Still doing well. Ona active at the moment on my cheek.

Just needed to post a reallllllyyyyy weird side effect. The palms of my hands are turning blotchy yellow/orange. According to my derm, bc my labs r so good, I should only become concerned if the whites of my eyes turn yellow.

I hope everyone is doing well!!

Ok, so 80mg it is! :shifty:

I took 70mg yesterday, and today will be my first official 80mg day.

Super nervous, but I'm def ready to be clear. I've had two actives, and of course popped them. So a cpl new red marks.... blah. One on my forehead and one on my cheek. Besides those still battling with fading my marks from my massive breakout when I bumped to 60mg. Good lord, I hope that doesn't happen with this bump.....

Also just started using invicble scar treatment. I'm hoping that'll help speed up the fading of my marks. All of the 6 ingredients are safe, so I'm just putting a little bit on under my make up.

I've been using Dr. Dan's Cortibalm, and my derm actually told me not to bc the steroid in it will thin alrdy too thin skin .... :doubt:

Seriously tho, I am going to continue with it. :ninja: It's the only thing that keeps my lips from peeling.

Side effects... Nothing new. Dry lips. Dry skin is fine w/ moisturizer. Tired. All the time.

I've actually found that putting regular vaseline on as a moisturizer at night really helps fade the red marks. I was afraid it would break me out at first, but it hasn't and in fact makes my skin so much smoother and healthier looking!

Thanks pink!

I def will give it a try. The invicible cream seems to be really good tho. It's mostly silicone.

Thank you! U look amazing too :)

Yes, I know it's waaayyyyy better than it's been. I have some indents and a few clogged pores, and one active that can't decide if it's going up or down, lmao. Few marks, but they are so faded at this point I am not stressing them.

I guess I just want perfection at this point, u know?

I am VERY grateful for where I'm at.

Haven't checked in here for a while....

So there I was, just scrolling down the page when, all of a sudden... WOOOOH!

Seriously, you're skin's looking great Crystal! :hifive:

I remember how it really got you down when you started out, and the problems with the increased dosage and all, but I bet in the end it was worth it to get to this point, right?

See, told you it would all work out! ;)

So, 1 week @ 80mg, and no crazy ass breakout (thank god), but very dry.

I had a little too much sun on Sunday

Spent about 6-7 hours on the Yellowstone river, and my sunblock didn't cut it, lol. So I figure that and the 80mg combined is making me so dry.

It's manageable, I just need to moisturize more than twice a day... and I'm lazy so I'm complaining

Nothing else really new to report, I hope everyone is doing well :)

I know!

My derm wasn't suprised at all tho, and I only need to worry if my eyes start turning yellow, which they haven't.

The oddest part to me is that my labs have been good, idk, lol.

Hi Crystal! Just curious how long your on accutane for. Was it 5 or 6 months?

6 month course. I'm debating the 6th month tho. I may not need it.

So....

I've picked my face

Extracted 3 clogs, pretty much the last of the clogs.... I have a few tiny ones, but nothing that bothers me. These were slightly raised. Theyre red today, but ok I guess.

Repicked at the active and another spot that was nothing.... Blahhhh... and I'm on 80mg, obviously I've made a mess :(

5 new red marks, and I was doing so good.

The way I'm trying to look at it tho is that the shit is out of there. I don't have anything else in my skin that bothers me.

I hope this was it and I'm done, just nice healing ahead hopefully...

I'm gutted today. Just feel sick.

Hope you feel better soon!
