I would have loved to say I didn't have any acne for a couple of weeks atleast but this week I did have 2 small white heads. No big deal, came and gone in 2 or 3 days.

I just hope and pray I stay clear now after reaching my cumulative dose.

I've still got some red marks but they will hopefully keep fading and hopefully my skin thickens out again because it has some textual issues and slight scaring.

In regards to side effects

I am beginning to feel fatigued
My bones / muscles do feel slightly sore
General dryness - especially my eyes
Skin sensitivity

Looking from where I have come I am extremely pleased with the results. 

I'll update this every so often to keep everyone informed but hopefully my acne is now gone. Or atleast at a level that is 'normal'

Hey, there is an [removed] that is extremely helpful and people on there are very supportive of each other. I think your story would be an inspiration for the folks on the [removed] who have been having a bad time due to their acne and this will definitely give them hope and a morale boost.

Yea man i hope it does for you too bro! I bet it will though, just smooth sailing and getting back to normal skin for you now lol.

I am not doing too good in the accutane department. My skin is still worse than when i started especially in my neck area. Im on 3 months and about to start my 4th next week and this shit is sucking so far. I might raise my dose to 30 or 40mgs, but not sure. At my last check up my derm didnt want to raise my mgs even if i did want to because of the breakout I was experiencing, but when i see her next week, I will see what she says.

You should definitely go out and celebrate or something! Huge accomplishment from when we first posted on each others log to now...time flies by quick man

Itll get better man. Obviously our derms had different routes for treatment. My IB sucked but then I think accutane kicked in faster because of the higher doses. And obviously with the higher dose then the time needed is reduced.

I'm not gonna celebrate until I get my wedding over and my skin is still clear (I pray), gonna focus on water intake, keep taking my vitamins and start weights again when I've recovered a bit

Hi guys, all is well, how are you guys?

in regards to skin, I am stilling getting acne but it is very little and the actual spots are just small white heads which disappear after 2 days with little redness. 

My skin does get red now and again though when I've been exercising or shaving, showering etc. (Which it is in these pictures, after a shower)

Side effects, my lips are still slightly dry, I need to apply balm morning and night, skin is still slightly dry so I'm still moisturising which I will drop eventually to 1 time a day. In regards to everything else it's back to normal.

Just under 2 weeks until I get married! I will say though, I've noticed my face to have a lot more freckles than usual, don't know if this is anything to do with acctuane.

Hey! It was an awesome day, I still have my hyperpigmentation etc. But my skin looked pretty good thankfully, no holiday now and still getting some acne, nothing serious though.

Hi guys, just an update. Still getting acne, some weeks worse than others.

Not having a great day with it today but it's no wear near as bad as it used to, it's very mild now plus I've learned to live with accepting it more now.

My face has pigmentation and some erythema still on it, as well as some very faint scarring. It adds character, that's how I look at it, haha.

Hope everyone is keeping well.

The acne thatyou are getting, is it cystic? Also, did the redness (flushing of face) from when you were on accutane go away? Are you still experiencing any side effects since you been off the medicine?

I am on my last month (8th) and still get small blemishes...they are pimples but like the beginnings of pimples that never raise...hard to explain. Im afraid that since im not totally clear, the acne will just come back, but I have my fingers crossed.

90% of the acne I'm getting is small white heads which disappear pretty quick, only now and again do I get a deep spot.

Yeah I've got no real flushing now at all, and I've got no side effects that I know of. I still moisturise my lips but I think it's out of habit more than anything. Hope it all goes well for you dude!

Congrats on your transformation! I'm currently on my 4th week with just 20mg, got pretty much all the side effects you had. I also noticed your hands become sore in the initial weeks, I've got the same! Did it end up going or did you get something prescribed for it? I'm hoping my skin will begin to improve. Congrats once again!

The skin on my hands healed after I went of Accutane. Just used hand cream sometimes. Your skin isn't bad bro, everything will heal up quick for you!

Ahhh I see! Nothing too serious then! I hope so! Only on 20mg at the min, maybe the doc will up the dose in the next few weeks. Such a slow process.

just thought I'd update you guys, about a year since I took my last tablets.

I still get acne now and again, some weeks are better than others. But I usually don't get it deep spots anymore, just smallish white heads.

I still take vitamin c e and zinc in the morning, I wash my face with water and use la Roche moisturiser if my skin dries out.

At night I wash my face with acne.org cleanser just to get all of the daily oil etc. Washed off.
