If i had a pound for evertime some asshole make a comment about my face i would be a millionaire by now.

The usual comments:

"Pizza Face"

"Wash ur Face"

"Spotty"

and other crap which i can not be bored to write

But the next time somenob makes a comment to my face, i will punch there face in, until it looks worse then mine, it may take some time tho.

my worst one was when i was getting my hair cut and my neck was severely bad. I didnt want to be there in the first place getting my hair cut is one thing i hate because my neck is so bad.

the hairdresser just says wow your necks got a lot of spots on it but the look she gave me one of disgust like she didnt really wanna go near me was the worst bit and it was infront of about 3 or 4 people waiting in the que, I just wanted to curl up and die at that point.

Hah, seriously. Was only about a month and a half ago, I think.

Ahh..HIM is the best band ever!

As for the topic, when I was in middle school this kid would always say I had pimples...I just said it was sun poisoning. Now, senior year in high school, his face is terrible, as is his teeth, and he has no friends. Take that, jerk off!

Any time my uncle comes over, he always says I could go to a doctor for my skin. And I do!

People suck. That's why I got a puppy ;D

About a month ago a dumb coworker came up to me and said, "Dude, you're acne's killing you!" It was the first acne comment I had received in a looong time. I know he wasn't trying to be mean - he was just literally an idiot :D

Do people think before they speak these day?

-EVERY TIME I ate a biscuit, or even just took an extra crisp and either my parents or brother would say "You'll get fat and spotty!" or "It won't help darling".

-People saying my face was like the surface of the moon

-When I found out people used to call me "Zit-face" and "Spot-arse" and other names behind my back.

AND, the turning point where I realised I couldn't go on with my acne like it was:

One time on a train with a few female friends these two random guys started chatting to us. I generally kept my head down and covered my face with my hand (as per usual). They seemed nice enough so I relaxed a bit and took my hand away, and they started talking to me. I looked right at them, smiled and replied and the expression on their faces totally changed. Both of them looked shocked, and then started snorting with laughter.

Pretty defensive I asked "What?"

Laughing they replied, "Your face man!"

Generally anytime anyones called me spotty right to my face.

That's always the worst.

My acne was paticuarly bad when I was 11-14, when the majority of boys would do anything for a pretty face. Having acne like I did I really just wasn't worth their time. Like, if you weren't someone 'fit' to be potentially dated then none of them had any regard for your feelings or how you were effected by what they said. Most of them would openly laugh about me when they knew I could hear, and they just didn't CARE. God knows, if i'd been beautiful they would have fallen over themselves to be nice to me. It really got to me how so many of the boys my friends would find 'sooo sweet' were actually anything but. To be honest, having acne opened my eyes to how shallow teenagers can really be.

....rant over

jesus i cant believe how mean people can be

Honestly... Nobodys ever said anything to me about my skin but me... at least not to my face lol.

I mean I make fun of my acne sometimes when I know its bad to like break the ice or whatever... and usually I just get the sympathy comments like "its really not that bad".. "your paranoid" blah blah blah... this said by people with flawless skin that probably never had a pimple in their life... Its like being the fattest person in a room full of anorexics and THEY'RE the ones complaining that they're overweight but will tell the 300lb women she looks fine lol.... It bothers me, I'd rather people just be honest with me and be like yeah, your skins bad, instead of trying not to hurt my feelings or be in denial..

Only my family used to comment on my acne.

I never took it personally. If they honestly have the guts & stupidity to blurt it out- then I don't see them as something to worry over.

"If you washed your face you wouldn't get so many pimples" - TOTALLY PISSED ME OFF BECAUSE I DO WASH MY FACE!! I used to wash it so much my face was so tight and dry but still did nothing.

It was Christmas and I was about 13 or 14yrs old and had a huge zit on my nose. My Uncle tells me I look like Rudolph. - ARGH.

LOL some of the stories here are made me laugh for some reason..prolly coz i couldn't help but imagine if i was in one of those situations..dunno how i would handle it lol..but i can relate to some of the stories though..

I know people who have acne like us feel defensive when someone with flawless skin tell us to wash our face as if it was that easy

My friend's sister saw my acne condition a few weeks back, stared at me and asked..what happened to your face?? Coz the last time she saw me i was on accutane and was clear...and her mom was there too and they were like..eat this drink that stop taking this and that..very annoying lol..i just nodded and smiled coz didn't wana be rude but inside..it's like getting stabbed in the heart over and over again

No-one has ever been mean enough to say anything bad about my acne directly, but sometimes I get weird looks from people I don't know, for example in a class when I'm sitting close to someone new.
