Caroline, I can see you've started doing some serious testing on your method. I hope your skin stays clear and you get back to enjoying all those amazing foods without worry!

Wow, I always thought that water HELPED your food digest. I've drank water during/before/right after meals all my life. Recently my skin has cleared a little bit though, and i've been drinking more water. Hmmm, i'll have to give this a try, i'll continue drinking lots of water, but not after meals. Isn't it hard to balance/spread your water intake through the day this way though?

uncle_buck- its unbeleiveably hard to spread everything out like i do. my whole day is scheduled around when i eat and drink. but my acne was so bad, an it did so much emotional damage, an the damage that the anti biotics did was unbearable as well (i have eczema over 25% of my body because of them).. so even though this is really tough, the results are so astounding that it doesnt bother me too much.. and i think eventually i will just not drink 10 min before, during, or 1 hour after i eat. that should make things a little easier..hope it works for you! smile.gif

Caroline, just curious as to why you ate unhealthy during your liver flush. Thats one of the worst times to eat unhealthy! For two days your only suppose to eat light, easily digestible foods such as teamed veggies and no binding foods. Also, you dont have to use epsom salts. Many of us just take the OO with Grapefruit and in the morning we do a salt water flush or drink 1/2 to 1 whole bottle of manesium citrate. A SWF is when you dissolve two teaspons of unrefined uniodized sea sealt into 4 warm cups of water.

i ate unhealthy (lots of biscuits/pasta) because on the diet i am on now i eat so little fiber, that it has almost completely stopped me going to the bathroom sad.gif.. so i had to get lots of fiber in my system, because i was afraid otherwise i wouldnt be able to pass the stones.. next time though i will do as it says.. an stick to just some toast an a potatoe for lunch.. but i was just so worried i wouldnt be able to pass those stones, an that they would stay in my system.. i think the flush im doing may be a little different from the one everyone else is doing, its got a lot of the same things, but its not the one from curezone.com.. but it worked, i passed about 10 stones that were half the size of a dime, a few smaller ones, an loads of little 'particles'. i have got to add more fiber to my diet..lol smile.gif hope you are having a good morning, lumas wink.gif

Caroline, you can get fiber from fruits and veggies.

thats whats the problems for me. i have eliminated all fruits because im trying to kill bad candida, an on top of that, im horribly insulin resistant. so even healthy foods like fruit make me feel really bad, the same goes for veggies with anymore than like a few carbs.. (the only ones i can really tolerate are leafy, and occasionally asparagus an zuchinni) an ive also eliminated gluten, which knocks out alot of other good sources of fiber. i am really in a pickle

probiotics are pretty good for repopulating the bowel with good bacteria and killing off candida. Kinda freaky swallowing a pill that says "1 billion live friendly bacteria per capscule" I haven't been taking them for a while - but when I did it completely killed off indigestion that I suffer from every now and then.

Probiotics seemed to help with my digestion too, Frances. I'm still taking them.

I keep wanting to try your regimen Caroline, but I keep eating soup... it's just so yummy and it's winter here...

Hope it's still going well for you, sweetie. smile.gif

**UPDATE** today i realized 'that time of the month' was here..lol.. the ONLY breakout i got was one tiny cyst, and about 5-6 tinyyyyyyy pimples.. a HUGE change from 10-12 cysts, and like 15 large scarring white heads... so needless to say im still very impressed with this, this will be one of the only times ive gotten my period without getting more scars smile.gif looking at my face u wouldnt know it was that time of the month, when usually people in texas would know 😮 this has not cleared me 100%, but it has gotten me so close that i think with continued changes with my life style i can soon be 100% clear... hope everyone is doing well- caroline

Caroline, I'm so impressed with your discipline. Good for you! I went carb crazy today-ravioli, breads, sweets, cheerios. I had a stressful day and I'm getting my "friend". I'm going to get rid of all bad stuff I have around the house and starting fresh tommorow. Have you lost weight as well? A while ago I did a similar regimen for two weeks and dropped about 7 pounds and felt like a superstar. I'm starting first thing tomorrow no excuses or cheating and I'll post in one week. By the way, do you eliminate dairy too?

hi beka & ditee smile.gif i hope it works for you too beka, its really helping me!! an ditee, i am a severe carbaholic, but for some reason this time ive been able to kick the habit. its interesting, i havent been trying to lose weight at all, but ive been on this water regimen/ diet for almost 2 weeks, an ive shed 10 pounds without even trying. im feeling so good. i do eliminate dairy, but i eat lots of marinated chicken that i buy from the grocery store, an my favorite flavor is lemon butter smile.gif thats basically the one thing i still continue to do, i always get marinated chicken.. it tastes soo good an is really not jepardizing the diet... but i mean you have to be reasonable about it.. honestly i couldnt do it if it werent for marinated chicken..lol.. good luck! if you have any questions pm me anytime smile.gif

hey everyone.. i noticed some people are going to try the diet i am on, so i thought maybe i should list exactly what i eat.

as soon as i wake up i will eat a fillet of salmon with a salad (usually spinach, with onions cucumbers califlower) with oil an vinegar dressing.

drink loads of water (sometimes 5-6 glasses) 2 hours later.

2 hours after water intake i will have a grilled lemon pepper chicken breast with another salad or steamed collard greens.

2 hours later i drink another huge amount of water

2 hours after this i have another meal (salmon, turkey, or grillen marinated chicken breast) with a salad or a veggie. ( my veggie choices are zuchinni, asparagus, onions, collard greens) i dont eat a wide variety of foods because i have food allergies on top of being horribly insulin resistant, so even veggies with small amounts of carbs make me so tired.

Then of course 2 hours later i drink loads of water again, i always make sure i have had alot of water before i go to bed. I do pee alot though, but im learning to deal with that smile.gif Now I must make a point that im not 100% clear, but the results ive gotten are astonishing. Im starting zinc an evening primrose oil today in hopes to get even clearer.

i think soon im going to split these 3 meals into 6 tiny meals a day, i will have to test my water method by stopping drinking water only 10 min before i eat anything, an waiting only an hour after i eat to drink anything. we'll see how it goes.. good luck everyone!

Thank you sadcaroline for bringing this up!!!

I have now tried this for 1,5 weeks and it is actually working! Or at least I think it's working. Haven't had a single break-out since I started, and I usually get at least a couple of new pimples every week.

I'm not as disciplined as sadcarline - I use the 10min before and 1hr after method. And I don't eat at regular times, but I do have at least 4 meals per day. It's working for me!

I'm so happy!

sadcaroline your diet is SO healthy very similar to how I eat and how I was eating when I felt great and my skin was clog free...i am eating well again and YUP, fewre clogged pores....but I wait maybe an hour max after eating depending on how big my meal is i have a HUGE appetite and not insulin resistent but I don't eat refined carbs or gluten which BOOST my energy level.

BTW collard greens rock>green veggies are so good for the body/skin

hey,

well, i took accutane six years ago, so that may have something to do with it>however I had to go on the med because an underlying condition caused by my diet basicallymade me get cysts and my breakouts took forever to heal (stupid ass docs who deny it and me for eating that way! boo hoo)...But now and for the past several years, my diet's great and i mainly had clogged pores or blackheads...A LOT of these went away after i upped my water drinking to three liters a day>this took a couple weeks>but after just a few days i noted an improvement.

Of course i just ate five gluten free chocolate chip cookies (gotta live a little : ) and it's that, ahem, time of the month!

also, try some witch hazel astringent....it cleans so well, it's cheap and you can get it at any drugstore.
