for those with significant others do they not ever notice the smell? I can't tell if the smell actually lingers or not, doesn't ever seem too bad but who knows, can you get real close to someone without them noticing if its dry, haven't seen anyone say anyone else smelled it on them yet

stuff definitely works for sure though

I just wanted to say thanks to whoever posted the original thread for the use of urine as an alternative method. Not only has it helped with my acne, but also with many other problems I've faced for a long time. My allergies (hay fever), stomach pains, ruddy skin tone, and energy level have been positively impacted from the use of urine. I also now drink it on a daily basis and stopped taking supplements that I needed before. God, this is such a relief because I spent soo much money on supplements every month just for my constant upset stomach and acne, but no more. This has been a life-saver. Thank you.

Guys...

seriously.

I was as desperate and depressed as anyone,

but this is just overboard.

Stop slathering pee on yourselves,

buy Dan's Cleanser, BP, Mosturizer, AHA, and Jojoba Oil and get started on the Regimen!

It's the BEST way to go!

I'm not judging you at all.

I've been there, let me tell you!

About a month ago I'd probably be putting piss on my face too.

But, honestly, the faster you get on the Regimen, the better.

I'd rather put pee on my face than BP any day of the week. BP does not like my skin and my skin does not like BP. But I'm glad that the regimens working for you. I don't think I have the right type of acne for it as most of mine is inflammatory and non-inflammatory.

Exactly. There is NOTHING wrong with using urine as a topical. It even heals wounds incredibly fast.

UT has totally worked for me! I'm 35 and have been battling cystic acne on and off since adolescence; this is the first thing that has actually cleared my skin without overdrying it. In fact I'd say my skin is glowing now. Been doing it 2X a day for about a month and I don't have any cysts to speak of anymore, and the scars are also fading. Still have a few small whiteheads but nothing too bad - hooray! Thanks to the original posters of this thread for sharing. And no, I don't think the smell lingers once it's dry. Drinking lots of water probably helps lessen the smell (?) Anyway, haven't had any comments from my BF. I also take Neem and Kaishore Guggulu (Ayurvedic herbs for the liver and skin). But was taking them before and only had moderate success. UT is the way to go, and it's free!

i dont mean to piss on this parade but this is what wikipedia has to say about urea

Urea can be irritating to skin and eyes. Too high concentrations in the blood can cause damage to organs of the body. Low concentrations of urea, such as are found in typical human urine, are not dangerous with additional water ingestion within a reasonable time-frame. Many animals (e.g., dogs) have a much more concentrated urine and it contains a higher urea amount than normal human urine; this can prove dangerous as a source of liquids for consumption in a life-threatening situation (such as in a desert).

Are you saying people who use this are desperate and depressed? Maybe some people just want a natural remedy.

I hate the regimen. Benzoyl peroxide destroys my face - not to mention it's a free radical causing agent that promotes skin tumors and premature aging.

I can't say I'd ever use urine, either though, purely because of odor. It'd be a tad difficult cuddling up to my fiance smelling like pee. But if it works, then why not? Surely it isn't has dangerous or harmful as using benzoyl peroxide.

hxxp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Urea#Hazards

"can be" =/= "will absolutely"

lemon juice can be irritating to some people's skin and work wonders for others, for example.

Most of that article also discusses ingestion more so than anything topical.

I never trust wikipedia. People have too much power and it's way to easy to go in and change something. A friend of mine from school had said it was his uncle that discovered Susie the dinosaur on wikipedia for over a month before they caught it and changed it back.

why do people have such a knack for omitting parts of my posts and reading only bits and pieces?

I never said I was putting it on my face. I said I would not do such because of odor. However, I feel it is best to do research before making judgement on such things.

Urine contains vitamins, minerals and anti-bodies that your body did not necessarily need. So, what people are putting on their face is a hodgepodge of those things - some better or worse depending on diet. Most of it is water.

Just wanted to inform you that I will be urine fasting beginning on Monday. My last urine fast (10 days) pretty much cleared up my horrendous body acne (back, chest, neck), and of course I maintained the results with proper diet. This time I aim to do a few more days, hopefully to completely rid myself from whatever acne is left on my face. Wish me well :)

I'll sporadically pop in and let you know how it's going...and of course I'll just ignore the useless comments.

so is it suggesting that we drink a lot of water to dilute the concentration of urea and only do it, maybe once a day??

Actually Milk & other dairy products have been proven to produce excess Cebum. But it is especially that way for women. It contains a hormone called Dihydroxytestosterone (DHT). This hormone is used to nurture cells. But it causes the over production of oil producing cells that leads to the first visible pluq, also known as a black head.

Not to mention the fact that Cow's milk is meant for Baby cows & N0T F0R HUMANS! We dont walk around drinkinq milk from nursinq women so why is it okay to drink that of a cow? & since most cows are preqnant & milking at the same time, we drink not only the extra hormones they produce but also whatever crap they've been injected with.

& as far as Urine cleansinq qoes, its completely natural. Some believe that it's the reason african's skin is so smooth. & if you know its sterile, whats the difference between that & the disqustinq tap water in biq cities.? At least it came from YOUR body. riqht.?

& the point is not to leave it on your face all day. You should only leave it on for 10 minutes. So you dont have to walk around smellinq of urine. & if you cant spare 10 minutes in the bathroom there's somethinq seriously wronq. Take the urine on a piece of paper towel or cotton (dont use your qood towels) mid-stream. That way what ever impurities you people are worried about can pass & then rub it on your face (not that hard). Let it absorb for 10 minutes & rinse it off. & clean your face as normal.

--& yes it works. & it only takes about a week. qot it.? qood.

Why would he be joking? Urine Therapy is the cheapest and possibly easiest solution to so many problems with our bodies today. Allergies can just disappear with little time of drinking urine. Not everyone gets clear through it, but it definitely does the body more good than anything.

I'm still using the urine therapy. Has not cleared me completely but has made a significant impact on my inflammatory acne. Will continue to use this because it for sure helps, but I don't think it will cure me completely. I'm changing my diet and lifestyle as well. Btw, I drink it as well as rub it on my face. I don't think I'll ever get used to the taste but w/e. I'm glad that I'm an open minded person, willing to try crazy things. I'd miss out on a lot of shit if I turned my nose down at anything that was out of the ordinary.

theres famouse ppl with flawless skin who's skin specialists have them put pee on a cotton ball and apply to face.

I dont find it wierd at all. Mabye the first time. Now it's not a big deal at all.

Honestly Id rather just a pee filled cotton ball on my face. Then spend time with BP, or masks, or side effects from pills. Im on accutane, but urine DOES work. I use it while on accutane even.

It doesnt perfect ur skin (why im on accutane) but it helps move it to the lower level AT LEAST. In the summer it clears my skin completely tho. It moved my moderate severe to like mild/moderateish.

N it gives u a great tone.

Its not desperate. Its just knowing what works.

Well let me update my progress. ACNE has 95% vanished from my body. I fasted about a half dozen times since January, and have slowly but surely seen the progress. I had my last fast (7 days) the last week of June, and considering how out of control and problematic acne has been for me for such a long time, this is like a miracle. Maintaining acne free skin after a fast is the next and logical step. Post fast, what really helped me out is eating lots of raw foods and washing acne prone areas with acidic water and some urine. Exercise also helps as the sweat purges out leftover toxins. Well, this is probably the last time I'll post in this forum so I hope my story either helps or motivates someone to do what I did in order to rid oneself of acne as a near-permanent solution with urine therapy. CHEERS :)

PS: Obviously you have to be open-minded to do this...but I'm glad I did since this is the first time in my life where I don't wake up in the mornings dreading what I see in the mirror. Confidence is slowly bringing me back to life!!

calm down man, its just his post said the OP convinced him to try Urine Therapy and in that short amount of time he has started to drink his own urine. Most people take years to become open minded enough to even start applying it to their face, let alone put it in their mouth and drink it.

^^^ haha yeah drinking it is really hard at first. I remember for the first while when I was just putting it on my face and I wanted to start taking it internally I would stand at thew sink with my cup of pee, trying to steel myself to drink it and then I'd just dump it. But I've been drinking it for a while and I'm pretty much fine with it now. I'm wondering, for anyone else who's drinking it do you mix it??? I drink it on its own and sometimes the flavor is worse than others. Sorry in advance if that grossed anyone out, lol.

Hi, i have been trying urine therapy for the past 3 days. I expected it to be a cure that would work instantaneously, but that did not happen. What did happen though, is my skin has become almost normal as far as texture goes. Normally its really dry and rough and flaky, but since yesterday its been almost like normal skin. Also i noticed that the usualy redness that is on my face has decreased dramatically, especially in the morning before i wash it off. Thats pretty much all, ive only been doing it for 3 days and hope to see improvements in acne soon.
