Buy an aloe plant and use the sticky gel inside the leaves for your skin and hair. It works wonders and the smell goes away so don't worry about that. It's also good for reducing wrinkles. There's loads of info online and at youtube showing detailed ways of using the aloe. In my experience, the commercial aloe gels have too many additional chems added to them.
Dry mouth leads to more cavities, gingivitis, and overall tooth and gum decay. Biotene has mouthwash, gels and sprays to help with dry mouth. I've always used just a little bit of vaseline on the inside of my nose to help with the dryness that causes my bloody noses.
I play brain games or memory games to keep my mind sharp. Games actually do stimulate your brain, they aren't just for fun.
last but not least, medicinal marijuana (where legal) can help reduce your anxiety (sativas promote social behavior and stimulate your creative mind but indicas will bring you down, reduce your desire to interact but will aid in sleep and reduce pain) but it will also cause your mouth to be dry so keep some sugar free hard candies or that Biotene mouth gel handy.
Good luck to you
If your going to take cod liver oil make sure to supplement with vitamin d3 as well. The blue ice brand has a lot of vitamin d in it so thats probably the safest. The D3 protects against hypervitaminosis A symptoms, around 2000iu per day will help in relation to this. K2 is also very important as it has a synergy with vitamin A and vitamin d3, the three of them work together. Joseph's taking high butter oil for the K2 but if you plan on supplementing with a pill or capsule make sure you opt for the MK-7 kind as it is derived from natto, whereas almost all the MK-4 in pill form is synthetic so that should be avoided.
Thyroid's important especially t3 as it shares receptors with d3 and vitamin A, likewise a magnesium supplement because it's the most common deficiency in the world, magnesium is essential for glucuronidation, which is important where accutane is concerned.
Made an interesting finding today. Everybody who saw some success with UDCA should listen up. Read the post below, I would argue that anybody who has had success with UDCA is likely also going to benefit from the supplements mentioned below.
Google translation of German wikipedia entry regarding choleretics.
http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Choleretikum
Choleretics (singular: the Choleretikum) are drugs that stimulate the liver cells to increased secretion of bile.
Among the natural substances act ox bile (Fel tauri), bile acids (especially the semi-synthetically produced dehydrocholic acid), sodium sulphate (Glauber's salt) and magnesium sulfate (Epsom salt), bile stimulating.Plant-based artichoke, horsetail, thyme, garlic, Common Lavender, Dandelion, cumin, Peruvian bark, radish, milk thistle, lemon balm, celandine, pumpkin and menthol are used.Curcumin contained in turmeric plant cholekinetisch and choleretic effect. In addition, this plant contains the active substance p-bile Tolylmethylcarbinol.Synthetically produced choleretics are Azintamid, Febuprol, Fenipentol, Menbuton and Piprozolin.A substance having spasmolytic and choleretic properties Hymecromon.Previously designated to these agents together with the Cholekinetika (which drain the gallbladder) as cholagogues.
That bile acids cause DNA damage and may select for apoptosis-resistant cells (both leading to increased mutation), indicates that bile acids are likely carcinogens. In humans, an increased incidence of cancer of the laryngopharyngeal tract, esophagus, stomach, pancreas, the small intestine (near the Ampulla of Vater) and the colon are associated with high levels of bile acids. The much larger number of cell generations in the colonic (and, likely, other gastrointestinal) epithelia of humans compared to rodents may allow time for induction and selection of mutations leading to cancer in humans, although not in rodents.

But what if you have low levels of bile salts, that is probably not healthy either. At the end of the day it is substance produced by the body itself, so it is needed for survival.

reviews are amazing
the question for me is how am I going to get the stuff to Europe
there are services shipping it to you for a small charge. collective order?
I am more concerned with getting it through customs, although these are mainly whole food supplements and the packaging states
These statements have not been evaluated by the Food & Drug Administration. These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
Well, of course UDCA is an over-the-counter product in your part of the World; its a burgeoning industry because of charlatans like you; you dont really need it, but youre convinced otherwise. I love that you have gone back to your 'threatening' avatar; I don't think anyone approved of Mickey in the trap.
The methods of milking, or gallbladder bile extraction, are truly gruesome. One method (as depicted in the video) involves the insertion of a stainless steel or latex catheter into the bears body. Originally developed in the mid-1980s, this technique is still widely used despite it now being illegal. The catheter is inserted through a hole in the bears abdomen and attached to the gall bladder. The outer end is left to protrude from the bears abdomen for bile collection. A variation of this technique involves the end of the catheter being fitted to a detachable plastic bag.
From the same source you quote let me quote the following.
Bear bile has been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for over 3000 years. It contains ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA), which is believed to reduce fever, protect the liver, improve eyesight, break down gallstones, and act as an anti-inflammatory. It is also believed to be an effective treatment for chronic stomach disease and heart disease and is touted as a general cure for all ills.
So let's assume UDCA has been used for over 3000 years in TCM as stated by your source.
Some people may conclude that UDCA must bee working then, otherwise they'd not been using it for such a long time? Wrong! People are irrational and have been doing all kinds of retarded things over and over for hundreds and some for thousands of years. Everybody can probably come up with examples themselfes and I am sure there are many examples to be found in TCM.
Now, what is interesting is that conventional western medicine is extremely sceptic of TCM. However, out of the hundreds of TCM medications that exist UDCA was one of the few that was incorporated and adopted by western medicine. A lot of studies are available on the internet regarding the application, benefits, risks and dangers of UDCA, it was adopted with a passion.
Now, you say Joseph does not need UDCA, who are you to judge? Have you ever taken the drug? I did and worked great for me. It works great for Joseph. If I could take it permanently without any harm I'd do it.
I am not taking UDCA anymore and don't plan to ever use it again. However, just consider this: If UDCA produced no benefits at all it would most likely never have lasted 3000 years in TCM just to subsequently be adopted by western medicine.
Upping the ante for uselessness, Camaroz now cites the gruesome extraction process for natural UDCA, as some sort of indictment of synthetic UDCA. By similar logic, nobody should wear synthetic diamonds because the natural diamond trade causes war in Africa.
The skull in my avatar represents the pitiless reality of biological law and physical pain. It is indeed an emblem of fear - but intended as a reminder to myself, not as a way to impress others. It is what *I* fear, above all else. And I have earned the right to that fear, by countless long, slow, unbearable, hopeless hours of torment.
The amusing thing about your effeminate narcissism is that when called on it, you proved the point by having a meltdown and getting yourself banned. Then you reconfirmed it by working even harder to win back the approval of the group and take down your perceived enemy. It's undignified and unbecoming, but a narcissist shunned will go to any lengths to regain the acceptance of the group.
Even if, as in this case, it means creating unnecessary work for the (likely unpaid) moderators of a large and charitable forum.

Yo camaro! Why do you keep antagonizing these supplement salesmen and the guy with I B.S.? After a half dozen pointless retorts to your comments have been posted, they only add to the wasted space in this thread. Also, it's beginning to appear as if everyone who became SEVERELY screwed from taking accutane has been scared away by the endless pages of squabbling.
btw- I'm very curious about who has gone so far as to harass you on your propeciahelp account?
Hey guys looks like someone got ahold of my account lol. Sorry about that. This is Maweeoh. No one in real life really knows my account so I'm not sure how and I think mods might changed my pw because it doesn't work. When I found out I sorta said, 'eff it too lazy' but I could use some advice. The cod liver oil I have used ( Carlsons) has only been causing me breakouts from here on out. It started out great but now is causing me painful cystic acne. Is this normal? I wanna stick with it but a few problems also I am concerned about. It seems to be causing me large amounts of fatigue, and dark hair growth on body. It also caused me a bit of eye dryness. Seems similar to Accutane. Yeah, I know. Bet you're thinking, good thing you didn't take Accutane, stupid girl. Been taking a tablespoon now but had started off on teaspoon per day. I was stuck in bed all day so sleepy. I quit it last night and was actually able to wake up this morning. Did you guys get that with the one you took? Or did you just experience theses symptoms with Accutane? Thanks in advance, and would like to get my account back later, if possible.

You should be taking Blue Ice with royal butter , much better product.

Because it is similar to Accutane. You are likely ingesting toxic amounts of natural vitamin A (cod liver oil contains extremely high amounts of vitamin A), rather than a synthetic form of vitamin A(Accutane).
Please read the Adverse Events section of the wiki page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cod_liver_oil
...And if you don't believe me or wikipedia, then ask oli girl how well cod liver oil supplementation has worked out for accutane victims in the past.

Joseph's been taking Blue Ice with no problems , no doubt it his high very high in NATURAL Vitamin A , and D but it has something else vitamin
K2 from the royal butter so it's a bit different than your standard cod liver oil , It's also made in a old school way , in regards to vitamin A and D
toxicity those studies were all done on SYNTHETIC vitamins. The whole point of getting Fermented CLO is that the vitamins and minerals are
natural and work synergistically with each other like they do in other whole foods. I read natural forms of vitamin A need at least ten times the
amount or more in order to become toxic to the human body vs synthetic versions.
The claim that vitamin A in cod liver oil is toxic just doesnt make sense in the context of traditional diets, which were very rich in vitamin A from
liver, organ meats, seafood and the fats of grass-fed animals. The crux of Dr. Prices research is that the diets of healthy primitive peoples
contain about ten times more vitamin A than modern diets.
Joseph , years ago a nutritionist told me that taking 30,000 IUs of vitamin A per day has a similar effect on acne as Accutane, but is safer. She said
to do it only for three months. Too much vitamin A affects bone growth, so you must be careful.
But here is a woman named Mel who has been taking it I got this from a CLO blog , here is what she said.
Not that you need another testament for CLO, but just or the record, I have had acne (BAD.. oily, red skin and tiny little bumps that more resemble a rash than acne all over my face.chest/neck) since I was 11. I am now 22 and have tried everything under the sun (including allergy testing, homeopathic stuff, antibiotics, the pill, you name it, and yes, Accutane). Accutane worked. And then I stopped taking it. And it stopped working. Acne was back.
Then. CLO! Green Pastures. I take it plain, a tablespoon every day. Swallow it and follow it with something strong to drown the taste. And I glow, like you said. Acne gone. Skin smooth. Its a MIRACLE. I have never been so happy, so confident, or so surprised by what got me here.
CLO for anyone, mild to severe acne. Give it a try!
So it seems it's not THAT dangerous to take.

What point are you trying to make Gladiatoro? Is opium is much safer than oxycontin because it is natural?
From the wiki page on vitamin A:
In foods of animal origin, the major form of vitamin A is an ester, primarily retinyl palmitate, which is converted to retinol (chemically an alcohol) in the small intestine. The retinol form functions as a storage form of the vitamin, and can be converted to and from its visually active aldehyde form, retinal. The associated acid (retinoic acid), a metabolite that can be irreversibly synthesized from vitamin A, has only partial vitamin A activity, and does not function in the retina for the visual cycle. Retinoic acid is used for growth and cellular differentiation.[6]
- Retinol, the form of vitamin A absorbed when eating animal food sources, is a yellow, fat-soluble substance. Since the pure alcohol form is unstable, the vitamin is found in tissues in a form of retinyl ester. It is also commercially produced and administered as esters such as retinyl acetate or palmitate.[8]
The carotenes alpha-carotene, beta-carotene, gamma-carotene; and the xanthophyll beta-cryptoxanthin (all of which contain beta-ionone rings), but no other carotenoids, function as provitamin A in herbivores and omnivore animals, which possess the enzyme (15-15'-dioxygenase) which cleaves beta-carotene in the intestinal mucosa and converts it to retinol.[9] In general, carnivores are poor converters of ionine-containing carotenoids, and pure carnivores such as cats and ferrets lack 15-15'-dioxygenase and cannot convert any carotenoids to retinal (resulting in none of the carotenoids being forms of vitamin A for these species).
Most supplemented vitamin A found in multivitamins is in the form of beta-carotene (NATURAL), whose molecule needs to be cleaved by enzymes before becoming active metabolites, meaning the body can limit this process by lowering the enzyme, thus preventing toxicity (but you will turn yellow if too much is ingested).
NOTICE THE OTHER SUPPLEMENTED FORMS ARE RETINYL ACETATE AND PALMITATE, BOTH ABSORBED WHEN EATING ANIMAL FOOD SOURCES.
THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE, THE NATURAL AND MANUFACTURED FORMS ARE BOTH THE SAME MOLECULE.
Maybe Polar Bear liver would be a better source of natural vitamin A than cod liver oil: http://science.howstuffworks.com/zoology/mammals/eat-polar-bear-liver1.htm
...and is this your exalted your Dr. Price?: http://www.quackwatch.com/01QuackeryRelatedTopics/holisticdent.html
btw- Could you please explain to "playsomebeat", who posted her experience with cognitive and sexual side effects after taking NATURAL saw palmetto that you recommend, how she is mistaken and it must have been some synthetic food additive.

So it seems it's not THAT dangerous to take.
Most of the people on acne.org who share their experience with Accutane do not develop severe side effects.
Does that mean Accutane is not THAT dangerous to take then?
I just don't get your angle, or reason for posting here.
What were your side effects from accutane?
