YEah, but I am a vegan, so I need to search how to make a mask without milk, honey, etc
I've personally never tried the tumeric masks but I know of some that would be vegan because they don't use honey or milk.
There's one that uses just coconut oil and tumeric powder (but I don't know if coconut oil might break you out)
and also one that is tumeric powder, water, oatmeal flour and lentil powder
I found them at this site (you'll just have to scroll through the list to find the one's I mentioned to see if you want to try them). http://www.natural-h...acial-mask.html
I've heard some good things about tumeric and might try it sometime myself... though I've also heard it can stain your skin for a little while so I might wait until a time where I don't have to go anywhere haha
What about jojoba oil instead of coconut oil? I wanna use the turmeric by itself, but it makes me skin orange.
I'm not sure. But if you feel like experimenting then you could try it out. Maybe google 'jojoba oil and tumeric mask' to see if you find anything
Like I said, I've never tried these masks or tumeric for acne - just been thinking about it...
I think that it might discolour your skin for a little while no matter what you add to it...

I use the turmeric mask with milk or lime juice, but you can use water. And it really works, yes it does stain skin but if you wash ur face after and also in the morning. Half of us don't like to go out either way. Lol

Lol. I am a senior, so I took almost all classes that I needed to transfer to a university. All I need is A&P 2 to apply. I wanted to take one more course, but I dunno which.
I think I need to pay more if I register for one more ;\ not worth it! hah
Going out with some family and its gonna be HOT today. Most of this time will be spent wondering if my face will look like crap in the sun
Isn't it always hot in California?
No. It depends. California has weird weather patterns, but I love it.
The Netherlands too. In the summer you've got warmth, then rain, then just a lot of clouds, then heat for a week or two, then warmth, then rain...and so forth.
I have a cysts on my chin which I rarely get them.. I did had another one on my cheek, but it wasn't that bad and it is dry now, but still look bad.
I did tried a new fruit.. grr.. I decided to cut down fruits ( I will only eat berries and only 2-3 bananas for smoothies a day) I'm gonna start making leafy green smoothie. I don't like the taste, so I haven't made them. I will keep searching for recipes.

I love the idea of green smoothies! I've been wanting to try them for ages but I need to buy a better blender. I've heard that spinach is a good green veggie to start with because it's got a slight sweetness to it (opposed to other greens like kale which are more bitter). You can also still add fruit to it at first to make it easier to drink but then start to add more greens and reduce the amount of fruit if you want.
If you find any good recipes let me know!

I have a nice recipe for 2 cups of kale.
1 cup coconut water
2 bananas
2 cups kale
1-2 tsbp unsweetened coconut shredded
some stevia to taste
then blend~ I think I am fine with adding bananas. I used to eat bananas itself with walnut, i saw mixing with leafy green helps a lot.
I'm gonna start looking for recipes on this weekends. I will share some if I think they're good. I can't eat fruits at all, so I need to consume more leafy green. I need to buy a dang juicer ! Too expensive~ Anyways, this cysts got a little bigger .. it is ugly. I am going to stop applying lavender oil.. that could be the problem. I'm only gonna use jojoba oil, aztec healing clay, and natural acne dot treatment from Alba which has 2% SA.
^ sounds like a nice recipe to me Yeah I can't decide whether a juicer or blender would be better... I think I'll go with a blender first - I think I read somewhere that a blender helps to retain more nutrients and fiber that way instead of juicing. I'm not sure though. I think either one would be really good.
That's why I really like the idea of green smoothies - It seems like a really good way to get more greens into your diet.
Juicer over a blender any day. When you blend veggies, it turns into baby food consistency.
Haha true... and that does sound gross... but I guess that's the texture of a smoothie. I'll probably end up with both at some stage - when I have money to 'waste' on that sort of thing. Not in a rush to get either just yet.
So I tried a turmeric/lime mask and it irritated my skin! Like wtf? I did it for the past two days and it was fine. Now I'm stuck with a rash on my face. Ugh! Just tired of trying.
Sorry to hear that I've never tried that mask before, so I'm only guessing here, but maybe using it only once or twice a week would be better - instead of consecutive days as lime is acidic and may be too harsh on your skin.
Dealing with acne can get quite tiring can't it... Hope things get better soon - hang in there (and that goes for everyone)

No worries
As always, my skin could be a lot better haha Pretty much broken out all over my face (though I think it looks worse than it really is because of PIH marks) but I'm feeling ok at the moment because it's calming down and I can see an improvement from last week.
