Bad news you guys..

My baby (car) is stalling every time I come to a stop.. I have the worst luck in the world.

My dad took it to a shop right now where the guy we knew is super nice and knows all about volkswagens, especially my 88 one.. so hoping he'll be super nice about fixing it, and the price.

I started crying Now I'm all red and blotchy and in a bad mood.. I think I'll take a long, cool shower tonight and paint my room and try to relax..

I hope this doesn't cost a lot..

Sorry about your cheek zit

My chin is freaking out lol, I got 3 new actives while asleep, they're somewhat small which is good, but it looks gross. I also have 4 healing on the other side.. pfft.

The only area that is clear is my forehead

My cheeks are okay... not the greatest. The big honker is still healing, and then I have a lot of healers on my cheeks which suck, but at least they aren't actives right? Bleh.

I'm trying to stay positive though!

 

It's okay, I know it will go away soon! It just sucks that I had no actives for one day only, hahaha.

Healers are better than actives! I hate actives. Hopefully the rest of your actives start to heal! I think they will. 🙂

Day 87

I noticed last night that I am developing a new zit on the left side of my cheek. Eh...oh well. It hasn't really surfaced yet, but it's pink and I know it's going to get bigger. It looks like it is going to turn into a whitehead. I just hope it doesn't get really big.

Everything else is still in the lovely process of healing that seems to want to take forever.

 

Mmmmkay I think seriously we shouldn't post about clearing up anymore. EVERYTIME!

 

FOR REAL THOUGH! We should never say that we have no actives ever again, hahahaha.

Ah Taylor, that sucks about your car! Hopefully the guy at the shop your dad took it to will be able to fix it and not charge you a lot! Cars are seriously SUCH a pain in the ass. My car is a 99 and since I bought it I feel like I put so much money into it.

Awwww poor Taylor!!! My daughter drove my husband's old truck until recently and it's a 1997 Dodge Ram and we've basically replaced most of the guts over the last few years. It was such a pain in the butt!! One time she called us at 9:00 at night on her way home from an event about 40 minutes away and said "my truck's making a funny noise" so we told her to find a lighted place to park and we had to go get her and the truck - ugh! We got it fixed though and then got it fixed some more after that and it's lasted 15 years so far! Don't worry, you'll get it fixed and be back driving around looking all cute again! 🙂

I'm watching America's Next Top Model online right now and eating some nachos, I've been eating healthy for 2 weeks and today I'm saying screw it! Well not completely, just with my nachos and some chocolate.

My dad was really nice and said he'd help me pay for any repairs.

I paid for my own car with my own money, so my dad is really nice about wanting to help me out. My parents have never had a ton of money, until recently they're doing good.. of course as soon as I'm almost an adult, but I know they feel bad. I wish they didn't, cause they are amazing parents, and it has made me realize the importance of money without going out and spending $500 on a purse or some weird example .

I'm painting my wall soon, taking a cool shower (got sunburned again heh..), lighting candles, and watching Supernatural with my bubbas later.

From that purse example.. I'm not sure if you guys are into designer purses, but for some reason I've always wanted one really nice one that I would use forever.

Aw thank you! I'm really not but the one accent wall is going to be a light olive green! My dad is helping with lining it and then I'm using a roller brush to do the rest

Day 88

I had my blood test this morning. Always fun...but I only have one more left, and then I'm done with stupid blood tests every month! Yay.

So my face right now...

Forehead: The bugger from last week is healing. It's kind of a pain in the ass to cover up, or at least today it was. I only put on concealer and powder before my appointment and I feel like this thing is still not concealed. It has flattened a lot though from last week, it's just in the last stages of being friggin' annoying.

Chin: Pretty damn clear. It's funny how my chin was the original problem area when I started 'tane. Now it looks good.

Cheeks: The original problem cheek, my right cheek, is starting to look a lot better. I still have two that are healing, but I believe they'll be gone soon. Then the left side...the zit that I noticed Thursday night...it has gotten bigger, and I'm not sure how big it's going to get. I'm really hoping it's a whitehead because they go away much faster. Also, this thing was hard to cover up this morning. It looks flaky right now. It's really not a good look.

Jawline: HEALING!!! It has gotten SO much better than it used to be. Everything is healing, and it feels so much smoother.

So, that's about it right now. 62 days left! Let's hope these 62 days work their magic!!!!!

I'm pretty sure it's a white-head! It seems like one of those stubborn little guys that take like 3 days to come to a head. It's really sore right now so I'm thinking that means it's in the process of erupting. Hahaha. That seems to be the right word to explain it.

It really is! My day is relaxing. My sister and mom went to the pool, but I just felt like relaxing instead. So I took a bath and now I am getting ready. My friend is going to stop by and see me and I think we are going to dinner.

Sooo I noticed that my nose is dry (the inside) and it's kind of sore! This is a first. I put some Aquaphor on a q-tip and put some in there. Geeze!!

How is your day going?

Pretty good! I gave my room a good cleaning and now just going to relax before work at 530. I'm not in the mood to work today :/ bleh. Thankfully after today and tomorrow I have off 4 days!

I plan on taking a bath tonight when I get home from work at 1030 <3.

The inside of my nose is insanely dry. It's probably the worst side effect I have in my opinon, it's so dry and crusty and insaneee.

Ending month three today! I don't know if I would call this month the "magic month"...but I did see a great amount of healing. A lot of changes have happened during this month. However, the fact that I am still getting new zits this far into the game makes me nervous. With only two months left, I hope that I can end this long journey with a sense of satisfaction and no more god damn acne.

This cheek pimple on my left side is growing. I also noticed that I have a small whitehead forming on the right side of my forehead. Meh. Little buggers just want to keep appearing. :/

I went out last night with an old friend and we had some drinks. I had a total of seven beers! Dang. I was definitely tipsy, but the good thing is that I wasn't even hungover today! I was kind of surprised, but it was a nice surprise.

So I'm going to post some pictures. Right before Accutane and progress throughout this month. Then a picture from last June when my skin was looking amazing.

I have hope that I will get there again. I just have to remain as patient as possible. Tomorrow I am calling my derm office and heading straight to CVS after work to get my script for month four filled. Let's go, 'tane, you need to kick this acne out of me for good!

Don't worry.. I now have 4 actives on the side of my mouth all clumped together on the left side, and a cute whitehead appearing. That cheek was the good cheek too.. Now my right one is the good one. I guess they're having fun switching off and driving me inside. Forehead is clear still, has been for a couple weeks! Now if only my cheeks and the side of my mouth would calm down..

Patience is key.. and let's just say I don't have ANY.

It's so annoying when you get a blemish in the exact same spot over and over again, because it's like dark spot over top dark spot when they heal. I agree with you that I don't mind little stuff, I can deal with a few tiny whiteheads when compared to the bigger stuff.

Day 90

Cheek whitehead has gotten bigger, and it's definitely coming to a head. I don't even want to look at it.

I also noticed that I have a VERY tiny whitehead on the same cheek (left). The zit on the right side of my forehead that I noticed yesterday is getting slightly bigger...hopefully it doesn't turn into anything real big.

I swear that 'tane makes us break out EVERYWHERE before finally letting us have the clear skin that we're all dreaming of. My right cheek (which was original the bad cheek) is now looking great, and my left cheek is acting up. Like, really, UGH!

Sorry to hear you're going through breakouts as well. Patience certainly IS the key with Accutane. It is so much easier said than done, especially after seeing clearing and thinking that the breakouts are in the past...then it's like "Nope, it's over yet." I was the one who posted that. It's so relevant to how a lot of us feel while on Accutane. We all want this to work so bad that we're waiting for it like little kids waiting for Christmas.

Thanks!! I agree, it is annoying to break out in the same spot. For me, it's like one area of my face that is bad will heal, then another will flare up. I can never have everything look good at the same time. But I guess my face is still purging. I hope that month four will really help. Luckily I haven't had any cysts, so that's a very good thing. My jawline was fully healed, as well. Just have to wait for the rest to do the same.

Clear skin has to come soon for us! It just has to. It sucks to experience new zits after feeling as though everything was clearing, but I guess that we aren't at that point yet. The good thing is that we've both improved a lot since we started, so we'll get to a point where we're cleared up!

Oh my gosh - and we are true 'tane twins. I have a left cheek zit and a forehead zit. The cheek zit is now a sexy whitehead that I'm sure I will give in and pop. I feel the same way...I give in and pop them because I feel like it'll go away faster (even if that's not true).

We need to keep holding on, we're getting there!

We will get there though. I just had one of those scary "WHAT IF THIS DOESN'T WORK" thoughts running through my head. That's a scary thought. I absolutely need these next 60 days to work for me. I think I'll feel a little more at ease once I go a week without getting any new zits, but until then...I can't help but feel worried about the end result for me.

But we are 'tane twins. I hate that we both haven't had our magic moment yet...but it is so great to have people like you on these boards to turn to when we feel as though the drug isn't working. At this point, I have no idea what I'd do without the support from all of you guys.
