Pros:

Pretty inexpensive

Cons:

Tastes awful, makes me feel sick and tired all day and I have constant diarreah.

I have only been taking this for two weeks now and I feel terrible. It has done nothing for my skin as of yet but I don't know if I can handle this feeling anymore. I keep thinking that my body will adjust like they say it will after approx. 7 day but I am not. Did anyone else feel like this at first. I want to keep going with it becasue it seems like it works for everybody else.

i had tried everything from clean and clear to differin, and nothing worked, and the differin made my face extremely oily. i read about vitamin b5 somewhere and even though i was a little skeptical, i ordered the vitacure brand. they are like little miracle pills. i am no longer oily at all, less oily than i was before i even started on differin. and i'm not dry either...my skin finally found a happy medium. i'd say my face is about 95% clear, and the little bit that i do still have after only two months of using vitacure is just some little bumps on my forehead, not one big pimple. if nothing else is working for you, then this stuff is definitely worth a shot!

Pros:

Almost immediate result. The right dosage seems to stabilise my skin.

Cons:

Beneficial but not a miracle cure for me, and too high a dose made me look ill and affected my hair.

The problem with acne is that left on its own the day-to-day severity can vary so much, for no apparent reason. It is therefore very difficult to test out the effects of a new product. However B5 did have an immediate and dramatic effect on me. At 2g per day it dried out my skin and seemed to stabilise it. I did however look a little ill (although I didnt feel any different). My hair suffered badly too (like I'd used the wrong shampoo). At 3g per day I looked like I had died a couple of days previously. 10g per day sounds like nonsense to me. I have settled for 1g per day for now ' which seems a good compromise.

Pros:

Made my pores a lot smaller very rapidly.

Cons:

None so far.

I have been taking SkinB5 for just under 2 weeks. There has been no noticeable difference so far, but I understand that optimal results often require up to 2 months, so I will keep going with it. However, SkinB5 claims that a tub will last 20 days. I have already gone through 1 and a half tubs in 12 days? I have followed the instructions carefully, 3 x 5g scoops of powder daily. In theory, that ought to make sense, 15g a day x 20 = 300g which is quoted on the tub. All I can think is that the scoop they include 'for your convenience' actually takes more than the 5g, so you use more of the powder a lot faster, and hence go out and buy more of the stuff. I wouldn't mind paying £100 a week if I knew for sure it would keep me acne free, but I'm annoyed about SkinB5 at the moment. I will do some measuring!

Pros:

Clears up the skin immediately. At least for me it did. I do not have severe acne, just mild I guess. But it still bothers me.

Cons:

You have to take tons of pills. The acne probably comes back when you stop.

I took 1 g per day in total and thought, yeah, give it a try, it will be another disappointment. Well everything apart from Benzoyl peroxide did not work on my face. But even after the frist days of using I saw a change in my facial tone and my acne has gone better. I have used Pan Oxly 5 for over ten years and I stopped when I started to use B5, just to see how good or bad it would work. I think 10 g is a bit too much, try just 1 g it worked for me fine.

Pros:

Cons:

A bit expensive and kind of a hassle to keep swallowing a bunch of pills

Amazing. Has worked wonders on my skin, but everyone is different so don't have your hopes sky high when purchasing this product

Pros:

Cleared Me.

Cons:

None, although shipping from Australia is a little expensive.

I've been using SkinB5 for 2 months and my skin has never been better, no zits for a month now. It's a powder that you mix with water 3x a day, so you don't have to take stupid amounts of tablets every day. Tastes good too. The only thing that has ever worked, i had tried Vilante in the past and that did nothing other than make me feel sick. Thanks SkinB5.

Pros:

Easy to get, no prescription required, RELATIVELY low-cost

Cons:

Didn't work! Made skin around lips and eyes dry, itchy and peel but rest of face was still an oil spill.

I wanted so much for this to work for me, after doing a lot of research and determining it seemed to work so well for everyone else. I was taking the time-release 500mg pills from [link removed] and followed their recommended dosage for the first two weeks. When I still saw absolutely no results (in fact my skin seemed to get worse and I got acne in strange places I'd never had it before, like my neck and shoulders) I upped the dosage on my own to 10g/day which is WAY too many pills and also, at this rate, the product becomes almost as expensive as Accutane. Another 2 weeks and STILL no results. The only effect I've noticed is that my lips and the skin around my lips are very dry, chapped, itchy and irritated. My hair is also very dry and brittle and thinning. But my face is just as oily as ever and I continue to break out regularly. I wish this had worked for me.

To all concerned, I have just purchased this product after reading many reviews and contemplating for months. I have had breakouts for about 4 years now since I was 16 (I'm now 20) and have tried most treatments out there. All type of creams (benzac, all danne products, proactiv related, etc etc etc). Most types of antibiotic (tetracycline, minomycine, Erythromycin, Doxycycline) After losing all hope I went to a last resort (so I call it) chinese doctor.. Natural herb's spent over $1200 and did absolutely nothing to me besides make me nearly chuck while tasting the rubbish. At this point I was extremely pissed off. Took suggestion from parents + friends went beauty therapist for 6 months did chemical peels, enzimes, etc. This cleared up my acne SOMEWHAT after 2 months of weekly peels. I have alot of redness on my face with scarring and I've never picked or squeezed. 4 months later my acne is all back im all out of hope and Vilantae (B5) is my very last resort. Wish
