looked into align knows how expensive it can be.
maybe they were trying to model this study and dosage, which is 5 billion for infants.
https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2018/06/180609194242.htm
The presence of B. infantis in the intestines of infants is associated with health benefits and these bacteria are nourished by breast milk. However, these beneficial bacteria are present at significantly lower levels in breastfed infants in developed countries than in developing countries.
Mothers and infants in the study received either aB. infantispreparation and lactation support, or lactation support alone, from seven to 21 days after birth. The bacteria quickly established themselves in the babies, crowding out other gut bacteria that are associated with intestinal problems and immune-related diseases such as asthma, allergy and autoimmune disease. Furthermore, supplementation withB. infantisalso changed the biochemical composition of infant feces. These beneficial changes lasted for up to a year in babies that were primarily breastfed.
These results suggest a possible method to improve gut microbiome health and prevent immune-related diseases in breastfed infants in developed countries.
then you can look at competition of carbs. bacteria vs yeast.

So Swanson was the only brand making a fish oil with tons of saturated fat?
Why did they make it that way, why the only one??
You say 99% of fish oil is no good, you mean for us Accutane victims yeah??
Im assuming you agree that outside of Accutane problems they are fine for people most fish oils.
Yes youre correct, Im a moron with a 20 year Accutane issue - theres plenty of us apparently.
