Pros:

-Makes your face less oily. This is the biggest plus.
-Less breakouts too,i feel.
-Cleaner feel on the face.

Cons:

-People have been mentioning of hair thinning and hair loss.I am not so sure..i feel that my hair is thinning a bit...but its also possible that i am merely imagining.
-Initial side effects

Its a plus.Wouldn't recommend overdosing.I started with 5grams and have weaned off to 3 to 3.5 grams/day.I feel it works just as good. My face was like an oil field earlier.Used to regularly use a soft tissue to wipe the oil off--needless to say,the tissue would be splotched with oil. Now,i dont even wipe my face...maybe once in a day. It may make your face a bit flaky...but it will reduce gradually.Have been on this for about 18 days now. I also take one B-Complex every couple of days.

Pros:

cleared skin and scars, no oil, brightens complexion

Cons:

none

I have Vit b5 pantothenic acid time release, just one a day of 500mg. I had moderate skin problems for four years and just one of these tablets a day after two weeks has completely changed my skin. Even healing old scars I had on other parts of the body and noticed any bruising disappears in couple of days at most. No need to take hundreds of tablets a day because the vitamin is slowly released over an 8 hour period. Fantastic! From Uk, cost £7.00 for 100 tablets.

Pros:

clears skin fast

Cons:

loose stool

It works. Im tired of hearing people hate on it for the 20 pill thing. Acne is much worse than taking 20 pills a day. Also take i twith lots of vitaim C. 8000mg per day (C helps heal) both are water solluible so they are safe to take in mega doses. Try it. Worth the results.

Pros:

EVERYTHING!

Cons:

gas and diahrrea when you first start taking it

Bottom Line: This stuff changed my life! If I could be a spokesperson for Vitamin B5,(Pantothenic Acid) I would do it for free! If you faithfully stick to the program (which I know can be hard), I promise you it will work! I struggled with acne for 7 years and have tried everything! This, along with topical use of Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar before bedtime, has dramatically turned my skin around. It has taken 4-5 months, but be patient. You will so happy with the results!

Pros:

really helps with the oily skin

Cons:

none

I have been taking B5 for 2 weeks now, and I have seen a difference in my skin already. I only have mild acne, so I take 3 grams a day (6/500 mg pills). At first I started with only 2 grams for the first week, but then I noticed the oily skin was still the same, so Idecided to increase to 3 grams. It really works.

Pros:

Quick, easy and it works!

Cons:

None

Into my 6th week of taking SkinB5 tablets and the results have been much better than expected. I was taking a different B5 brand for about 2 years, but I got sick of taking 20 pills a day, so I decided to try, SkinB5's Time Release Tablets. The results have blown me away. A must try for every person with stubborn acne!

Pros:

Regulates oily skin overnight.

Cons:

You have to take a lot of pills

I took 4 B5 capsules and 1 vitamin A and I could see a noticeable difference in the oiliness of my skin the very next day. I have VERY oily skin. So bad that I my face would look wet all day long. So it was very easy to notice the difference. I actually have a habit of wiping my face to remove the oil, and I went to do that yesterday and noticed that there was no oil there. My husband even noticed the difference. My goal is to control the oiliness, not to cure acne. I am currently using Retin-A at night and Duac benzoyyl peroxide cream in the morning and it controls my acne pretty well. But they did nothing for the oiliness. Bottom line, B5 works!!!

Pros:

Works GREAT for sufferers of oily skin. works like Accutane only without side effects.

Cons:

Taking alot of pills everyday.

I love my skin now! I feel normal and enjoy puting a little make-up on and am no longer embarassed to be out in public. My pores are noticablly smaller and I am no longer dripping oil! My skin looks good all day without having to wash it over and over to feel clean. I had used EVERYTHING else. If I lower my dosage too much, I will start breaking out, but definitely not worse than before. I am in my 40s. It did not work for my teen age son, he still broke out, but he doesn't have oily skin. Sarsparilla helps him(helps control those teen boy hormones)

Pros:

Greatly improved my acne, although it has failed to clear it up completely.

Cons:

Horrible taste

I'm very glad I tried it. At the time I tried it, I was in utter despair as to what to do about my adult acne.(Never experienced acne until I was about to turn 40) When I first tried it, I was averaging about 20 simultaneous Zits. After being on b5 for about a month, it cleared up to 2 or 3 at a time. Now it has gone back up to between 4 and 8 at a time. Although, I'm not quite sure why it has gone back up, at least it is not as bad as it was.....so far. I'm going to continue to use the product for now along with looking into some other things. Since I've started to experience acne, even with the B5, I have yet to experience a day when my face was 100% clear. So, my search continues. I have increased my dosage to three teaspoons a day and I will update as to whether or not this makes a difference.

Pros:

Worked great. Less oil, much clearer skin, experienced no side effects at all.

Cons:

Doesn't work overnight. Can be annoying taking so many pills at first.

It's definitely not a scam. Heck, it's just a vitamin. It's not like you have to buy it from some "B5 for acne" company. That so many people have seen great results from just taking B5 should tell you something. I took a chance on it and am glad I did.
