As 1776 said, RSO is definitely what we need. I think anything except RSO is a waste of money personally. I've been supplementing with iodine now, among other things, and I think it has been helping a bit. I have about 10 things I do or take daily and the last few weeks I have been feeling healthier, happier, more social and on the right path. I am seeking RSO but you all know the story on that.
My current supplements (all top quality): vitamin d 3 (5000 iu), fish oil (both liquid and cap vectomega), iodine, omega 7 sea buckthorn, curamed (exta strength curcumin) , hemp seed oil, and for my sinuses I use terry naturally (Edited link out) products containing eucalyptus, myrtle and boswellia. I also just got a new water filter that removes fluoride (damn USA) so maybe that will help me very slightly.
synthetic supplement are useless but rso/cannabis isn't a solution too, sorry to say that but it's far more complex than taking cannabis to cure all of those physiologic problem.. the body doesn't need something added (except true food), he need to cleanse itself, maybe cannabis can stimulate the nervous system to enhance a natural cleanse but never heard of that, maybe cbd or thc in proper dosage (in too high dosage thc do the opposite, it exhaust the nervous system, at least in chronic use).
"new" info about gluten: http://www.greenmedinfo.com/blog/gluten-brain-wheat-cuts-blood-flow-frontal-cortex
Anonny you realise you're being pretty deterministic in what you're proposing? I.e it's your way or the highway. We've had several individuals recover with cannabis despite not only eating fruit and veg. There may in fact be more than 1 way to recover. Just like there are several different medicines for one disease.
Interesting observation I spotted just now. Those who are consuming cannabis in its most concentrated form are the ones recovering fastest. TA & AIP took cannabis oil in its most concentrated form (RSO) and took about 3 months-ish for AIP and 5 months for TA. Then we have individuals like DoneAt16 who took 18 months who just smoked a lot which is a far less potent form. SClippers was the same he smoked a lot and it sounds like it took a while, I don't know for sure how long but know it was a while. You would only spot this kind of correlation if there was something to it. Admittedly we need more subjects before coming to a firm conclusion, but there really does look like there is at least some evidence that this is the real deal.
Also anonny do you mind me asking what you do for a living? You've recovered yet seem to be on here all the time, are you a student or...?
I agree it seems that you (anonyy) are acting as though you are the one that is the most knowledgeable and quick to shoot down some ideas proposed. The research and testimonies are out there for RSO. The body is full of endocannabinoid receptors and people can heal from cancer (using RSO) in mere months when they maintain a proper diet and active lifestyle as well. I assume very few of us here are certified 'doctors' or in the medical field, but we have the ability to research and learn using our own methods. RSO seems like the real deal. We wouldn't have people here speaking of the benefits if it weren't.
On a side note, anyone else here suffer from GI problems have success treating it? I've been progressively getting worse since last fall. I've drastically changed my diet but I am getting more worried. Perhaps some of the slightest trigger foods can throw me off now.
That's why i said "maybe cannabis can stimulate the nervous system to enhance a natural cleanse but never heard of that". I'll add: maybe cannabis can cure intestine hyperpermeability and block the new toxins from passing into blood too. The main thing is to help the body detoxify itself, get rid of what prevent him from healing, same thing apply for cancer so if it work for it, maybe accutane too.. but without some diet change even if it's only adding few vegs juice and more fruits i don't believe it's possible.
We'll see if you success curing yourself with it anyway, it's possible even if there is a lot of "maybe", i'm just saying that there is other way to get health back, first by understanding physiology, hygienism + non-symptomatic natural techniques and applying what's needed.

Hey Volcom,
I had severe diarrhoea, severe bloating and a a bit pain too. I solved it with the 'Specific Carbohydrate Diet', literally 0 symptoms within a week of starting it. Depending on how damaged your gut is it depends on how strict the diet has to be. I beyond anything recommend 'Breaking The Vicious Cycle' by Elaine Gottschall. Read the amazon reviews for testimonials. I'm pretty sure I would have dropped out of uni and been on benefits if I hadn't solved my gastric issues as they were that bad.
I'm not too fussed by this because I'm just happy to be symptom free but any 'illegal' foods will give me my symptoms back. My gut seems to be slowly improving. For example I usually test now on a bi-weekly to monthly basis. At first (say March 2013) one bite of a slice of bread would give me all my symptoms back in full force. Now I've managed a whole pizza with only mild bloating without diarrhoea or pain.
I'm just going to say a disclaimer that I won't call this a cure for all gut issues related to 'tane. I say this because if you've read this whole thread there was another individual who went by the name JoeBuchignagi (or something similar) who couldn't eat fat at all, his diet consisted only of shrimp and rice. Which is pretty brutal, but he ended up recovering. So perhaps test the waters out with either method. Personally if I was to only eat rice and shrimp, the rice would leave me on the toilet constantly after a couple of days I'm sure.
Hope that helps,
Mike

Hey Mike,
Thank you so much for the lengthy response and great info. I can't remember if I mentioned I was seeing a naturopath doctor here, but I had my second appointment with her today. Coincidentally she mentioned the same diet to me and I think she even mentioned this book too. I am going to do some research and reading before bed and start this diet very soon. I also received my adrenal test (salivary) results from her. My cortisol levels are abnormally low and the curve actually goes slightly up towards the end of the day. The pattern I have is more or less opposite of what is ideal for cortisol levels and the adrenal glands. Ideally we want to wake up in the morning feeling refreshed and full of energy, but I am the opposite.
Anyway, I'm off all supplements for now until i take a stool sample on Friday and Sunday. Then I will restart my usuals + some new stuff for adrenals. That includes black licorice extract, some homeopathic UNDA numbered compounds for adrenals and colon/gut + a special dietary supplement for my adrenals. I don't trust any gastroenterologist, and the stool test is very comprehensive. I will be able to know if I have colitis or any form of IBD. I am going to look into that book and diet now. Thanks again my friend. Will update in the coming weeks I'm sure.

rice & shrimp to heal the intestine XD, nice joke. Avoiding gluten by taking rice is a big step but not really physiologic.
Anonny I've semi-ignored your posts for the last several pages but it needs pointing out again that you really are a detriment to this thread. Do you not have a job, family, loved ones who could do with your attention?
JoeBuchignagi clearly was someone deep in the trenches with his sides. He recovered by doing exactly that. His diet sounds equally as absurd as your own.
I just feel "forced" to answer to those huge misinformation. I think it's useless to try to do something here, you will never understand simply cause you are not interested to. You are ignorant who doesn't want to understand how the body truely work, physiology, and prefer take cannabis and other drugs, it's sad, really. You are the one with problems, i'm just trying to help cause i was sick, ignorant and took accutane like you, i had the same problems, if you don't want my "help" i really don't care you know.
I'm leaving if that's what you want, i think i tried enough. Good luck.
So some guy on the propeciahelp.com forum named CDnuts recovered 100% from all of his sides (sexual, neurological, numbness) with an exercise and diet protocol and a bunch of supplements to help return hormone function back to normal. I'd heard of him on that forum but I just read the thread last night and it seems like a plausible way to recover. Worth a read. Just thought I would point out that it IS possible to fully recover from this. Also good to know there is another thing on the checklist to try if need be.
That's what Anonyy has been saying for a while. I tried the paleo diet myself and it really helped, just lost too much weight so I quit. I think diet and abstaining from alcohol were the most important factors in CDnuts recovery
He wasn't just eating clean, he was also carb backloading which is supposedly good for hormone levels (although I haven't researched it yet, just going by what they're saying on that forum). I think taking androhard was probably key to his recovery as well as he claims it help him get his 5 alpha reductase enzymes working properly again. Unfortunately they no longer make androhard but there are similar products out there. If I were to try his regimen I would follow it exactly as I think everything he did contributed to his recovery.
Yea read all of the stuff on propeciahelp.com
It's exactly what I follow and have done for the best part of 3-4 years now.
Paleo diet - meat, fish, vegetables, fruit, nuts, seeds nothing else (anonny is adamant that eating some chicken after training is why my D is dysfunctional though -_-)
Resistance training + MMA
Indeed all this carb back loading stuff is interesting stuff, but more from a bodybuilding perspective than anything else. Now that I vape at night I get crazy munchies and eat about 500g of raisins before bed most nights, that's 345g fructose (carbohydrate), more than some of you probably consume in a day. So if that's why my D issues have been improving since vaping and not the cannabis itself, you're more than welcome to try it yourself.
If it was simply a case of hormones then I would notice a difference when I do heavy squats/deadlifts - 2 movements that have been shown to increase testosterone levels acutely. Or high rep squats or other lactic acid inducing exercise which can put up Growth Hormone concentrations by over a 1000% (no joke). Been doing this since I was like 12...
I do believe diet is key especially for gut issues. However, I also believe sometimes it just isn't enough.
Ottovisiual he also did high intensity interval training for exercise and took a pro hormone for DHT
Thanks, changed.
His whole recipe for recovery makes sense ofcourse.
Cleanse your body
Healthy diet
Exercise
Add supplements at points where your body needs them.
I'm going to make a strict protocol for the next year and stick to that. I focus on my own healing.
I force myself not going back here just to keep the positive mindset.
I will report back when I'm cured
As for now, my current symptons.
Loss of hair ( yet there are new ones coming out everyday, so thats probably a matter of time )
Dry skin.
Low Energy.
Underpowered brain.
Slow healing of wounds.
Old mans skin on my hands.
Digestive issues now and then.
I have been off the drug for about 7 years now, but been experiencing the symptoms like everyone else for about 3 years years.
The one that i feel has really affected me is the muscle and joint pain. It affects my upper back, yet over the past year I developed muscle spasms in my neck and it is excruciating. I don't now who else has experienced the extreme muscle spasms like myself, and needing to know if anyone has gotten any help that has worked for them.
Is there any medicine that can minimize the pain?
Again accutane as nothing to do with genetic (or epigenetic), this is scam & bs. But people with a body in an already bad state (before accutane), toxic & demineralized, yes, 100%
It's true about thyroid, accutane affect all glands, directly and indirectly.
Diet doesnt assist, diet = do no more arm & give your body what he's made to eat and what he need specially when sick, fruits & vegetables, this is the base of physiology. If you give your body food he's not physiologicaly supposed to eat, don't be surprise to not be in good health.
The body need to be re-mineralized (raw/juiced fruits vegs), accutane cause big mineral loss (directly and by inducing acidity/toxicity). Also he need to be assisted to eliminate all of his toxins/acids & natural waste (acne is an elimination) with flushs or herbs, accutane damage the emunctories (skin is the third kidney), and specially the intestine & liver (liver isn't a "true" emunctory).
You can tell your friend to stop dairy + acidic foods & drink (meat, soda, etc.) to fix a big part of the calcium problem. Anything that contain soy too, the worst thyroid poison.
GO HOME ANONYY YOU'RE DRUNK.
This sentence: Again accutane as nothing to do with genetic (or epigenetic), this is scam & bs. But people with a body in an already bad state (before accutane), toxic & demineralized, yes, 100% was an answer to this:
Accutane has clearly damaged something, likely in those who are already genetically vulnerable.
I've put colors, like that it's easier for you to understand.
Don't try to displace my thoughts by putting them out of context, thanks.
edit: But i think that you didn't understood anything at all sadly... (for you)

Your symptoms are exactly the same as mine (and many others of course). Have you had your adrenals / cortisol levels tested? I've confirmed I have noticeable adrenal issues through comprehensive salivary tests. Anything off in the endocrine system can influence a lot of other aspects of our body. When our endocrine system and gut are not functioning properly it is going to cause a bunch of other problems too. I am now changing my diet even more to the specific carbohydrate diet (thanks for also suggesting Mike) and implementing more of a routine exercise program as well.
Hey guys,
I am looking for some feedback on a protocol that I am planning on undertaking. My main objective is to cleanse my body and strengthen my organs. I have undertaken a Paleo diet starting two weeks ago and plan to continue this. I blend juices and plan on getting a juicer too. I started organic gardening last year and although fruits are not grown well in my climate, I will have plenty of veggies. It also keeps me busy and focused on good health. Here are the things I plan on doin:
1. Andrew Morwitz gallbladder/liver cleanse-Has anyone done this and if so, what were the results? In the beginning of the thread Chico purposed the idea that we all now have a lack of bile flow which would not allow us to pass any stones? Has anyone passed these gallbladder stones?
2. I plan to make a DIY cholema board(at home colonics) to remove possible further gall stones.
3. Kidney Cleanse-plan to do one before and after the above mentioned cleanse. Plan on using Dr. Clark's Cleanse along with her herbs she recommends. Any experiences here?
3. I also need to heal my gut and feel this should be the first step. I plan on eating fermented foods and taking a probiotic. Is there anything else I should do to strengthen my gut? I do not suffer from leaky gut syndrome and if I do have IBS, it is very rare gastrointestinal inflammation.
4. Will these cleanse also cleanse my lymph system? If not, what protocol should I follow?
I plan on using herbs for this process.
So what are your guys' thoughts about this protocol? Any feedback about reviews or proper order of protocol is greatly appreciated, especially if you have tried these specific cleanses. I want to start trying to strengthen my body first and see how it responds, rather than starting with lots of supplements.
Thanks guys for your help and stay focused on the positive elements in your lives.! I know it's cheesy to say and not as easy to just live for today and not stress about the future, but were not promised tomorrow. This helps me and I've been where everyone has been at for awhile now. You finally will start to release from the anger, anxiety and fear a bit because it becomes too tiresome. Don't get me wrong, I'm still pissed off and wish I could hit a reset button, but it doesn't consume my every thought like it used to. Like others here have said, don't allow it to control your life. That doesn't mean we have to give up and not strive for a healthier life, but don't let the fear control your life. Try and enjoy family, nature, whatever takes your mind of the anxiety and fear. We all have probably worried about dying from this or living in constant pain for the rest of our lives. Take my word for it, I've had plenty of panic attacks over the last 12 years. This is hard because most of us are all young and want to live long healthy lives. Im 28 and yea when I think of the pain, it seems like it can be a long miserable life, but why worry so much about the future when I could die tomorrow. I'm not willing to give in. All the stress would have been a waste of time and prohibited us from living everyday. I am a hypochondriac and one life lesson I have learned from personal experience is that I worry and freak out about the very worst possibility, but almost every single time, it never ends up happening. Mindfulness-live in the moment. As you get older and further away from the time you took the drug, it becomes a little bit easier to tolerate. God willing we get better and not get worse. I wish everyone the best and thank everyone for sharing their stories and information. I have hope together we can persevere. God bless guys!
Was doing some research and came accross this: http://www.webmd.com/digestive-disorders/features/specific-carbohydrate-diet-review - a review of that diet. I'm sure it's information you already expected/knew, but just wanted to share so people know/you are sure to be well-informed.
It's no secret, however, that diet has always been key in some way. You don't even have to change what you eat if you just eat a small amount of it. Two fistfuls of food and no more per sitting and (I don't want to say 100% and apply to all people but..) you will definitely see benefits. Obviously if you change your diet you also will, but keep with the portion rule even still.
My two cents about THC/CBD.. I smoked before, during, and long after taking Accutane. It did not help me at all, and maybe made my dryness (due to digestion complications) worse. CBD by itself has helped my skin, refreshed my brain (it normalizes brain functioning), and helped with anxiety all in the short term. Unfortunately I can't get on a regular/long term schedule with it because I seem to be overly sensitive to its cognitive effects and even just a few drops puts me on my ass, so to speak, and I feel retarded for the day until it clears and then I feel better than before I took it. Going to try 1-2 drops only, but not looking good.
***When I took CBD and then smoked (so I got THC in me as well).. I can say.. I felt perfect. THC and CBD work synergistically, so that doesn't come as a surprise, but that leaves users needing to illegally obtain the gange and either make their own oil or smoke after taking CBD. Can't say what the longterm effects would be for that either. Also, there seem to be reports surfacing that long term/chronic CBD use actually creates anxiety rather than relieves it. I would say if anything to take it in cycles.

Is your brain "feeling refreshed" permanent or was that only while you were under the influence of CBD? I'm curious if CBDs normalizing brain function is permanent or if it is just while it is in your system. Although I believe it is said to actually repair the brain and cause a physiological change in it so it should be a permanent effect. It may take a hell of a lot of those dew drops you're taking to get that effect though. Also I'm not sure why a few drops would be putting you on your ass when that is a very low dose of CBD and low doses are stimulating.
I saw that study regarding "long term" CBD usage causing anxiety and in the study they only gave the rats CBD for 2 weeks so I don't really understand how that can be indicative of long term usage. I have read that too high a dose of CBD causes anxiety though. I don't think it would be a problem with us because in studies they gave people 600 mg of CBD and saw a reduction of anxiety so I'm not sure how much it would take for it to become anxiogenic.
Just a heads for anyone who cares; I'm going to leave this forum as well as the others for a while now. Taking up far too much time and is interfering with my studies. I'm going to continue doing what I'm doing and will let you know how I get on in the coming months. I will still be pro-active - the upcoming protest, alongside putting my research in front of any doctor who takes it half seriously. If you see me back on here within the next month, please abuse me till I leave.
Cheers,
Mike
Hey do any of you guys have graying hair? I started seeing stray greys couple of years ago but now they are certainly noticeable on the sides. I'm white with blonde hair. No history of early graying in the rest of my fam.? My dad didn't start graying until he was in his 50's. Don't know about mom's side. I'm 12 years out and started to see grays probably 10 years out. If this is caused by accutane, which I think it was, what do you think causes this?
I won't ask about the wrinkles, because that is useless.
I know everyone doesn't get affected the same, but I had just dry skin issues right after and most of the years. Now I have more severe sides like premature aging after about 10 years and more inflamation. It's hard not to believe in the premature aging hayflick thing.Whats the point of having hair if its all grey? yehah. Good thing I look like a mad arian when i shaved my head! Damnit! Hey at least theirs hats:)
