I'm in the process of treating my chronic adrenal fatigue in hopes it can help restore other issues. Will update that as well - just wanted to say it's hopefully going to be good news in a month or two!

@anonyy,

Where and how can I do this Isotherapy?! It makes sense let me know please.

Isotherapy uses the philosophy of "like cures like", therefore to cure accutane sides - take more accutane. There's slightly more to it than that. But the absurdity in that statement should be obvious.

If you want more info I would PM anonny, he'll also tell you that dipping your balls in hot jam is useful for hair loss.

Considering there are trace amounts isotretinoin/Accutane/13-cis-retinoic-acid found in blood as a by-product of retinoid metabolism, we are all always undertaking natural isotherapy.

....We've all tried it and it doesn't work.

The one nice thing is that since it doesn't do anything at all, there is absolutely no risk of side effects from isotherapy/homeopathy.

A fitting place for a demonstration of another approved drug courtesy of the FDA a.k.a the Fear and Death Administration.

I was on accutane this last year for 9 months. Last week I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. When they looked at the lesions on my brain on and MRI they found that all 7 of them formed during the last 6 months of my Accutane course. I'm only 18 which seems to be really young to be diagnosed with MS. I haven't been able to find a huge amount of evidence linking accutane with MS but I have no family history and had no problem before accutane. Has anyone else been diagnosed with MS? Does anyone know of any solid links between the two?

Sorry to hear about that Haley. Unfortunately i have heard about accutane causing MS and you can find similar stories by a google search. However, Cannabis Oil is very effective in treating MS as you can see in the video below.

I looked into cannabis oil when we first started suspecting MS, even before it was officially diagnosed. I am happy to say that did provide a lot of relief and may be something that I continue.

You are pathetic, poor kid. Learn some physiology and came back to talk with me if you want, but right now you are just stupid and ignorant. I can't really believe that people can be so dumb really, you try to help them and they spit on you when you aren't there, poor human race with people like you.

Isotherapy isn't a necessity, its just to speed up the process and has nothing to do with taking more accutane, as there is no more molecule in it. And it's not even 5% of the process and what i've talk of, i don't get why you are still focused on that.

I can't find any link between dipping balls and hair loss, sorry.

Next time you want to argue with me please use some more intelligent answers, thanks.

But yea i understand, you prefer taking cannabis and others drugs finding a cure to not take your responsability like a little kiddy, completely ignoring how the human body work. Continue that way it will be funny to see you whimper over and over again.

I will repeat it, accutane main problem is that he destroy the intestine, where 80% of the neurotransmitters are made, those intestine are the main filter too, accutane render it inflamed/hyperpermeable so if you continue to eat trashy food, specially gluten, dairy & refined/transformed foods you will be forever sick. There is some liver, congestion and adrenals matter but i will not tell everything again.

Good to see you back friend, missed you!

I will follow you down the rabbit hole of ad hominem attacks, more for my own catharsis than anything else.

So we've gone through the physiology aspect already. To be honest this whole thing is cyclical. I've said you speak the truth, but you speak so much rubbish alongside it is why many regard your posts as irrelevant. It's like searching for a needle in a pile of sh*t.

Alongside this, your a raging hypocrite! In its most literal sense. I presume I need to provide you with the evidence as you seem blind to your own flaws. "you try to help people and they just spit on you", so what are you doing are you sinking to my level, or have you always been down there? A look back over your previous post posits the latter. If anything you're spitting up at people.

I've used science anonny to argue with you. It doesn't work.

Another hypocritical point as you yourself tried cannabis. But hey guess what? I continue to improve whether or not I have your blessing.

Anyway let's get to the meat of it, you pursue the ad hominem attack then I'll join in. Anonny I speculate you're some unemployed emaciated circle-jerking muppet, that or you spend the majority of the day beating off in a sock. The fact you have recovered and spend so much time on here, as compared to literally no-one else who has recovered is suggestive that I may be at least close to the truth. I also imagine I've managed to 'get lucky' with a full on flacid dick more than you have for the entirety of your existence. Actually I'll add to that, the last vagina you touched was probably the one you came out of.

If you feel like continuing the keyboard warrior mentality, PM me and spare everyone else OUR childish bickering. As I am fully aware I'm being juvenile now. Apologies to the rest of you, but I need a vent. It's been a month now of a better functioning dick and a libido and I haven't seen the gf in 2 weeks, I'm getting worked up.

Tell me about the rubbish please, it's easy to say things like this without any more informations.
You didn't used science at all to argue with me, maybe some pseudo-scientific url full of misinformation but they don't really count. I didn't heard any solution from you except taking cannabis for your dick, i believe people deserve better informations than that don't you think?
I'm everytimes here? i don't believe so.
Sadly no i won't take that to pm as you choosed to begin to insult on the post with no reason when i was off here. And i don't really care about you, i only care about your false information about what i've said.
I see that you have nothing intelligent to say, you are taking this personnaly starting to argue about my private life, what weak people do.

Anyway if you want to believe that everything is genetic, that disease came from no reason and you need chemicals drugs or cannabis to cure you and that diet as no relation to "diseases" continue to believe that, after all what do i care if you doesnt want to understand human physiology, you will be the only one who will suffer from it.

I just tried to bring some hope here, with people like you so negative and so "everything is genetic we are doom" that some people kill themselves believing those bullshit, you are all responsible for that. I think it's a mistake to try to help people after all, they only see what they want to see and will do their best to try to discredite what you say for fun, cause i imply taking responsability and self-education about physiology and health, then arguing about your job or the price of your car to "insult" you, poor humanity, really.
Trying to discredite what i came here to say, that you can regenerate yourself from accutane, that you are not doom, that you can get back your life, and you focus on one little thing, isotherapy to discredite all of that, physiology and some techniques (that don't even came from me), and then come to talk about if i have a job, really, you are such a little kiddy it's unbelievable.

Very sorry to hear what happened. On the other hand, it is good that you found something that helps. Offers some hope in slowing or stopping this.

Can I ask if it appears these lesions have ceased to continue after you quit taking Accutane?

A few of us here think Accutane may cause such problems by decreasing a neurosteroid called allopregnanolone.

This neurosteroid tends to be much lower in patients with MS than controls and is thought to be responsible for maintaining the myelin sheath around neurons.

I suppose you already know destruction of myelin sheathing is involved in the appearance of MS lesions.

It is too soon to tell if the lesions have stopped because I have only been off accutane for a little over a month.

I'll have to look into what you've said. Because I was only diagnosed a week ago I haven't done much research yet. I've just been trying to come to terms with everything art this point. I know that the lesions are caused by myelin destruction, but I don't know anything about allopregnanolone.

There's really no solid evidence showing that Accutane can lower allopregnanolone, only that it can decrease the activity of one of the enzymes responsible for allopregnanolone production, and possibly a second enzyme also involved in its production. There has also been a study showing lowered allopregnanolone levels in the cerebrospinal fluid of patients who used a drug with a similar effect and an overlapping side effect profile with Accutane.

Were there any particular symptoms that prompted your doctors to perform an MRI or suspect MS?

Did you become severely depressed or notice a lack of emotion during or soon after your course of Accutane?

EDIT: Has this been reported to the FDA and/or the manufacturer?

I am sooo sorry to hear this! I us talking back in the fall. If I remember correctly our parents didn't want you to stop Accutane. I will have to send you some info on M.S. and diet too that should help you. There are some reports of M.S. and people taking Accutane even going back to the 80's. Stay Strong!

Dubya_b thank you for that information. Everything I can learn is helpful. They did the MRI because I started getting incredibly painful headaches that had visual disturbances. sometimes everything would flip upside down and sometimes I just got double vision. They only last for 2-4 minutes but they are incredibly painful. They did the MRI and found the lesions. After that they started looking at other things happening to me. I had gotten depressed but I have a history of depression so I thought it read just that. I was also having balance problems and some back pain. All of that started about 4 months into my Accutane course but I did not really think anything of it all until recently. I also had numbness in my hands, feet, and face. That actually started after only 6 days on Accutane. They originally thought it was pernicious anemia but they now think it is related to the MS because the nerves are not damaged in my hands and feet but the numbness has continued even though my b12 has gone up. I have not reported it to the FDA or the manufacturer yet. How do I even go about doing that?

Oil girl I remember us talking as well. I did want to stop but ended up continuing and finishing my course. I was pressured into it by family but I really wish I had stopped.

Haileylyn95 I am so sorry to hear this! Honestly wish I could be of more help, but I do not know nearly enough to offer anything of substance. I'll have a look around when I have some free time, but to be honest I think Oli Girl will probably send you everything I could find. That and what acne1776 posted about!

In regards to reporting side effects, just see my 'signature' below you can report it to 4 different sources including the NHS, the FDA, Roche and Rxisk. I'm not sure where you're from but this may be something that you want to look into legal compensation if possible!

M.S is just toxins/acids (same thing) attacking the myelin, they are certainly brought from diet (dairy, grains, refined/transformed food & meat mainly) or it can be mercury if you have amalgams or took some vaccine during accutane. I had this problem with mercury, accutane enhanced my amalgam poisoning symptoms by 500%. Aluminium can be a problem too i believe. Everything that exhaust the nervous system like accutane or huge stress/emotional choc can cause toxins release. Herbs for your emunctory, specially kidney and a diet with only raw fruits & vegetables, specially a lot of fresh juiced raw vegetables for the bioavailable minerals -you are surely depleted- (juiced cause raw fiber too harsh with an inflamed intestine thanks to accutane), with that you should see huge improvement in less than 6month with that.

Interesting video for you [Edited video out]
its a little more complicated for accutane, you need a stronger detox with some herbs & should avoid meat but it's close to it.

About mercury only the cutler protocol is effective. For aluminum malic acid (apple for example), vitamin C & magnesium are the solution.

So now you're promoting the diet I follow. Oh the irony. That video is paleo to the letter. She even quotes Dr. Cordain the guy who brought paleo to the masses.

She promotes creatine (from red meat), omega 3 (fish) and so forth. Surely you should be abusing her for her 'arming diet'?

I knew about paleo since a long time and i already linked that video last year. Paleo is a bad diet but still a lot better than what the average people eat, that's why i precised it's good but you should avoid meat cause it's only facultative and not physiologic in those quantity, you should not eat more than 200-300gr of meat (raw preferably) per week but avoiding it completely is better. And i don't even talk about animal abuse & torture billions of animal experience everyday cause of dairy & meat industry.

I really wish I had kept a log going. Pics and videos. Something that could help everyone. Better later then never.

I have been off Accutane for ages now. Sadly, I am still battling what I believe to be side effects. Here, I intend share my experience with Accutane.

My skin is flawless. I don't worry about acne. I approach women. I date. I was seeing a few girls over the holidays. I left the gym one day and a girl left me her number. She asked I call her. Accutane gave me back my life.

It's been over a year and a half. Maybe two. My dermatologist finally prescribe Accutane when I told him I ordered it online. I was that desperate. He agreed to put me on it. It was terrible. I went to through join pain, blurry vision, chronic fatigue, and lip peeling. Red skin was horrible.

Even year or two almost later, I get dry eyes, thinned hair which I fixed as well as the hair loss stopped. I have smelly parts, poor bowel movements, chronic fatigue that comes and goes.

Only one blood test showed low potassium. I never was suicidal. Hair loss I combat with magnesium. I take a multi. I user milk thistle. Fish oils, probiotics, vitamin d, vitamin b, tyrosine, l carnitine, Siberian ginseng, ashwaganda, schisandra, rhodiola, astragalus, horny goat weed extract, zinc.

I hope the fatigue passes. For anyone considering Accutane, consider the options, and risks. I don't believe there is any going back. You burn the boats the second you use Accutane.

Let us know your progress in regards to improvements and if the effects last when you revert to a normal diet.

Indeed, I generally did a ketogenic diet for a couple of weeks before competing (martial arts), quickest way to drop a few kg's without too much lean mass lost. Should come back quick when you add the carbs back in, reason behind keto causing quick weight loss is due to glycogen depletion and for every gram of glycogen you store 3g of water. Seeing as the body can store something like 1-2kg of glycogen that's like 4-8kg that can be lost in like 1-2 weeks before fat loss really kicks in!

Ketogenic is from what i know the worst diet for those who suffer from accutane (and in general). Full of fat who will exhaust the liver even more, plus low amount of carbohydrate who is the main food for our cells (& minerals), who will give even more work to the liver to deal with. Why is that so difficult for people to eat physiologically... It is completely natural to feel sick like you say with a diet that starve all your cells.. and the necessity of those toxic stimulant to function (coffee, ..)
Apart from being less than ~1 year from last accutane dose, you will get more benefit from adding vitamin A than reducing it (my experience).
