It's nice that you are optimistic, however, considering the lack of information on what exactly is causing this effect, we cannot posit any mechanisms by which it may abate. Penile and testicular atrophy in steroid users can be permanent.

Notify your doctor and request a serum profile for:

-blood count

-triglyceride and cholesterol levels

-luteinizing hormone

-prolactin

-thyroid stimulating hormone

-estradiol

-testosterone (free and binded)

-dihydrotestosterone (dht)

-3alpha-androstanediol glucuronide (he might refuse to do this one if he is aware that Accutane reduces 5-AR activity)

-vitamin a (retinol)

Do you notice a decrease in the size of the penis when flaccid or erect? Do you experience any other symptoms, e.g. coldness or firmness of the penile body tissue when flaccid?

Assuming this isn't a cock and ball story: Use your head... this is how accutane is known to work: by shrinking the glans (i.e. the part that emits whiteish gunk). You should try to bring it up with your derm. I know it wood be hard but please don't hold it against him.

i think accutane my also have an unregisterd effect on peoples sense of humour as well.

You just loss your libido for a while nothing to worry i doubt it shrinks prob just doesnt give proper errection,i guess your just not getting the appropriate amount of blood flow but dont worry everything will be fine by itself soon,i had the same problem but its normal.

well if its noticibly smaller when errect then u shud worry. if its just smaller when its...not errect then dont worry. and call male doctor or just ask for a male derm.
