Pros:

reduces inflammation of spots and after 2 weeks of consistant use, i had no more spots.

Cons:

Initially makes spots red but this fades after 30 minutes or so.

It works. It also works well with other treatments such as Tea Tree oil.

Pros:

It's low cost, easy and shrinks/cleans pores

Cons:

does not prevent acne

I use vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid) to treat my acne...life saver... been using it for years and it's the only thing that ever worked

Pros:

It does help calm down acne for "ME".

Cons:

Depends on where you get it, the costs can be a bit pricey.

I have tried everything except throw horse manure on my face, because I have hormone break outs which are the worst, it can get real frustrating really quick. You go to the store and look at all the "pricey" acne quick fixes, and it is a real shame what manufactures pass off as so called "cures" for acne. The nice pretty packages, big words, and slick prices are really a hoax. Get the Dickinsons facial toner, not the regular witch hazel, you have to be specific in which kind of toner you pick up. It costs a little more in some stores, but it can also be hard to find. I just happen to get the last bottle off the shelf of this one drug store, and debated about buying it because of the price. I'm glad I brought it. Try it, you may not like the smell, but its better than $$$$ wasted on pretty botteled toners that don't work.

Cleansing, not really acne-preventing.

Pros:

Fresh feeling
Clean feeling

Cons:

Smell takes awhile to get used to

I bought Witch Hazel at my local organic store, exactly this brand. It is more of a cleanser than anything else, it leaves your face feeling/looking very fresh and rejuvenated, but does not seem to do much for acne, other than cleansing your skin. Most likely shouldn't be targeted towards people suffering with moderate/severe acne like me.

Pros:

Makes skin smooth and helps prevent heavy breakouts. It's also cheap and doesn't damage the skin.

Cons:

Doesn't 'clear' acne very well and it smells wierd.

I used it for 3 weeks. It only slightly lowered the amount of acne, and isn't very effective. It does on the other hand help stop a few breakouts and it makes your skin soft and smooth for the most part. I would recommend it, just not by itself because it doesn't get the job done.

Pros:

Leaves skin soft and clean feeling.
It's as easy as quickly putting some on a cotton swab and gently rubbing in on your face!

Cons:

Can leave face a little oily.

Quick and works.

Pros:

It helps clear away pimples, and it moisturizes the skin.

Cons:

Once in a blue moon I'll get a cystic pimple, that I never got before. But, one is better than a multiple.

Is very cheap and good for the skin overall. I have tried Pro Activ and it is really expensive and did not get rid of my acne, and it did make my face dry out.

Pros:

nice n gentle. natural. Ph balancing. not irritating.

Cons:

its not really that dramatic.

dont get the kind with alhohol. Its nice, but its not as dramatic as everyone else on the post is saying. ive used it of and on over the years, and been using it as a toner between gentle cleanser and moisturizer, and its not adding or detracting. it will keep your face pure n simple, but its not going to "cure" acne. its supposed to reduce redness...but i dont see any change really.

Pros:

It is a great face cleaner, unclogs pores and takes off even stubborn eye makeup.

Cons:

The smell really IS that bad, it almost makes me gag. Also, it did nothing for the pimple I had. A tad drying.

It was super cheap, so I'll use it once in a while for a good clean. Still prefer oil cleansing.
