WAAAAY too many things, but I'll just name the three worst instances.
3. My "friend" called me pimpleface "jokingly". Infront of some guy I barely knew too.
2. I was out with my family and some family friends, and we were eating in a restaurant. One of my mom's friends has really bad eyesight, and she look at my face and asked "what is that red thing". I tried to play dumb / change the subject, and I was like "Huh? I must have gotten some food on my face." And then she STANDS UP, WALKS OVER, STARES at my face, and freaking POINTS at my pimple. Of course, she then proceeds to exclaim "Dear, that's not food, that's a pimple!" REALLY loudly. Pretty much the whole restaurant turned over to look. I just burst into tears and ran to the bathroom.
1. The worst thing EVER was probably the time I went to see a derm with my mom. He kept recommending me to get this $6000 laser treatment for my skin, and my mom said "maybe later". The derm proceeded to chuckle "well, at least you won't have to worry about your daughter getting a boyfriend anytime soon." Damn. I wanted to punch him in the face. Never went to a derm again after that.

that is so fked up
oh damn. i'm not afraid to admit i have acne. i actually don't feel so ashamed like i did before. but i really do wish i did have clear skin. my skin isn't like a complete pizza face..but let's just say i'm the only girl in my highschool that i've seen that has the most acne i think.. but people don't even say anything. yea kids could be the worst on commenting on things cuz well they're blunt and don't really know about other peoples feelings. it's just the way they are. you can't blame them and i wouldn't feel upset if a kid commented on my face. it just shows that they're being honest. i think the younger they are the more honest they'll be. but i haven't even got a comment about my zits from the little kids yet. i usually go to the library to this tutoring center and i'm around ALOT of little kids. that's really sad what cappucino wrote. was that derm purposely trying to be mean? cuz if he was you should've said he shouldn't be a doctor if that's how he treats his patients and he shouldn't have gone into that "specialty" if he didn't really want to treat and cure other peoples acne. and then rant on about how dermatologists aren't even "real" doctor type. psh cuz dermatology sure as hell isn't respected as the other specialties. but to stay on topic i think worst thing reactions i got about my acne was probably the looks the girls have on their face when they pass me. you know the i-think-better-looking-than-you-so-i'm-better-than-you look. they don't comment they just have that look. when it comes to looks it way more important to girls. trust me. that hella annoys me cuz before when i had clear skin i never got those kind of looks.

im a guy and believe me it is no different i've gotten the same looks from girls/guys/older people etc it sucks and it's something that you have to deal with if you walk around feeling miserable etc people are goig to notice it.
just because you feel bad about it doesn't mean it will go away, so instead of kicking yourself and feeling bad act confident and smile instead of people noticing your acne they will notice your confidence trust me and anyone who gives you them kind of looks aint worth your time

Oh man Im making assumptions here but arent chinese people so blunt when it comes to physical flaws and stuff.
Last time I was in Hong Kong we went to a big restaurant to meet up with aunties I hadnt seen for ages and the first thing they do is come up to me and inspect my face and say "wow, why have you got so many pimples on your face" meh, that was when my face wasnt even that bad so yeah.
Also once my cousin was in hong kong (in the same situation) and my aunties were all like wow you've put on so much weight which consequently caused my cousin to become anorexic.
Nice people

Must be an asian thing. They'll comment about all your physical flaws in front of a whole group of ppl.

Haha yup you're right.
EVERYONE who's commented on my skin was Chinese now that I think about it.
I have mild-moderate acne, but asians always blow everything out of proportion.
Especially grades, skin, weight... etc.
But yeah, I can see how your cousin became anorexic under the pressure. A family friend saw me the other day after nearly a year, and told me she barely recognized me because I've put on so much weight (with an appalled expression on her face). Plus everytime my aunties come over to visit, they always comment on how much fatter my thighs have gotten. I'm over 5'4 and I weigh less than 100 pounds even today. Back when I was really, REEEALLY underweight (all my bones stuck out, pretty much), I got compliments all the time telling me how I had such a great [nonexistent] figure. Seriously. WTF is wrong with these people?
lol it's always the older asian ppl. they'll get right up to your face and inspect your ish.
my moms friends always does that. she'll comment on my clothes, body, face, even my foot.
So true.
^yea. no that's just the way with asian people. they COMMENT. not INSULT. trust me i lived in vietnam for a year and a half. i know how they think. that's just normal. in western culture and is a very fine line between commenting and insulting. while in asia it's just considered commenting. they say that they want other people to "comment" on their flaws so they'll know what to fix about their physical appearance. in asia looks are literally everything.

even the older people/elderly care if younger people look good or not? damn that's messed..or maybe that's just a normal universal reaction: people are generally more warmer to the physically attractive more.

Dont know about the last part since Ive never lived there but I agree with the first part, its pretty normal for them to comment, my mum says that over there thats just the way it goes, and that when chinese people move into the western world they have to redefine their own insult/comment lines lol

Thats the case in my experience, I used to work in this place and everyone was all friendly with me and all that and as my skin started deteriorating everyone became a little colder towards me, I also felt like I had lost a lot of respect from my co-workers as silly as that sounds. I was still acting the way I had always acted, just that since I was no longer as good looking as I used to be people started treating me different. It was subtle at first, but after a while it became pretty apparant. Doesnt sound like a realistic scenario to be honest, I mean who would have though looks would have that much effect but they really do, its such a joke.

holy crap.
Derm said that. Shit.
These are really good ones (if you know what i mean)
I've read like all the stuff people have posted on this thread and i truely feel bad for everyone who has had to put up with crap like this i have as well.
Modern day society is so influenced by imagery of movie stars etc etc about what the body is "supposed" to look like and you see 12 year old girls being dressed up by their parents to look like 18 year olds etc people can be so stupid sometimes.
And how everyone who has acne is dirty or doesn't exercise proper hygeine etc when 9/10 acne is either hormonal or genetic, when in reality the person with acne probably is cleaner than them and takes better care of their skin etc.
I agree with imhotbcimfly. The look and stares from people hurt me the most as well . And, as for the meaniest thing someone has said, there are tons. 90% of the time when I get into an argument with a friend, they always gotta take a shot at my pimples by saying things like "minefield, pizza face, etc."
