DAY 61
unfortunately, I am updating my log so soon due to a pretty bad break out. Today is my 3rd day on 80mg and I am beginning to to break out. I got 3 pretty big actives next to my Left eye as well as well as 3 smaller ones on my forehead. I will be okay with this if it is the extent of the dose increase breakout. 80mg is the highest I will be going, so, on a bright note, this could very well be my last breakout.
Just a little discouraged, but I'll get thru this.... 
Awesome progress my friend. I've never been on accutane but I know its very common to break out when dosage is increased. But keep it up, you are so close!!

Still breaking out. Just on my forehead and neck a little. Side effects havent really gotten any worse, so I can't complain too much.
DAY 68
well, I think the breakout from the increase to 80mg is over... *knock on wood*
I seem to be doing okay with 80mg as well. Side effects aren't any worse. I honestly think I'm getting used to them. The spots I had from the breakout still need to heal completely, but I don't think i have any actives at the moment. Here are some new pics.......
I hope this is the home stretch as I am not going to get anymore dose increases.

Happy 4th of July for all of us Americans! 
About 15 days on 80mg....
Accutane sucks.. lol...I've been getting at least one daily nosebleed the past few days... And it feels like theres cuts or something far up my nostrils. Pretty uncomfortable.
When i thought my dose increase breakout was done, my spots by my Left eye came back... all three white heads returned on top of the red mark...it was quite weird because i thought it wasn't active. The breakout on my forehead healed nicely... just a few red marks remain other places..
Overall, I am pretty happy with the results, but to be honest I did expect to be clear by the end of month 3. Looks like i have 12 days for that to happen...:-/ not very likely.

Hey there! I saw the link to your log in your signature. You're a nursing student? That's really cool. I'm going to community college for a year instead of 2 years as originally planned. I'm actually enrolled to become a CNA, but I spoke with a family friend who is a doctor that suggested I immediately enroll into a 4 year RN program via the college that has the nurse practitioner program that I also want to enroll in later on. I'm hoping to move away from CNA as soon as I can and be on my way towards becoming an RN since the last thing I want to be doing is working in a nursing home. I'd much rather be working in a hospital. Well, enough about me! Good luck to you and I'll be checking up on this log every now and then.

Sweet! I can't wait to be done with school next year! My plans are to work for a year or so then get my masters in nursing. NP or CRNA are my areas of interest at the moment! I would suggest def. getting a 4 year nursing degree! Hope all goes well!

Some new Pics!
Had my derm apt. today and found out that a few of my labs were off (bilirubin and BUN). I'm staying at 80mg and will have to pray that these last 2 months don't cause any problems. He wasn't too concerned b/c they were just fairly high, not critical.
My face is doing pretty good. Really impressed with my results only 3 months in. I think I'm done breaking out from being upped from 60-80mg. Almost took a whole month for that! But I'm not getting upped anymore, so perhaps this may be my last breakout! I don't feel that my face is 100% clear by any means and that worries me because I only have 2 more months.....How much have you guys improved in the final 2 months of your course?
Side effects.... I honestly have gotten used to all of them and it's just like another everyday thing. I have a routine that I follow with my moisturizer, aquaphor and cortibalm. I also take Fish oil for joint pain. DO NOT LET THE SIDE EFFECTS SCARE YOU FROM TAKING ACCUTANE.
