Pros:

-cheap
-idiot proof
-great moisturizer
-no chemicals

Cons:

honestly none for me

i've been using vitamin e oil for months now. i bought a bottle of it at 'dollar tree' for about 3 bucks and it's not even half empty yet. i use it pretty much every night before bed, whether i have a pimple or not. it works great when i do, because the spot treatments always dry the hell out of my skin. so i dab this on first, let it soak in, then put spot treatment on. i use it all over my face as a moisturizer, including my lips. i have pretty dry skin, especially in the winter, but this has solved that problem for me. i'm not sure if it actually helps my pimples, but it helps my skin overall, which is just as important to me!

Pros:

- Does lighten hyperpigmentation/acne scars
- Evens skin tone
- Very moisturizing

Cons:

- Greasy (does not absorb well into skin, difficult to massage into skin)
- Very slow
- Very viscous (difficult to apply)

Applied topically (purchased the 100% pure vit e oil from CVS) but worked too slowly for my tastes. It was also incredibly nonabsorbent and always left the hair near my face oily so I could only apply it at nights (so I shower in the morning) or after school when I wouldn't be seeing anyone for the rest of the day. There are better options out there (recently purchased jojoba oil as a replacement -- very absorbent! too soon to make comments on it's effectiveness for fading scars but it is definitely very moisturizing and much easier to apply than vit e)

Pros:

Faded red bumps/scars right away. I used it during the day when i got home from school, first i washed my face, and made sure i wasnt going out that night because its very oily/shiny, so i applied it to the spots, and totally worked.

Cons:

takes a long time to dry, oily.

It WILL fade your acne scars.

Pros:

I have only been using it off and on for about a month. BUT i notice some old ones fading drastically, and i thought they would NEVER go away. With persistence, i am guessing that it would fade them SOOO much better.

Cons:

Oily, haven't broken out from it yet, but i am wary/apprehensive.

AWESOME! Will continue to use

Pros:

fades marks, soft skin, evens complexion.

Cons:

very greasy... use before bed or mix with a bit of moisterizer

Really great stuff. I just buy a bottle of vitamin E capsules at Wal-Mart and break one open every night. Much cheaper than buying a bottle of the liquid stuff at Shopper's.

Pros:

GREAT STUFF... im like 95% sure Jojoba Oil makes me break out and it sucks as a moisturizer anyway (for me)... i mix this vitamin e oil (3-4 drops) in with the Olay Sensitive Skin and its GREAT STUFF!!

Cons:

a little pricy for the size of the bottle, but it lasts awhile.

very good, give it a try. and to anyone who thinks it smells bad, it has a light smell of lemon cause it has natural lemon oil in it. nothing artificial at all. get it and use it in the moisturizer instead of Jojoba oil

Pros:

everything

Just a hint for everyone who says the vitamin E oil is sticky or absorbs slowly. Take a face towel and run it under warm water (not hot). Wring the face towel out and put it over your face for a few seconds. This will help the vitamin E oil absorbe into your skin faster. I've used vitamin E for moisturizing and general face care. Take it from someone who's been doing this since the late 70's!! I've solved the "sticky face" problem. =)
