Pros:

My skin does not hurt anymore! I RARELY have a new breakout in the morning when I am consistant!

Cons:

If I dont take it with food, It can make me feel sick/dizzy, and I might get a couple new zits.

I take two 50mg of zinc every day, one early in the day one in the evening! I take them along with flaxseed oil pills! My skin is so much better, I am now treating my scaring with Mederma!

Pros:

Zits shrunk, redness was reduced.

Cons:

I felt a little nauseas, and some stomach pains.

It's def worth a try! It cheap and you only need to take it once a day. I used 50mg. I've used it for two days and i've already noticed a change. It's a great anti-inflammatory and it also has other health benefits.

Cons:

None

I will continue using this. It seems to help.

Pros:

I read the reviews and decided to try it. I have been using it for about a week, along with other prescribed medications. I have noticed a reduction in inflammation, which is a HUGE issue for me.

Cons:

I take with food, so I have had no cons

I use this along with my prescriptions. I have been on my prescriptions for quite a while, and in the last day or two, I have noticed a decrease in redness and inflammation. I do not think this would work by itself, but I do think it helps.

Pros:

Great Product! I take 100mg (50mg twice a day) and it has sped up healing, time i actually have pimples, and amount of cysts. Zinc is also good for your nails, hair, and sexual health. I've seen improvements i didn't even expect.

Cons:

Yes, take it with food. Those of you having stomach and problems with digestion make sure you are taking chelated zinc. It is not a brand just a type thats a little easier on the stomach. You can get it at any drug store.

Zinc will not do the job by itself by any means but it is worth your daily oral intake. Your body in general will just function better. Most preventative flu treatments contain high levels of zinc. I take it in college to avoid the ramped sickness that goes through the dorms. Don't take more then 100mgs. For $4 is worth a try.

Pros:

Speeds healing process, reduces redness, very affordable.

Cons:

None for me.

I started out taking 100mg a night before bed and noticed improvements within 2 or 3 days. I reduced the dosage to 50 after a couple weeks and still enjoy the same beneficial effects. It really speeds up the healing process, new pimples last no longer than a couple days, and those temporary red scars clear up quicker. Makes my nails and hair grow unusually fast. I take Zinc Picolinate without copper by the way. I've never had any stomach problems, and I usually eat them on an empty stomach. But until you know how they effect you, best to be safe and eat something with them. I gotta say, Zinc in addition to Fish Oil pills have done more good for my complexion than any more expensive antibiotics or soaps ever did. I suggest giving them a try.

Pros:

-My face is not red from acne anymore
-No Cyst

Cons:

-Does not clear all acne
-Take time

I have been using Zinc 30mg for a while now. However I do not have any headache since I am taking it with food sometimes with breakfast and sometimes with dinner. It is good, I will keep using it until I find more cons and I will keep posting. At least try it out, they sell it pretty cheap too.

Pros:

Great at minimizing blemishes in size and number, natural alternative to harsh chemical treatments, consistently effective, has added health benefits

Cons:

Not enough on its own (at least wasn't for me), can be messy

Use this as part of a daily regimen to treat current blemishes and prevent new ones; not as effective orally as it is topically, but doing both is best; I take one 30 mg zinc capsule orally and apply one or two, topically, every day. I apply the zinc topically by breaking open a capsule and rubbing the powder over my t-zone and cheeks after washing my face. Next, I seal the powder in with 10% benzoyl peroxide cream and finish with an spf 15-30 moisturizer. I also take 1000 mg of Vitamin C (two chewable tablets), one 200 I.U. Vitamin E pill and birth control, daily. I took Solodyn (an antibiotic) for 3 months before switching to my new regimen. The Solodyn cleared my face and my new vitamins and the birth control have worked to improve my skin, further. Spots have faded and I have recently been complimented on my glowing complexion.
