today I would like to get your input on a question, that is more and more bringing me down.
I have a 7 year old daughter. Ever since she has problems with her skin. Already as a baby her skin was very sensitive and she had extreme reactions to all kind of irritations like mosquito bites, certain soaps, suncream and so on. Over the years it was getting worse and worse. Some weeks ago she was diagnosed withLichen sclerosus. At the beginning I did not make any connections with my accutane therapy 17 years ago. But over the last months I have growing concerns, that there is a connection between my accutane therapy and the health problems of my daughter.
It is difficult enough to live with the accutane side effects years later. But to have ruined the health of my daughter, that would probably kill me. Do you think, there could be any connection?
Thanks for your feedback.

You need to report your worries to MHRA and ask them for any reports they have from others regarding any and all reported and know side effects to children claimed by parents and doctors. Be very specific in your questions as they may find a way to avoid the question directly.
You want to know exactly how many and what side effects have been reported and ask directly about your specific concerns.
Head your email with Freedom Of Information Act and they have to supply the information.
So sad that you now have this to worry about. Good luck.

Everyone, 80% are deficient so given that vit D for accutane users is diminished , it really is a good idea to address these deficiencies.
I saw that some vaxxed kids did well supplementing Vit K2

many tried vitamin d and are taking it regularly. I took it for many months, didn't change anything.
Been exploring the high estrogen route.. and WOW it hits my symptoms 100%
Could also be the reason for my cracking voice
anyone post this before?
Many have talked up a meat free diet and some have posted that going vego hasn't done a thing to help tane issues, it could be that your problem isn't the meat, it's how much estrogen you are producing.
google foods that increase estrogen - there's a lot of things that I eat that I didn't know are increasing estrogen, if you're on the path to lowering it, you might need to reconsider exactly what you are eating!!
Simple stuff like nuts and soy productsthat I thought were doing me good, could be doing me no good at all......

No, it's just a sad coincidence in my opinion. Accutane affect US, the person who took it, nothing it changed can be passed on.
All babies have sensitive skin, their skin barrier doesn't function at 100% as a baby. Look how many babies get cradle cap (seb derm).
The only danger is reproducing whilst on accutane, which causes birth defects just like taking high doses of VIt A and reproducing does. You had your daughter 10 years after cessation of accutane.
We have to remember humans can have faults with or without accutane. Millions of people will have the same problems as people on this forum and have never even heard of accutane.

Vit D for longterm health - you will not notice a difference and I am not suggesting it is a cure.
Vit K i don't think many understand and research is not very advanced.
Have you ever had it tested?
As I said,, some vaxxed kids do well with vit k

Just took a half dropper of pure cbd oil. I'll let u know how it goes. If some reaction occurs or something happens, catch ya on the flip side. So far just passing a bit of gas. Don't give up the fight. Risks are a part of laboratory science. We will make progress.

Let us know if you get anything from it. I got through tons of the stuff - the oil, the stronger CBD oil stuff in the syringes - loads of it, but noticed absolutely nothing from it. Real RSO definitely increases dopamine, but got nothing lasting from that either, and obviously it has the downside of getting you stoned. I got the CBD oil from this place https://hempmedspx.com/real-scientific-hemp-oil/
2 avocados a day making you feel better? https://www.healthaliciousness.com/articles/high-copper-fruits.php
The role of copper in biological phenomena that involve signal transduction is poorly understood. A cellular model of neuronal differentiation has been utilised to examine the requirement for copper during nerve growth factor (NGF) signal transduction that leads to neurite outgrowth (Birkaya and Aletta, 2005). NGF increases cellular copper content within 3 days, whereas copper chelators reduce the effects of NGF on neurite outgrowth and copper accumulation (Birkaya and Aletta, 2005). Our data supports a model of malignant neural cells requiring higher intracellular copper levels for viability, and that retinoid-induced neuritic differentiation of neuroblastoma cells causes intracellular copper depletion. In non-neuronal cells ATP7A regulates copper homeostasis by translocating copper from thetrans-Golgi network to the plasma membrane, in response to an increased copper load. In Menkes disease a defect in the ATP7A protein leads to a reduced transport of copper from the intestine into the circulation and central nervous system, as well as reduced transport of copper into the Golgi apparatus. In our studies, a significant increase in copper efflux, and decrease in copper uptake occurred over 8 days of retinoid treatment. Thus, reduction in cellular copper levels directly contributes to the retinoid therapeutic effect.
The retinoid anti-cancer effect is mediated by effects on ATP7A and intracellular copper
We next examined the hypothesis that ATP7A mediates the effects of RAR2on neuroblastoma cells by its effects on intracellular copper metabolism. We measured copper efflux in neuroblastoma cells (BE(2)-C and SH-SY5Y) which were pre-treated with 10 maRA over a time course of 8 days, then loaded with radioactive64Cu. After64Cu loading, cells were washed, then incubated in normal growth media to allow copper efflux over a short 4 h time course. In both cell lines there was a higher copper efflux in cells pre-treated with aRA at 4 h (Figure 4A). As the retinoid treatment affects the cell number at the end of the growth period,64Cu uptake was standardised against cell viability, as assessed by the Alamar Blue assay (Figure 4B). Retinoid treatment resulted in a marked decrease in64Cu accumulation in both SH-SY5Y and BE(2)-C cells.
Forced downregulation of ATP7A reduced copper efflux and increased viability of retinoid-treated neuroblastoma cells. Copper supplementation enhanced cell growth and reduced retinoid-responsiveness, whereas copper chelation reduced the viability and proliferative capacity. Taken together, our data demonstrates ATP7A expression is regulated by retinoic acid receptorand it has effects on intracellular copper levels, revealing a link between the anticancer action of retinoids and copper metabolism.

I know Accutane is not exactly the same as Vitamin A, but the toxic effects are basically the same.
I feel the long term effects stem largely from this.
Some interesting comments on this blog post: [removed]
Im going to avoid Vitamin A as best I can, while taking Vitamin C, D, E, Zinc and Magnesium. On top of that, Im going to get to bed at 10pm, because our bodies and minds need the rest. Im not sure about you guys, but I sometimes feel alright for a few days or so. Then I crash. This happens over and over. Im having a shitter of a week.
The comments relating to Vit A toxicity suggest this is the liver releasing toxins when we crash.
Its not much the go on, but its all I have for now.

As people who have suffered greatly and know what its like to feel hopeless, I think we should all avoid paying for animal cruelty. It hasnt changed my health either way, but meat is not necessary for health and a lot points to it being harmful. Factory farms are Hell.

Yes this article caught my eye as well. Definitely on my last resort to do list.

So, I ended up taking about 1.5mg the other day (3 half droppers) and preliminary thoughts are good. I've found through research the best quality + affordability was to buy from www.cbdpure.com. Immediately upon ingesting I felt pressure in my temples and behind the eye, beginning of a headache, for a few seconds before it dissipated, so it's definitely doing something up there. It also happens every time i ingest, so I know its the oil. Next thing i noticed was that my joints began to throb almost just like when you are fasting. Joints that I've never had throb before but use everyday (hand). This stuff is hands down one of the most amazing anti-inflammatory supps I've ever tried. Nothing changed mood wise. Still suppressed neurologically, but lets see after a month. This stuffs great!
That lower back pain that alot of people get. I wonder if that could literally be bone loss/weakness or pre-osteoporosis in the lumbar spine area.
This is one of the areas they measure with bone density testing.
Bone strength. I think this preceeds muscle strength. Cross talk from the skeletal system (bone strength) might regulate muscle strength or
Resting muscle strength. This is related to Muscle PH. This muscle strength might be what pushes and regulates blood flow. Like cerebral blood flow. penile blood flow.
Sustainable muscle strength, and im not just talking about muscles you work out at the gym, but muscles you dont think about that you cant work out, like the throat, stomach, breathing muscles.
Then looking at the brain,
Contractile proteins in pericytes at the blood-brain and blood-retinal barriers.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11577244
There are tissues that have muscle like property that are capable of contracting that can regulate the tiniest of blood flow.
Evidence from a variety of sources suggests that pericytes have contractile properties and may therefore function in the regulation of capillary blood flow.
One of the tests to look into this if anyone ever gets to that point.
arterial spin labeling MRI

I wish there was a better way to go about organizing this thread.
Would reddit be a better solution?
Surely there must be a free site that can host a more structured approach to directions particular users have taken.
Frustrating to say the least.
If we even started aKickstarter and raised enough funds to get this underway. I bet at least 100 of us using this woulddonate at least $10 or more. I assume bandwidth use would be generally quite low anyway.

Your background is crazy. I was telling @mariovitali awhile back I was going to get a tattoo of that after this. Love it.
You want to donate, maybe donate here first and see how these drug induced sides are becoming more and more related.

You had your estrogen levels checked, right?
There is another website set up for us, [removed]...although, people come here because acne.org is one of the top 100 most daily visited sites on the entire web on any given month. It's also a neutral site, so its safe-er (kinda). if I were a pharma company (Roche) I'd create a site just to log information about disgruntled side effect riddled guinea pigs, as a safety precaution or data collection.
One would hope this neutral site would protect our information and not cave in to intimidation or money.
Also, this thread changes the minds of thousands of people a day considering Accutane. Even if we get through to 1%, its a positive effect. I've been here for 10 years. I've talked to around 600-700 people with either side effects or questions before/while taking isotretinoin. even though all of the truths about this drug are on the web.
