This seems to help. At first. But it ruins your skins barrier function & ends up causing more breakouts.
I tried to stop this a few times & kept going back. Thinking it kept me from breaking out. After a month of sticking with no toner, my skin looked soo much healthier. It took about 5 years for me to notice the damage it was doing. Look on beautypedia about the damage witch hazel or alcohol does to your skin!
If you want something similar, that’s not as damaging. Try using apple cider vinegar.
Right now I just use my cleaner & moisturizer, with persagel & vitamin c on spots. Works great & have almost no breakouts. It was witch hazel that started the horrible cycle of breakouts in my 30’s that I couldn’t get rid of!
