Avocado -

Sorry for being AWOL; been busy with work. Just wanted to check in.

Things on my end are pretty bad as well. Starting to get red marks that pop up with no heads; best way to describe them would be misquito bites but not itchy at all. My skin isn't overly dry but it definately looks tanned and very rough.

But we'll push through, am I right?

I recently started picking at my skin again :\ I got really frustrated with how dry my skin was getting and would keep scratching at all the dead skin. Then I converted back to BP only at night which resulted in a few small pimples starting to form. So i understand your frustration! I've been really upset with my skin since January since i never had bad acne then it just hit me all of a sudden (not as bad as some thankfully). Push through this and i am sure you'll be happy! I am starting my 3rd week on Thursday so I'm hoping when i start using the AHA i will see even better results!

Stick with it and dont expect resuslts at least 3-5 months out. I really have no idea why the "what to expect" page on the regimen says most people are fully clear in 6-8 weeks. Anyway, I'm currently on month 2 and seeing results, but im not fully clear by any means and i still have an awful case of the flakes. STICK WITH IT!

Avocado... maybe you are switching things up too much in your regiment? It seems like you've gone off and on two different face washes and introduced AHAs and a retinoid all within a month. Your skin is probably freaking out at all the change. For me personally, my skin never adjusted to retinoids. My breakouts were about the same and it just gave me gator dry skin. I imagine starting the regimen is drying enough, let alone introducing differin. I'd keep it simple and stick precisely to the regimen as Dan outlines.
