Ive only heard of people using borax for dermadex mites. Some think their acne or roscea is caused by mites. It's used as a pesticide as well.
Boric acid ingestion by humans can lead to boric acid poisoning, which is a serious condition. If a person swallows roach killing products that include borax or boric acid, he can suffer acute poisoning. Chronic poisoning results from repeated exposure to this substance. Symptoms of poisoning can include blue-green vomit, diarrhea and a red rash on the skin. Other possible symptoms include blisters, collapse, convulsions, coma fever, sloughing of skin and fever.
I'm 99 percent sure I have those.... I'm so scared. I have no idea where to even start. I cleaned all of my clothes and bedding with this Purex stuff free from dyes and fragrances because I thought it was an allergy but I feel a crawling sensation all over my body and have been itchy for about a month and a half..
Has anyone had demodex mites before? Help.

I think everyone has mites but sometimes they get out of control or some people are allergic to them. Sulfur will kill them. Grisi sulfur soap is good and it really works. You can buy it at target, cvs and Walmart. I use it for body acne and love it. Mites don't like sulfur. On the soap box it says to make a lather and leave it on your skin for 10 mins. De la Cruz 10% sulfur ointment is good too. I buy it at Walgreens but I'm sure you can order it online as well.
You can also use borax. What's cool is that both of theses products are super affordable. Give them a try!

You are seriously my savior! I have been freaking out waiting to see a derm on monday flipping a shit for what seems to be silly reasons. I mean, I have the worst immune system EVER. It was out of control, a little better now but man what the fuck are these things? Pardon my French but I am seriously tweeking out. I'm definitely going to get some sulfur products and I've been using tea tree oil for that reason also. It's really only when I'm super warm in front of a space heater or right before bed nowadays but seriously they haunted my every waking moment not too long ago.
I'm wondering if I have to treat my whole house, pets, and the people I live with to really rid these demons. What do you think? Maybe I just need to build up my immune system.
I was taking antihistamines prescribed by my dermatologist (after a month and a half of this INSANE itching). Benadryl didn't work I don't know why I tried this stuff. But all antihistamines did for me was further lower my immune system. AHHH!!!
I have Borax, hydrogen peroxide, tea tree oil, and this weird cleaning spray that's from some hospital that claims to kill the HIV virus. Should I just go nuts on my house or just relax lol
I'm definitely noticing more vivid dreams since starting this three weeks ago. And this seems to be a pretty common thing when you detox fluoride from the pineal gland. Although i'm sure other tissues in the brain have fluoride built up as well. I think if anyone tries this method, it would be good to use fluoride free water. So distilled, or any other method that you know for a fact removes fluoride.
Also i've been adding coral calcium/magnesium to the liter of water to help in the elimination of the fluoride. (i've read this is good to do when detoxing) I've just been pulling apart the capsules and dumping one in a liter of water with 1/8 teaspoon Borax. I know they sell calcium/magnesium in liquid form as well. And apparently adding an 1/8 teaspoon of a pure sea salt like Celtic or Dead helps as well.
Are you still drinking the Borax? How is it going/did it go? Did it work? I've been reading the Earth Clinic forum exhaustively the last few days and have considered this option but I'm realllllllly wary of the safety of it. I wonder if emptying Boron capsules into water and drinking that through the day would have the same effect?

Yep, still drinking it.
I believe i've been doing it for over a month now. Still adding 1/8 teaspoon to a liter of distilled/carbon filtered water. I also add a capsule of coral calcium/magnesium to the water. It's not a solid capsule, but one that is free form in a gelatin capsule. I just open up the capsule and pour the contents in. I get mine at GNC, but i bet you could find it elsewhere.
Many people on that forum accidentally used boric acid, which isn't the same as borax. There's really nothing to fear in doing this, because it's simply Boron, Sodium, Oxygen, and Hydrogen plus Oxygen. When i described the headaches upon initially trying this, i'm convinced it was due to my suddenly working long hours in the sun for a week straight. This was after working indoors only the whole summer. I got dehydrated, which contributed to the headaches, and i've read on various forums that people can experience headaches just from too much sun exposure
That's not to say you won't experience any headaches while doing this. It seems to be a very common experience while detoxing fluoride. You might wait to try this until you've been eating and drinking super healthy for a period of time. That way your body can eliminate the fluoride while it's a peak performance, or at least a much more optimal performance than if you weren't eating/drinking healthy. Someone made a comment about that on the earth clinic forums and i think it makes a lot of sense
If you do decide to try this:
Make sure you get distilled water (which you can find at wal mart and other grocery stores) Also you can get a Brita water pitcher, which comes with a filter so that the chlorine that ends up getting distilled with the water due to it's low boiling point (along with trace herbicides/pesticeds) can be removed using the carbon filter. This is the best way i've found to get the purest water you possibly can.

Thanks for all this info! Something about it still just scares me, but I'm going to look into it more. I suspect Demodex mites might be my problem at the moment and it seems like this is the best cure for them. I'll probably try Borax washes and a bunch of other mite cures from Earth Clinic before I do this, but I'm definitely keeping it on the back burner. Do you feel like it's clearing your skin? Or did you do it solely for the purpose of eliminating fluoride, regardless of your skin?

Solely for the fluoride detox. Skin is currently clear. Thankfully diet took care of that for me a while ago, along with eliminating chemical topicals of any kind. But since it's helped with people's rosacea, who knows how it might help with acne
