Wonderful toner!

Pros:

Cleanses
Leaves skin smooth
Light scent

Cons:

Drying (easily solved with any moisturizer)

This toner makes my skin glow and feel fresh! I use it twice a day after cleansing with Cetaphil Antibacterial Gentle Cleansing Bar followed by moisturizing at nights with Now jojoba oil. For the day it leaves my skin prepped, smooth, and ready for makeup if I choose to wear it. At nights I moisturize because repetitive use of this product can be drying but it has not caused me any excessive peeling or dryness. I apply it with a cotton pad or ball and it always removes any remaining dirt or makeup left on my face left after washing. I love this product and am thankful I came across it, it has helped boost my regimens ability to improve my teenage acne.

Cheap and effective! Perfect

Pros:

Very inexpensive cost me like .65 cents
Effective on killing active acne
Easy to use.

I use this daily am and pm. I don't dilute it or anything in just dab some on a cotton balls and use it as an astringent it dries up active acne which I love! Makes my skin feel nice and doesn't dry me out!

Pros:

- Feels cool and refreshing
- Tones down redness and irritation
- Evens out skin tone and shine
- Makes face feel ultra soft and smooth

Cons:

- Can't think of any!

I've been using this for almost a week and I can already say I love it. It does not really help with removing or reducing acne, but it's an amazing skin toner/softener/calmer. My skin feels like a baby's, and looks calmer than is almost possible when you have acne. Now when I apply make-up my face looks and feels absolutely lovely. This is a great and natural way to improve skin tone and balance. I would highly recommend it to anyone, with or without acne. I know several reviews state they had problems with the smell, but I personally haven't had any. It's wonderful!

Pros:

inexpensive
big bottle (lasts a very long time)
available at almost any supermarket in the first aid aisle

Cons:

Doesn't clear acne 100%

This is a great pick me up astringent for after the gym or for taking off makeup. While it has not completely cleared my acne, it has helped very much with inflammation and redness. I still get whiteheads and blackheads but it has decreased how often i get them. It feels very fresh when putting it on my face AM and PM.

Pros:

-Inexpensive
-No oily/greasy residue
-Does not create a shine
-Clears up existing acne
-Calms red irritated skin
-Helps fade post acne marks
-I love the smell (even tho most people can't stand it)

Cons:

-Does not completely clear my acne, but pretty close
-Has alcohol in it.

This product has saved my face! I will forever be a loyal customer to T.N. Dickinson's witch hazel. I use this product after washing my face in the A.M. and right before bed P.M. to make sure I get all traces of makeup/dirt off skin. Witch hazel makes my skin feel soft and healthy. I prefer this brand over the regular drug store witch hazel.. Although it does not completely clear all acne, it has cleared my face up 80% and I would definitely recommend this product to anyone struggling with stubborn acne (hormonal) especially around the chin/jawline. I couldn't live without it!

Pros:

Bottle lasts long
Cheap
Makes skin soft
Helps with acne a little
Natural

Cons:

None really

I liked this product. I bought dickinsons all natural witch hazel and thought it did wonders for my oily skin. I used it with the body shops tea tree cleanser and aveeno positively radiant daily moisturizer. Wasn't a miracle product though.

Pros:

- Inexpensive
- Cleanses (residue, dirt, oil, makeup, etc.)
- Gentle
- Soothes skin
- Evens out skin tone
- Healing properties
- Works for skin discoloration and acne scars (overtime)
- Multi-purpose (can be used not only as a toner but also after shaving, minor cuts, bruises, etc.)

Cons:

- Smell is NOT pleasant (smells like liquor)

When I first smelled witch hazel for the first time in my life, I was afraid to use it because of the smell. After lots of research in the internet, I was starting to see how wonderfully it worked for others and I could not help but try it myself. Many people on Youtube even said it changed their lives, it was like magic. And I am so glad I finally bought this to use as a toner!! I don't generally have an acne problem, HOWEVER, I used to breakout occasionally with big pimples on my forehead during my period. Using this, I have not had one pimple on my face in months. I am so pleased! By the way, I use Dickinson's Original Witch Hazel Pore Perfecting Toner from Wal-Mart. The ONLY reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because the smell is really horrible but I'm slowly getting used to it. Because it smells like rum or tequila, I felt like gagging when I first started using it but it's a funny smell you really need to just ignore or suck up because this stuff is amazing despite that!

Pros:

-Very refreshing!

-Doesn't irritate skin in any way like most toners/astringents

-Effectively cleans pores

-Picks up what your cleanser may have left behind

-Great when used as an aftershave!

Cons:

Some brands contain rubbing (non-natural) alcohol. Most all brands use alcohol to preserve the Witch Hazel, but only some brands use natural alcohol that doesn't burn, sting, and dry out your skin. Whatever the case may be, it still doesn't contain near the amount of alcohol that most toners/astringents do, therefore it's perfect for everyone's skin!

I'm an R.N. (future Nurse Practitioner) and I recommend this to any and all people as a toner, astringent, and/or aftershave! I use it myself--it's MUCH cheaper than any of those expensive products on the store shelves that are loaded with alcohol as the main ingredient. So, what are you waiting for? Go buy some now!

Pros:

*cleans skin
*reduces redness
*dries oils
*removes dead skin
*easy to apply

Cons:

*smell bothers some people(-not me)
*less is more-by applying too much, it can dry out your skin more

I would suggest witch hazel for light acne.
