Pros:

Works for some people, I guess

Cons:

Redness, dryness, itching, severe skin damage in some places

TEST this product on a small area before you use it. My skin reacted very badly to ACV -- I developed a rash that turned into a crust of dead skin... definitely not a 'fix' for my acne. Taken internally, tastes horrible and causes acid reflux. Exercise caution! Consult a naturopath before you use this product.

Pros:

Leaves face feeling noticeably smoother, leaves skin more radiant, clears up acne scars, makes pimples less noticeable. gets rid of blackheads.

Cons:

might sting at the beginning when you put it on, after a while you get used to it.

White vinegar makes my skin very smooth, but not greasy or oily, gets rid of the oil and grease on face, gets rid of my blackheads. makes your skin look healthier and more radiant. Ever since I've started using white vinegar i have been having less breakouts, don't get me wrong, you will still get acne breakouts from time to time, but i find vinegar helps with it a lot, also helps with the healing process i find. overall you will notice a big difference in your skin when you put this stuff on everyday for 20 minutes. Best thing I have used for my face for acne related problems. It's a must use

Pros:

research tells that it works(its acid, it kills the yeast or bacteria) so you may feel a backup and it has somehow stoped flaking in the 3 days Ive used it.

Cons:

the smell and the initial redness

seems to work, Ill give it a couple more of weeks, the feedback is too good to believe it. Im very skeptic but this seems to work so Ill just hope for the best. I wont recomend yet till I see the ending results in 2 weeks.

Pros:

Controls oily skin, very cheap! Will stop new formations... at least at first. Then (skip to cons)

Cons:

Then it stopped working. Broke out the worst in over 3 years! USed morning and night! The smell is NOT bad after 2 weeks

It helped for a month, then my skin fought it an won... sigh. I am one of those people that will never get rid of my acne. This sucks... I keep using it though, still controls the oily skin.

Pros:

Acne is clearing fast!!
Cheap - $2.60 for a 750mL bottle and you only need a tiny amount
More even skin complexion without drying the skin

Cons:

Only use at night or if you are staying at home because it makes my skin very red and warm. Kind of looks like a rash but it goes away after an hour. It smells a bit but it goes away quick and you must have a strong stomach to drink it.

I have only used this product for 3 days and I am seeing a difference. I have moderate acne and it seems to be disappearing before my eyes. Nothing new has appeared and what was there is going away. I have had acne for 8 years and I have tried everything from proactive to every face wash, creams and nothing worked. I am drinking a teaspoon in water three times a day and as a toner at night. I recommend that you try this! if you can't drink it just use it as a toner.

Pros:

Results were fast.I can see redmarlks and dark acne spots getti ligher.

Cons:

smell.but no big deal if it does the job.

braggs organic apple cider vinegar has put a smile on my face now when i look in the mirror. i can take confident cute pictures again!! I can see evryday how it lightens my red and dark acne spots left behind. i rarely break out and if I do, it clears up fast!**i soak the cotton ball in the opening of the bottle by tilting the liquid right on it and wet it lightly with sink water.I just tap the cotton ball on my face and easy as that im on my way to better looking skin. i do tis night and morning and use correcting face lotion to cover the smell. this acne correcting lotion has salycic acid and is bought from [link removed] this too is such a great product.

Pros:

terrific toner; lightens marks; antiseptic

Cons:

smell (who cares)

Normally I don't write anything on these forums unless I have tried something for at least a few weeks or even months. This time, however, I can jump the gun and recommend this. I have been using this stuff (50-50 water dillution) for a week and it has really made my skin look better. Does it clear acne all by itself? I really doubt it. still, this complements other things I think and if it doesn't irritate you (if it does, dilute more), why not? It is very cheap and easy to use.

Pros:

Cleared redness and reduced swelling almost immediately

Cons:

Not the best odor, stings a bit

I usually get at least one or two stubborn cysts on my chin from hormones. I've recently started running again, and I think the combination of sweat loving bacteria and toxins being pushed to the surface of my skin has caused a mild breakout with some whiteheads popping up here and there. I also have one fairly bad cyst on my chin and red marks from previous ones, including a large dark red mark from a particularly stubborn one. I started using ACV topically three days ago, and I am amazed by the result. It has really lightened my red marks, even the big one, and has reduced the redness and swelling of the cyst. Also, no new pimples have cropped up. Even my impossible-to-budge blackheads on my nose look smaller. I apply 5% directly to existing pimples, which can sting, and then I dilute it and wipe it over my whole face. Works better than anything I have ever tried.

Pros:

Dries up pimples really fast, skin feels softer and smoother, looks better, too.

Cons:

None really, doesn't prevent new ones, but that's a given because it's not a medication.

I've pretty much given up on ever having nice skin, or even managable skin for that matter. I've tried Clean & Clear, Neutrogena, Aveeno, Proactiv, Biore, Lush, Differin, Retin-A, Doxycycline, so on and so forth, nothing has cleared it up, but so far just swiping my face with a cotton ball soaked in the vinegar has been pretty promising, I've been doing this for about a week, and while my main problem isn't new zits forming, it's mostly old zits never going away. So maybe three zits will pop up at a time within the span of a week, that's not a problem, but they never go away, so next thing I know I have fifty zits because old ones won't heal, but this is just drying them up into flakes of skin that either get scrubbed away or just peel right off, which is actually taming my acne a bit... plus it's cheap.
