Urine therapy...

K, I think I may have spoken too soon. I woke up this morning and my skin was looking fantastic! The few inflamed pimples I had are dried up and just left raised red marks. I do have one active pimple deep in my hairline and it's a biggie. But the thing is, this should be way to early for my green smoothies and other diet changes to come into effect so it's got to be the urine therapy. It makes sense because it would take quite a while for all the pimples to go through their cycle. I'm thinking the urine theray is helping much more than I originally gave it credit for. I'm going to continue with my diet changes because I still think that is necessary for me to have completely clear skin and I also just want to have a healthy body.

I tried this and wouldn't mind trying it again.

Trust me, it isn't as nasty as it sounds. Even if it's still grossing you out while you're doing it, just don't think about it, lol. It's not bad and very beneficial to the skin.

Seriously, but don't be so quick to judge. You may not like it but it isn't as bad as it seems

You never had a guy want to cum on your chest/face? Man...you must be boring in bed. I feel sorry for boyfriend/future boyfriend. Not willing to explore the kinkier side of sex, tisk tisk.

I also want to congratulate for being a huge jerk! Wait,no I don't.GTFO

Just because you wouldn't ever put urine/semen/bid poo on your face doesn't make it okay for you to come into people's threads and make a total ass of yourself by telling them they're gross.

It's working for THEM! And as someone who finally got clear after years of suffering from horrible acne...I'm HAPPY for them. I also respect their guts for doing something regardless of what judgmental and rude people like yourself have to say.

There's a good reason why body gets rid of urine. Think about that.

Why not start putting feces on your skin too? The pigs have such a nice, pink, resistant skin. I would love that!

Hi there... good luck with the urine therapy!

I just wanted to say one thing that has been annoying me while reading through this thread, urine is a waste product. It just is, I'm sorry. It is a product of your excretory system, meaning it is excreted from your body, this is known as waste.

I'm not doubting your methods and saying there is no way this can work, because apparently it does or saying this is a bad regiment and I'm not trying to flame you. You just can't say urine is not a waste product.

Best of luck.

Sure thing.

My reply wasn't put the nicest way, but I don't think that for example, doctors who treat these people would react in any way better if they knew their patients are using urine as a therapy.

I hope someone will come to his or her senses by reading my reply and think about why body wants to get rid of urine and why is it willingly being brought back to skin as an acne remedy.

You should treat your body with respect and you will be well.

We all,for the billionth time, know that urine is a waste product. However, many people on this board over the years have shown very positive results from what they're doing. Sure, it may not work for some, like every method of acne removal...but it's helped a good number of people.

Due to all of these positive results from urine therapy over the years, it has been established to be a valid method.

Your only problem with it is that it's gross. So really, your post is hugely uneducated and is filled with a bias that makes your post rather laughable,as you're denying all evidence of these people's experiences.

Hey lady, I have an open mind but I would never kiss someone whose face is coated with urine. Common sense, basics of hygiene, kindergarten stuff. How do you get along with the smell anyway?

My post is being uneducated and laughable? Just because I didn't support your pseudoscience. Alright, I'll write something, not for you, but for those that are doubting the urine therapy in long term. Remember, what works today might stop working tomorrow.

For starters, let's call the liquid inside your bladder urine, and the thing that comes out in your bathroom a piss. You know what's the difference - urine is sterile (unless you got a bladder infection) and piss isn't. Never. There are bacteria living inside your urinary tract which are expelled when you produce piss. There could also be fungi there as well. The only way that you can reach the urine in its sterile form is by directly inserting a needle into your bladder and getting it out that way.

Piss contains soluble wastes (e.g. toxic stuff) your body doesn't want anymore. Yes, urea inside it is a moisturizer - but what is a moisturizer? A component that binds water to itself. Not very useful stuff, when it's keeping everything to itself. Does skin benefit from it - yes cosmetically but not in a long term once it induces moisturizer addiction. You don't want that.

Urea is a known skin irritant. Not only that, but it irritates internal organs the same way when digested. It's caustic. It means it is corrosive.

You do remember that babies get diaper rash from prolonged contact with piss?

Piss is very bacteria friendly, in fact if you leave it at room temperature, the bacteria grows well in it.

If someone says the kidneys magically got rid of toxic stuff, they're right, since kidneys really do get rid of toxic stuff. But did they explain where the toxic stuff went? Guess what, it's in the piss. It didn't go anywhere else. If you're putting it on your skin, be very careful about what you consume & drink prior to it. Drinks such as alcohol or drugs.

In my eyes, urine therapy is no different than what alchemists did in Middle age. It's just an experiment made by the desperate. If you're desperate, it means you don't even know what's wrong with you. You should be properly diagnosed first and then decide if you want to experiment or not.

Look, I'm not saying you aren't having success with this but can you explain why?

I think people might have success with this because piss contains natural corticosteroids which are known to reduce inflammation because they suppress your immune system's reaction to primary condition. But that's a whole different topic...

Also, urine therapy has been in use for thousands of years. There's probably a reason for that.

Look, if you don't want to use urine therapy, that's fine. If you're grossed out by it, that's fine. But the people in this thread are interested in it and see it as a fine option, and that's fine too. This isn't a debate thread. If you don't want to try urine therapy, there are thousands of other threads on these boards that you could be posting in, but leave this one alone.

I drink it and put it on my face. I use fresh urine for both, but I have tried the stale stuff topically and it seemed to make my skin worse rather than better. I drink it 'straight from the tap', lol. When taking it internally you are supposed to use it right away.

Just a little update. I stopped doing the urine therapy for the weekend because I was away from home and I refuse to do i while at someone's house. Cheeks got bumpy again and skin became rough and I broke out in a couple of small pimples. Started again with it last night and skinwas immediately smoother. I'm going camping soon and I'm going to have to start again, but I might try to keep drinking it in secret lol. :shhh:

As for those who are against this, whatever don't do it. We've heard the arguments before. We've done our own research and from what I've read most of us are seeing results. With these these kinds of results I wouldn't give it up for the world and I certainly wouldn't give it up because it grosses someone else out.
