Ok, hello everyone. My name is Albert im from Spain and im on month 1 week 3 of my accutane course (40mg/day)
I ve noticed I break out some times when I shave. I usually shave like 1 or 2 times a week with an electronic machine. I think it isnt really good because I can't clean it properlly after using it so the stuff inside is maybe going into my pores..
I wanted to know the best choice to shave 1 or 2 times a week when you are on accutane or moderate acne.(check my gallery)
Thanks a lot,
Albert
Use the razor that has this kind of edge:
The con is that you can only trim the hairs down really short where they are noticeable from a close distance. There is absolutely no irritation, though.

Hi there, i have a sensitive, so w i use Gilette Sensor Excel as my shaver and it really soft..i also use Simple Hair Conditoner that is fragrance free and contain chamomile an anti inflamatory ingredient..dont use the normal shaving cream or gel coz it can cause sensitivity..find a good hair conditoner that is light in texture, fragrance free and contain anti inflamatory ingredients..While u on Accutane, using a bit heavier cream wont cause breakout as your skin is really dry.
I started using an electric razor when I had acne on my chin. Since I've been on accutane I haven't found the electric razor to be irritating my skin.
If you have acne on your chin get an electric razor, especially while on accutane. Or do you consider slicing your face up every morning to be "less irritating" than using an electric razor?
