Hi!
Your skin looks like it is making really great progress, Congrats! Just a few questions... Do you have any facial flushing, burning or broken capillaries on your cheeks? These things go along with Rosacea, but this doesn't really look like Rosacea to me...

My skin always has been red around the cheeks no stops near the eyes. I don't think I have any of those symptoms but what else would it be? I'm unsure and I'm just trying to make a sense out of it. Could it be my skin has just been so irritated over the years that it turned red? My face has been getting super hot lately. Usually after being in he sun I'll feel the after effects an hour later when I sit down for a break. I'm so scared I just want to go away

By looking at the pics, I have extremely bad roseaca. I never noticed I had it but I guess that's what my acne was to begin with. It said online that rosecea was irritated skin with papules and pustules which is exactly what I had. I don't have any active zits. It's all acne marks and roseaca and I really don't know what to do. I'm starting my third month tomorrow so I'm guessing the answer is to remain patient. The big problem with people with acne and accurate is that once your pimples r gone you're gonna be left with red akin marks and scars. Any tips to help with what I have?

i also have lots of dark spots..no active pimples(atleast something good)..i use calamine lotion..its been like a week..but i can say that its working..you can give it a try

Hmmm... I don't know what else the redness can be, it could be Rosacea as sunlight can be a trigger and a feeling of hotness happens too. If the getting hot part started after Accutane, I wonder if it could be a side effect. I have heard of facial flushing (redness, hotness, sometimes burning) as a side effect of Accutane, you should ask your Doctor, but I have heard that it can go away after the course is finished, although it can take a very long time (a year or two). Good luck!

I had my doctor today and he said not to worry. He said my skin is very inflamed because the medicine is working very well but idk. I don't feel like it is even though I've heard different. He said it's gonna go away with the course. It's gonna be noticeable for a little while after the course but it should be gone permantely after which is good.

Had my visit today and he recommended I stay on 60 my for this month which means I might have to be on the medicine for another month so instead of five it's six months. This is was terrible news for me as I'm just trying to be done with the medicine by now. I asked him about the roseaca he said not to worry as your skin is just responding that way. He said it's inflamed right now but it's doing very good right. As for acne marks he said that the pimples there r still active there which is why it won't go away right now. He said expect some more good stuff soon so I'm glad for that. Also he wanted me to stay on 60 because I've been getting a bit depressed and dry. Other than that back to the grind and hopefully after his month we will just take it for march and April and done

Yeah, I had heard of others who have had redness as an effect of Accutane. They said exactly what you Doctor said, that it would resolve after the course is finished. They said theirs took at least a year to totally go away, but at least the good news is that it will eventually go away andyours could go away muchquicker!I am sorry that you havean extramonth, but after coming this far you definitely want to make sure the acne is good and gone. And I think that your skin is looking much better!Don't worry! You got this!

I'm in desperate need of help. Today I got hit with a light saber in the mouth in class. The area right below my lip was super swollen however icing has gone significantly down. The only problem is that it tore off my skin with it. So I got left with a mark missing a layer of skin. It literally looks like I got burned or something. My question is if my skin will grow back in that area. I know acne marks take to fade away but is that the same idea as cuts. Like I want my skin to grow back immediately and I know on accurate that skin regeneration process is super slow. How long will it take to go back to normal. Has someone experienced something similar?

the cuts should heal much faster..and you should leave your skin alone for sometime.. just let Accutane do its and not think about it too much

I'm so convinced that food makes a major difference. For the most part I eat healthy. I'm always that one friend that eats salad and fruits. However for the super bowl I went all out. I ate like 7 cookies 5 slices of pizza and a whole bag of chips throughout the weekend. This is the first time in a year that I've had cookies primarily because acne but ya this week I went all out. I broke out because of it I'm sure. Skin is looking better though. My marks are still here and I still have active pimples that have been on my face from like the start but they're so small that it barely bothers me anymore

Oh bro trust me I just went through that month. My face was completely red and I'm still getting spots. I've been getting spots on my forehead which are super concerning. And they hurt too.  The tiny bumps are actually good because it means they're coming out now. I know your face is red and stuff and it's annoying but get rid of it sooner than later. Please put sunscreen on though. Try icing your face on the small bumps and use some cetaphil. Cetaphil is the absolute best. I put in once in he morning and once at night and it solves everything. I try to eat healthy now too because when I didn't last week I broke out on my forehead the pimples hurt a lot so try reducing your salt dairy and sugar intake

I think I jinx myself. Skin is super red because I'm in the sun. But like I got a blind pimple or cyst outta nowhere. I'm assuming blind pimple because it doesn't hurt or itch. I've had the identical pimple there too like last month exactly. I got broke out on my forehead where I got two pimples. That's super rare for me I usually don't break out on my forehead. Idk why I always break out before school is about to start up again. The pimple on my crown is huge and I think arose out of stress. Yesterday I broke down with stress and that's primarily the reason I have acne. Pimples are going away  lot faster which I enjoy. Today is also the tenth day of the third month and my doctor said I should stop breaking out by the end of this month. Also he said my face being red is a really good thing. I've never had redness like that until I started accutane and he said it's good be it means it's working very well so no roseaca

Bad news. First off do not try to pop your pimples on accutane. I tried to pop that mammoth in the pic above and boom it popped. It all came out but low and behold it swelled up as a mother fucker. It looks huge and I'm so irritated right now because I'm going to school tomorrow. I always get my hopes up in a sense but it always goes downhill when school starts

I use episoft (similar to cetaphil)..but its just that I'm in halfway of the third month on this medicine.. There should have been considerable improvement..but no.. Talk about scars.. Forget improvement.. I notice more dark spots on my face since the past 8-10 days and the tiny bumps to make it look worse.. I'll probably see the doctor on Tuesday..tell her all this and lets see what she says

Not too sure why but I got two pimples that are pretty bad. They were pretty small and I had thought nothing of them but they started to get big out of nowhere. Does anyone else get that or is it just me where you'll get a big pimple in the matter of hours. Idk but they're both super tender and I tried to pop one of them a little while ago and it made it bigger. I know I shouldn't but sometimes u just can't help it. They're also creating marks which is what I'm more worried about. It's probably because I have fair skin. Also they kinda hurt like sometimes I'll lay my face on the pillow and I'll feel pain in that area. It's not a cyst I know that probably a blind pimple but still rather painful. My skin is definitely getting better but hopefully by the end of this month I won't be getting pimples and my marks can start to clear up

Man guess it's not a good week. Skin is getting super red and the big pimple I popped and my skin literally peeled so bad. It looked like a blister on your hand. Anyways I popped it but it's still big as hell. Idk I'm hoping it will be gone by Monday but that's literally the only thing I have. Just those two pimples and then I'll be clear so like I'm excited but the pimples have been there for so long. The big at least since Wednesday and the other one since Thursday

glad that its going fine for you..i decided to skip the tablets for a few days till i see my derm..the side effects have become UNBEARABLE. Lots of nee pimples and dark spots and my face is always like a sandpaper no matter how much i moisturize. Right now..i am no good than what i started with, now I regret taking these shitty costly tablets

Ya at this point I have one active spot but my face is pretty red which my doctor said is resulting from the medicine. I believe this month will be the best of them all
