Pros:

Seems to calm acne down
Easy to apply
Cheap!
Natural

Cons:

Strong smell (My eyes water a lot when applied to my face!)
May not work long term
Not entirely effective (Aggressive enough for bad acne breakouts)

I've tried applying apple cider vinegar to my back, chest, shoulders, and face. So far, it seems to work okay. It slows breakouts down but doesn't eliminate them. It seemed to make my face acne practically disappear within two days or so, but we'll see. I apply it to the areas with a cotton ball, allow it to dry and wash in the morning, or leave on for a few hours and wash off. I will start a regimen and update in a few weeks.

works i think
I have mixed feelings. I think it works. It makes my acne "sweat". After I put it on, my cystic acne starts oozing pus. It burns worse than anything I have tried so far though and hurts my eyes and the smell is overwhelming. I diluted it 50% water. I want to use it more but the experience is not that fun. Update: It's been about a week and my acne looking better than ever because of ACV. My cystic acne is getting smaller and smaller, almost gone..I have only 3-4 active pimples on my face now!! I had like 10-15 active ones before. Don't know if it will do anything for the scarring I have but I will try to update in another week or so. Someone on here said to give it two weeks. I surprised it's working so fast. Have been using 2x a day, morning and night.

Made my skin look flawless...Until one day it stopped working!
Within days ACV totally cleared my skin up (after a 6 month long mild, but essentially constant, breakout), and it stayed beautifully clear for a few glorious weeks. In fact, I would go one further and say that my skin during this time actually looked and felt a lot better than it had before I'd even started getting problem skin - no spots, perfectly smooth etc. The downside is that I started messing with diluting it with rosewater and/or witch hazel (as I hated the smell of it neat) and it slowly stopped working for me. At this point I've taken a brief break from using it, hoping beyond hope that, I'll be able to reintroduce it into my skincare routine with somewhat similar results - as nothing before ACV gave me such fantastic results. Ugh.

Pros:

best results achieved when you drink and apply acv
dries up acne, but not overnight

Cons:

smell, use only at night
stings if used full strength. dilute.

im glad that i tried using braggs acv for my acne. synergistic effect is achieved when it is applied topically as astringent and when it is taken internally daily. it dries up acne, makes pores smaller and overall gives a glowy clear clean smooth face.

Pros:

Truly clears acne instead of just hiding it or temporarily 'drying it up'.
(Be patient)

Cons:

The more sensitive your skin, the more it burns.
Causes a little redness and swelling.
Things get worse before they get better (But it's worth it).

RECOMMENDED! This is not a superficial treatment, it's almost as if it brings all the acne up and out, so it will get worse as everything seems to 'come to the surface' before 'coming out' or 'being destroyed'.

Pros:

cheap

Cons:

stank

I combine acv with witch hazel and water; it does great things for my skin, and I use it twice a day. Though it can sting on open skin, it's nothing awful and it's not too drying. Also makes an awesome hair rinse.

Pros:

Helps clear skin
Natural
Fairly cheap
Good Alt. Toner

Cons:

Smell
Sting

I use a light mix of natural (not strained) ACV with water as my toner. I haven't seen dramatic results, but I am getting less spots and the spots I do get last far shorter. For awhile I thought my skin was more clear due to hormones balancing during the monthly cycle, but it's stayed more clear. So i'm happy. Not free of zits, but happier than I have been, and it's the only toner that works for me. (BP,Salicilc, Tea Tree, Witch hazel ALL do not work for me. SO I'm left with not great options...) When I wash my face, I rub off the dead skin gently with my fingers. then put on my acv toner. Put on a few drops of lavender oil, and then rub that in with real coconut oil. Completely cuts the smell of the ACV, and counteracts any drying you may get. I recommend it.

Pros:

reduces acne
gets rid of blotchy skin
takes away the small little bumpies (clears pores)

Cons:

smell

This is a wonderful treatment that can do nothing but help your skin. It starts working immediately. However If you already have a severe breakout it may make things appear worse for a few days..as it dries things up and causes the zits too flake. Just be sure to moisturize, this should help this time pass quickly. When starting out I would only use this at night. Wait a few mins after applying and then moisturize with aloe vera. This will counter act the redness caused by the Vinegar. In the morning repeat with a good moisturizer. Once you have built up a tolerance, then you can do the vinegar 2x's a day. A once a week aspirin mask will enhance this treatment. I recommend Bragg ACV

Pros:

makes skin look dewey and shiny
clears acne and prevents new ones( I usually wake up with 3 new pimples, but lately i have none or just one)
skin feels smooth and baby butt soft :D
fades acne scars a bit

Cons:

smells like skunk piss
stings like shet on open scars

i think everyone should give this method a try because it is natural, and will not harm your skin. Even if it doesnt work for you, IT IS STILL WORTH THE TRY!. * This will not completely "cure" your acne, but it sure helps alot~
